This post is inspired by questions from a reader named Miyam who is past her first trimester of pregnancy and she says she’s tried to abort with herbs because she can’t afford a medical abortion. Miyam has tried speaking with the soul of the unborn child in the hope of convincing it to miscarry, and she asks The Council for advice on convincing this soul to terminate it’s pregnancy rather than be born.
The Council says the spirit of this unborn child understands that Miyam wants it to miscarry, but the reason Miyam got pregnant was for her to realize she must take more control of her life and move it forward in the direction she chooses. The Council advises Miyam not to expect a miscarriage in this pregnancy. They say she must make a decision whether to give birth to the child and raise it by herself, or be brave enough to make the decision to end her pregnancy.
Miyam says she doesn’t plan on being a mother any time soon, and The Council repeats that the child won’t magically go away. They advise her to then move forward an have the pregnancy terminated, but it must be done soon.
The Council suggest Miyam continue speaking to the child and feel the love it sends her so she can be strong enough to make the decision that she wants. They say if she chooses to abort, this is fine. It was part of the pre-planning. The lesson for Miyam in this is to answer the question, where is she going forward from this point?
The Council suggests finding a way not to live with the man she apparently doesn’t want to be with. Find a way to live on your own. Move toward these dreams. They say that is Miyam’s answer.
Listen to our entire session with The Council (below) to hear all the guidance for Miyam and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.
This post is inspired by follow-up questions from Vacha who has been in an abusive marriage and has moved back to India with her parents. This is Vacha’s second marriage and both husbands were physically abusive.
The Council asks Vacha if there’s any question in her mind that she did the right thing when she left her husband. They imagine if you’re in an abusive situation, you’d feel comfortable that you had the power and the knowledge how to get out of this relationship.
Vacha asks The Council if she has any karmic accounts with her two husbands, and The Council says this in not the case.
The Council asks Vacha if she sees a pattern in why she chose these two abusive marriages. These have been lessons about awareness. The signs of abuse were there before each marriage. What has Vacha learned from these relationships? The Council says if Vacha doesn’t start asking herself this question, she will bring another abusive relationship. She has created this situation so she would learn about awareness, self-worth, courage, and how to create what you want.
Vacha asks if The Council sees her in a good relationship in the future. And The Council says she must do the work they describe if she wants a good relationship. Let go of the fear of what she’s experienced and let go of the question if there’s someone better for her. Focus on herself and find within the strength to believe she deserves better. Visualize a better life. Think of the abusiveness as a learning lesson and then let it go.
Vacha asks if there’s a chance she planned to have these abusive relationships before coming into this world, and The Council says definitely.
The Council says Vacha needed to fail in these two marriages in order to see what she wanted to learn. And she’s right on track; there’s nothing wrong here.
Listen to our entire 7-minute session with The Council (below) to hear all their guidance for Vacha and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.
This post is inspired by questions from a reader named Audrey, who appears to have some difficulty accepting The Council’s idea that what we believe creates the reality we experience. Audrey uses the example of the Earth being round instead of flat, which she appears to believe is an incontrovertible scientific fact. But interestingly The Council seems to suggest that when people believed the Earth was flat, their belief created a reality where the Earth was flat.
The Council says the Earth is made up of energy that is able to shift shapes with the thoughts we think about it. And they add that many people aren’t at the point where they believe this is possible. The Council says at one time the Earth was flat, but along came others who began to believe the Earth was round. And because of the strength of this belief they found a way to create proof of the Earth’s roundness.
At the time people thought the Earth was flat they also didn’t think the Earth revolved around the Sun, and The Council says these thoughts created that reality and the Earth didn’t rotate around the Sun at that time. As we grow and want to make life more interesting and challenging, our thoughts change, we reach for more, and we create more. The Council adds that how we perceive our universe will change again in the future.
The Council says science and facts depend on the beliefs of people. Once you accept a thought and it becomes part of your belief system, and more and more people accept that thought, your reality will change to create that thought and you will have that experience.
Audrey asks The Council how she can stop being so left-brained. And The Council recommends looking into topics that she doesn’t currently believe and ask herself if she’d like to experience this, and she will begin to create what she focuses on and desires.
Audrey says she wants to connect with spirit. And The Council reminds her she already is connected to spirit and she is spirit. She has only to ask her higher self for signs of who she truly is and how she can create. Let her higher self give her a sign that she’s the creator and she’s not just here mumbling through this life. And be open to how it comes. Her higher self will bring her what she asks for.
Audrey says she does many things like meditation and yoga, but she doesn’t seem to connect with spirit. The Council says these things are helpful, but the feeling of connection will come from within her. They recommend she picture within her heart a small flame, which is a small part of her as spirit. Watch this flame grow daily as she meditates on this. As the flame grows Audrey will become more aware of who she really is and she will feel more connected to the spirit she is.
