Does A Past Life In Germany Explain My Love Of The German Language?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Nafsika.
Nafsika: It’s really fascinating how much we can learn from our previous lives, and at the same time how we need to focus on the present and make the most of it.
Council: And that is the most important right now. Focus on the present.
Nafsika: I have always liked foreign languages. My mother tongue is Greek, and I also speak and teach German. Is there a past life in Germany which can explain my love and passion for the German language? Imagine, I’ve even taught my child German and she’s really good at it.
Council: So what we see here is one life, actually several lives. In the late 1600s and early 1700s where you spoke what was then the language of Germany, but it wasn’t Germany at that time. It was called Prussia. And so you had a life there. And interesting enough, you taught the younger children to speak and to read and were very successful with this. And so you have a great love of this language.
You also were in Germany when it was part of the Roman Empire. And again you had the knowledge of teaching the language, to write it, to read it, and so that’s why you’ve brought it forward in your current lifetime.
So we’d suggest if you want more information, to read about Germany and Prussia in those years, and to find out more about what was going on, and see if that brings back a spark of memory.
We send everyone loving energy, and support from the spirit world to love yourself, to learn how to walk down that spiritual path, and be kind to each other.
