Meditation for Heart Chakra and First Chakra

This post is the second part of a response to a request from Robyn for The Council’s support and guidance to:

  • Get past feeling it’s not safe to be herself
  • Stop believing she will be rejected if she expresses her true feelings
  • Start speaking and living her truth

In our first post on Robyn’s questions, we included a transcript of an 18 minute message of guidance from The Council. Part of this message was a suggestion to meditate 10-20 minutes a day to help Robyn connect with the pure spirit she truly is within her physical body.

Later in this session The Council provided step-by-step instructions for a meditation to energize the heart chakra and the First chakra, which they said would improve Robyn’s ability to use her thoughts to create the change she wants in her life. The Council pointed out this meditation can benefit all, not just Robyn. Here are the steps of the heart chakra – first chakra meditation:

  1. In your heart chakra (an energy center in the middle of your chest near your heart) imagine a tiny bright point of white light.
  2. As you imagine this point of light, think of words you associate with emotional well-being and higher vibration energy; examples might be love, joy, compassion, happiness, peace, health, friendship, etc. The words are less important than the good feeling you experience in your heart area as you contemplate these words and what they mean to you. Feel free to be creative in your choice of words that are uplifting for you and feel like they enhance your well-being.
  3. Take time to feel the meaning and uplifting vibration of each word you choose, and notice shifts in your energy as you do this.
  4. After a while, feel how the uplifting vibration of these words expands the point of light in your heart center into a radiant white energy that fills the heart center and moves outward in all directions.
  5. When you are feeling a pleasurable sense of this radiant white energy in your heart center, focus on this energy moving downward from your heart center to your first chakra (your groin area), and if you like, also extending to your feet.
  6. With your awareness focused on the radiant white energy coming down from the heart chakra into your first chakra, think thoughts of physical well-being like: I am safe… I am secure… this body is my vehicle to travel in this incarnation… all is well, etc.
  7. Take time to feel the meaning and the uplifting vibration of these thoughts, and notice shifts in your energy as you do this.
  8. Feel how the uplifting vibration of these words expands the radiance of the pure white energy throughout the area of your first chakra.
  9. When you are feeling a pleasurable sense white energy in your first chakra, imagine it radiating back up to your heart chakra from the first chakra (or from the feet if you’ve been focusing there).
  10. Feel the white light energy radiating from your heart chakra and your first chakra, paying particular attention to a two-way flow of this energy between these two energy centers.
  11. Bask in the radiance of this white light energy in both chakras and the circulation of this energy flowing between them.

In Closing

This heart chakra-first chakra meditation helps bring emotional inspiration and well-being into your physical experience. It is the second of two meditations suggested by The Council. The first meditation is described in our post, Meditation for Spiritual and Emotional Inspiration, which focuses on the crown chakra at the top of the head and the heart chakra.

  4. Hi Erik,
Thanks so much for your comment. We love that you love our blog. As someone with first-hand experience speaking for spirit, your appreciation means a lot to us and is an inspiration for us to continue writing about our experiences connecting with spirit and expanding into love. I enjoyed reading the posts on your blog. I particularly liked the meditations. I think the Awakening Meditation is my current favorite. Lots of luck with your blog. We’re finding that blogging is a journey in itself, in addition to our sessions with The Council. There’s a lot to learn about this medium of communication and how to realize it’s potential. We look forward to reading your future posts. Blessings to you and to Saron.