The ideas in this post may be challenging at first, but listen to our entire 11-minute session with The Council (below) to receive all their guidance for Audrey and the rest of us. And let us know what you think.
This post is inspired by a question from a reader named Michelle who asks The Council about her recent abortion. She and her husband made the decision together to abort the child, but Michelle is having difficulty finding peace with her decision. She understands much of what we’ve posted on the subject of abortion, but feels she could still benefit from some additional clarification.
The Council says this pregnancy and abortion was pre-planned in spirit by all involved, including the spirit of the aborted child. At this time a greater feeling of love and togetherness is needed, and a focus on the relationship moving forward before Michelle and her partner are ready to have a child. At this time they aren’t where their higher selves planned them to be when giving birth.
The Council says if they didn’t abort this child there would have been a miscarriage. While there is happiness in this relationship, there is also the thought something is not quite right with the timing for a child.
Focus on creating the proper environment and a loving relationship. Speak to the spirit of the child that will come and tell them what is planned and invite the child back. Meditate, pray, or talk together about plans for the future with this child. All positive thoughts will bring this child in.
The purpose of this pregnancy and abortion at this time was to highlight was is needed in this relationship to bring a child into a loving environment and reassuring the spirit of this child what is planned. The Council believes the same spirit that was aborted will return.
Michelle says during and after both her earlier pregnancies with her two current children she was depressed and she was worried the depression would come back. Now she’s feeling depressed anyway. The Council says this depression must be changed with Michelle’s thoughts. Worrying about this coming back will bring it back. Michelle needs to practice changing her thoughts. Focus on the life they desire and bring love into this situation.
Listen to our 6-minute session with The Council (below) to hear all their guidance for Michelle and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.
This post is inspired by questions for The Council from a reader who goes by the name, Trying To Learn. They ask what is the spiritual role of the abortion doctor and clinic staff.
The Council says for each individual it is different. Every abortion doctor and staff person does not have the same lesson. The Council says this applies to the women who are receiving the abortions as well. For each woman the decision to abort brings different lessons.
Trying To Learn asks if women regret their abortions does this have a negative impact on the doctor and staff of the abortion clinic. The Council says some doctors are affected by what they see going on around them. They feel good when the woman is thankful for the abortion, and they feel sad when they feel a woman is aborting because she feels she has no other choice. All lessons are different.
Trying To Learn asks about the role of the protesters outside the abortion clinic. The Council says each protester does this because they see it as their duty to save the lives of the unborn children, but each protester has their own thoughts and focus on how they handle every challenge in their life.
Trying To Learn asks if The Council can shed any spiritual light on the practice of abortions in countries where it is illegal. The Council says while each individual has their own challenge, they also say that in time this can change through beliefs and health systems that want to make things better. These countries will learn from what they see in other countries. The Council recommends sending light and love to the people in these countries and this will help these people grow and open their minds and hearts to a better way of handling unwanted pregnancies.

This post is inspired by follow up questions from a private phone session for a reader named Andrea, who was told her abortion last summer was pre-planned before she was born and the spirit of the child was waiting to return to her in a future pregnancy. The abortion was related to a past life where she died in an orphanage fire where she was taking care of the children, and she’s struggling to understand the relationship between these two events.
The Council says in this past life, not being able to save herself and the children from this fire, she died feeling guilty and with the belief she doesn’t deserve to have children around her. In her current lifetime she comes in wanting children, but the subconscious memory from the lifetime with the fire makes her believe she cannot take care of them.
Andrea must learn this is a different life from her life with the fire and now she has a chance to redo her experience with children and become a great parent or teacher. When she truly believes this she will have one or more children and there will be no more miscarriages or abortions.
Andrea’s abortion was the result of her subconscious belief she wasn’t worthy to give birth to a child and be around them. As she learns to focus on all the good things she’ll be able to create in a life with children and brings love into the current reality, she’ll be able to give birth to one or more children.
Listen to our entire 7-minute session with The Council (below) to hear all their guidance for Andrea and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.
This post is inspired by follow-up questions from a reader named Wendy, who asks The Council if they see her doing the inner work they recommend and if she’s on the right path at the moment. And The Council replies that if she continues with this work and focuses more on the desires she wishes to create in this lifetime, they feel she’ll get there.
Wendy asks if she’s doing well with her son. And The Council asks Wendy what she thinks, because they always see us doing well, whether we consider we are doing well or not. You are teaching each other and learning, and you will find better ways as you grow.
