Healing Ovarian Cancer
This post is about an excellent question from Katie, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer and would like to know if there’s “a way I can get my higher self to work with and through me to cure myself of this cancer?” And she asks, “How does one renegotiate a life plan that seems to suck, and rewrite or edit it to remove the suffering, and attract health and a happier and more fulfilling life?”
Katie’s question indicates a general awareness of the spiritual principals discussed in other posts in this blog, but she’s looking for guidance on how to apply them in her specific situation.
The first thing The Council mentions is Katie’s beliefs about cancer and how sick she gets when she has chemotherapy. The say because she expects to experience being sick from chemo, she is creating that experience.
Next they tell Katie her spirit created this cancer as a way to get her to sit and think about what is spiritually lacking in her life.
The Council reminds Katie the physical body isn’t solid. There’s space between the structures of her body. And spirit is always flowing an energetic life force to feed the body. On a physical level when you don’t allow this force to flow freely through you, eventually it will cause physical problems. And what stops this flow of energy is fear.
Katie’s spirit created this cancer to look at the fear within her. So as she asks where in her body is the fear, and why is the energy not flowing there, The Council reminds her to think of this fear as fluid, not solid. It is there to be felt, to be perceived differently, and to flow through her and out of her body.
The Council suggests allowing the energy of love to flow freely throughout her body, picturing it any way she can. And ask her body to show her the fear and ask why it’s not moving. As she begins to feel this energy of love flowing more and more throughout her body she can notice it taking away the nauseousness from the chemo. This movement and love will help her get to the point where she can heal this cancer.
This cancer wasn’t created for Katie to suffer. It was created by her spirit for her to stop and change how she perceives herself, how she perceives things she’s experienced, how she’s dealt with emotional and physical hurts in the past, and to now change this. This is how she renegotiates her life plan. She changes how she perceives herself and who she really is. She changes how she perceives what will happen in the future while working through this cancer.
The Council says just with the intention of finding the love within her, just with the intention of having that fluid movement, just with the intention of connecting with spirit she will begin this healing process. Even if she doesn’t know what she’s doing in the beginning, it is her intention to start this healing and find the answers she needs. Even if she doesn’t know how to picture this fluid movement in the beginning, her intention that she wants to do this will already begin her healing.

Since the blog is currently a project we do in our spare time it can take a while for us to do a session with The Council on a question and then publish a post on the session. The Council
Cynthia is able to communicate with a group of five non-physical spirit guides in a manner similar to the way Esther Hicks communicates with and speaks for the spirit guides, Abraham, and Jane Roberts communicated and spoke for the spirit guide, Seth. I (Bob) basically interview The Council as they speak through Cynthia during what we refer to as a session. Sessions generally last 5-15 minutes and are usually audio recorded. During the session Cynthia is aware of what The Council is saying and she also receives visual impressions and other types of telepathic communication from them.
The Council’s Basic Guidance
Since we began these sessions with The Council around 2009 they consistently emphasize a few basic ideas that we attempt to summarize here:
1) You are an eternal spiritual being in a physical body.
You are the energy and vibration of continuously expanding love, intelligence, and joy.
Your physical experience in your physical body and your psychological experience of your personality is a small part of the totality of who you truly are.
Let yourself imagine from time to time what it might feel like to experience more of the wondrous totality of who you really are, and don’t be surprised if you are able to experience this more often.
2) You are the creator of all that you experience.
As you open to the possibility your true nature is greater than you ordinarily perceive, it becomes easier to consider the possibility that this expanded you is truly the creator of everything that you experience.
If you’re used to thinking of yourself in a more limited sense, the idea that you are the creator of your experience may be difficult to understand. Our post, What About This Idea That We Create Whatever We Desire, offers insights into this idea.
3) You are here to expand the love you are into physical reality.
You chose, as a spiritual being, to come into this physical reality to experience the joy of expanding the love you are as a spiritual being, into this physical reality. This is your purpose for being here.
Finding Your Way Around the Blog
Home Page
The left-hand column on the Home page contain a long chronological series of posts with the most recent on top. Each post begins with a title. Clicking on a post title will take you to a blog page dedicated to that particular post. Following each post is a Like button where you can indicate to us and other readers if you like the post.
The footer section of each post identifies the date the post was published, the Categories the post has been assigned to, the keyword/keyphrase Tags assigned to the post, and a Comment link. I was diagnosed with something similar two years ago. I have not been given chemotherapy but instead have been given ‘new’ drugs which I take daily and my side effects are mild. I was filled with fear at first but have learnt about Law of Attraction and through Abraham’s teachings am actually living a joyful life. However recently I was feeling unhappy about weight gain which I had thought was due to hormone tablets I take. Now I know that is just my belief. I think I am doing all I know of to allow my well-being. Is there any advise that The Council would give me? Thank you.

Good question, Susan. On the subject of karma, you might want to review a post from back in 2010 called “What is Karma and How Does It Work? It offers an interesting perspective on the subject of karma. On the subject of helping another soul with a life lesson, we imagine this could also be the case. I absolutely loved this question and answer. So very helpful and hopeful. And I can see applying the same sort of advice to healing other physical woes; allowing love to flow through.
I do have one question for the council: I understand how creating energetic blocks of fear can occur over a lifetime, creating disease such as cancer. But, what are the energetics behind an infant or very young child having cancer? I can think of two boys off the top of my head that experienced cancer diagnosed at 5 years old. And another 2 who had testicular cancer in their early 20’s. I have been told that in cases where someone very young gets cancer, it can be to balance karmic energies or to help another soul with a life lesson. What’s your take on why these young people might get cancer? Thank you so much.