Wendy says she struggles with anxiety and often wonders if she’ll get where she wants to go. And The Council says as she focuses more on her desires and as she appreciates the positive changes she sees happening, she’ll experience less anxiety.
Wendy is concerned she may move beyond the relationships she has now with the people she loves so much. And The Council says everyone is a spirit and grows at their own pace. Even if she goes beyond these people, she’ll help them move forward with her energy and her love, even if they aren’t on the same path as her.
Wendy wonders whether time is a factor in whether the soul she aborted will return to her. And The Council says her beliefs and thoughts are what determines if the soul will return to her. There is a pre-birth agreement with this soul, but if she believes something can interfere with letting this happen, she can create that instead.
Wendy asks how she can keep her negative and fearful thoughts away so she can manifest the joy, love, and success we all deserve. And The Council asks her to pay attention to her feelings. Her feelings are 100% more correct than when she tries to figure out the answer with her brain and will tell her the direction she wants to go.
The Council sees Wendy able to change her life and create the life she desires.
Listen to our entire 10-minute session with The Council (below) to hear all their guidance for Wendy and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.
This post is inspired by follow-up questions from a reader named Vacha, who’s having difficulties with her abusive second husband and she wonders if her spirit pre-birth planned for her to end up in abusive marriages.
The Council begins by advising Vacha to change her thought that she ends up in abusive relationships because as she holds onto this thought and feeling she will continue to create this in her life. Now she knows this is something she doesn’t want and she is able to recreate her life going forward by beginning to picture what she wishes to create now.
Vacha regrets not ending up with a loving companion and feels suicidal sometimes, but then she thinks of her son and that keeps her going. The Council says she’s got much to learn with her child and asks why she’d think of cutting this lifetime short when there’s so much goodness that can be experienced as she creates it moving forward.
Vacha asks if The Council can see happiness for her in a marriage and a career if she move back to India. The Council says it’s up to her, but they see her having a much different and happy life. They see many options opening up for her as she changes her thoughts, focus, and beliefs.
There is much joy that can come to her. She doesn’t need to worry how this will happen. The energy she creates will bring these opportunities to her when she understands why she needed to experience these difficulties which aren’t needed any longer. She is able to move forward and experience the joy she’s looking for.
The Council says to find a way for Vacha to look for and create love in her thoughts. Find the light within herself that’s her higher self and imagine love pouring out to every part of her and around her. And as this love goes out it will attract similar energies of love.
Listen to the recording of our 8-minute session with The Council (below) to hear their guidance for Vacha’s and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.
Vacha has posted two previous questions. You can read her first question here and our answer to it, and her second question here and our answer to that question. In addition, Vacha has posted another question after we did our current session with The Council, but before we posted their response. In her last questions she says she left her husband and moved back to India. You can read her last question here.
This post is inspired by questions for The Council from a reader named Tracey who thanks us for our post, Are All Abortions Pre-planned in Spirit Before Birth?, and she asks if all miscarriages are also pre-planned in spirit before we are born? After Tracey had her first child she’s had three miscarriages, but she wants another child very badly. She asks The Council if there are spiritual lessons she needs to learn before she’ll be able to deliver another child, or is she only meant to have one child in this lifetime.
The Council begins by saying that like all abortions, miscarriages are also pre-planned in spirit. And they go on to say as you hold the feeling of what you desire in this lifetime, at any time you can change what’s been pre-planned in spirit. Your higher self is able to contact the higher selves of the people involved and change what you originally pre-planned. Most of the time what you pre-plan will be carried out, but you can recreate your life at any time in this lifetime.
The Council says Tracey pre-planned to have this second child, but she has to focus on this and let go of the doubts that she can have another child. Tracey’s miscarriages were planned so that this desire would become stronger and that would be her focus.
Tracey wanted to experience feeling she didn’t deserve to have another child. She wanted to experience feeling too sick to have another child. She wanted to experience feeling unable to have a child come to full term and have a beautiful life with her. And then at the correct moment she wants to realize she is the creator of her life and she is able to change these feelings to what she desires.
The Council says it was the same soul that miscarried three times and they add that this soul will return to Tracey again in a pregnancy and when she’s ready she will have this child. Because Tracey and this spirit have known each other before there is a strong desire from both souls to have another lifetime together and focus on kindness.
The Council asks Tracey to meditate on this spirit who wants to come to her again and be in this lifetime with her. Picture the soul of this child sending Tracey love and support so they can be together again. As she holds this focus, that is a way to create this in her life.
Listen to our entire 6-minute session with The Council to hear all their guidance for Tracey and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.
This post is inspired by comments and questions from a reader named Isobel who begins by thanking The Council for their post on Beth’s Story: A Spiritual Perspective and how she doesn’t believe the articles she’s read about women who abort a child and pay for this lifetime after lifetime.
The Council says in spirit, when there are lessons we wish to learn before we come into a particular lifetime, and we don’t quite learn these lessons in that lifetime, we can choose to repeat these lessons in additional lifetimes until we’re sure of the love that exists between all of the parties involved. There is no payment or karma involved that a woman must repeat her abortion lifetime after lifetime. If an abortion is experienced, it is by the loving choice of the spirit to see the experience differently until there is complete love and understanding of that process as a human being.
Isobel recently terminated a pregnancy and wants to know if it was the spirit of a girl she miscarried when she was much younger. The Council says the spirit of this child was known from other lifetimes, but it wasn’t the soul of the child she miscarried.
The Council says this abortion was planned in spirit to learn more about abortion and the process of agreement between the child, the father, herself, and anyone else involved, and then to quickly let go of these feelings and move forward. The Council asks Isobel to meditate on her desire in spirit to move forward and not linger any longer than necessary on the abortion.
Isobel asks if the spirit of the aborted child is likely to return to her in a future pregnancy. And The Council says there’s a possibility she’ll get pregnant again with this partner, but the soul will be a different soul that she knows from another lifetime; not the soul she aborted in this lifetime.
Listen to our entire session with The Council (below) to hear all their guidance for Isobel and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.
This post is inspired by questions for The Council from a reader named Kate who says she has no idea what her purpose on Earth is, which causes her much anxiety. She can’t seem to relax and enjoy being here.
The Council says Kate needs to meditate and needs to perform some grounding exercises to bring her more into this reality. Any meditation will do. Walking outside on grass or dirt in her bare feet will help her ground and pull in the energy of the Earth. Dancing will also help ground her.
Kate says she’s concerned about her future because she believes she’s unable to escape her bad habits and faults when it comes to work situations. The Council says there are never any bad choices, just choices that will bring you quickly to where you want to go, or choices that will take you a longer roundabout route.
The Council asks Kate what she’s learning? If she’s feeling stuck, what would make her feel unstuck? The Council recommends watching other people live their lives, seeing how this feels to her, and deciding what she feels she would like for herself.
When Kate says she sees the possibilities in life, but doesn’t have the courage or self-discipline to pursue them, The Council points out this is a choice that Kate is making. And as long as she believes she doesn’t have the discipline to pursue these possibilities, that is what she’ll keep creating in her life. Her thoughts and beliefs are creating what she brings into her life.
The Council says of course Kate has the courage and ability to change her life and discover what she wants because she is more spirit than she knows, with limitless power, understanding, and love to create what she wants. With meditation her beliefs will begin to change, the courage to try many things will come, and the feeling of being stuck will gradually decrease.
In past lives Kate’s desires were taken away and it’s difficult in this life to believe there aren’t authority figures that will put her down. But that was then and this is now, and she’s here to see how much she can create and take her life in the direction she wants. Meditation will give her clarity. She will feel the answers more than think them. And she will grow and know which direction she wishes to take her life.
Listen to our entire 13-minute session with The Council to hear all their answers for Kate and the rest of us. And let us know what you think.
This post is inspired by a reader named Diana who asks The Council for insight into her 6 month old relationship with her male partner. She’s 42 years old and wants to settle down, but she’s torn about whether to continue this relationship. On one hand they have a deep connection and compatibility on many levels. On the other hand Diana finds her partner’s struggle to cope with the daily practicalities of life quite unsettling. The thought of ending this relationship feels almost unbearable, but she feels stuck with moving forward in the relationship.
The Council suggests Diana look at all the things to be grateful for with her partner. The relationship is not enough for her because she focuses on his shortcomings. Start focusing on things in the relationship that bring her joy.
As Diana begins to appreciate this relationship, The Council asks her to look at what she’s doing to help her partner. Relationships come together as an opportunity to show love to each other, show each other how to grow, and how to transform their challenges. When Diana feels her partner isn’t making good life choices, rather than blame him she can speak with him about other choices and gently show him the way. The Council sees that over time the circumstances of this relationship can improve.
The Council recommends if Diane doesn’t want to move forward with marriage or living together, move forward on how she views these activities and with the thought of helping her partner. If she can take these steps, the relationship will become more of what she wants.
The Council says looking for her partner to improve to make her feel better is not the answer. As Diana begins to appreciate this relationship and sees her partner change, there will be a softening within her and she will allow herself to see what she wants to change within herself.
The Council feels that while the choice to leave this relationship is always Diana’s, they see at this time there is no reason to leave. There is a lot that can be changed and much more that can be appreciated about each other that will help the relationship grow and become more of what she desires.
Listen to our entire 8-minute session with The Council (below) to hear all the guidance for Diana and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.
