In Which Ancient Cultures Do I Have Past Lives?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named Susan.
Susan: In which ancient cultures have I had past lives?
Council: Oh my (laughing). Again we are with the past lives.
There were many past lives where you entertained. In Greece, in the arenas. In Rome, in private parties and in bars. In Ireland, you were a great singer.
In this lifetime, do you feel like you like the movies, or plays, or books that tell you about entertainers? There were many lifetimes where you loved to dance, but you loved to sing. And so we would say, if you wanted it again, even if you just did it for yourself, you can bring in memories.
We would ask you to learn meditation, and ask to see what it was like singing in a bar for people, drinking and laughing. See what it was like to perform in front of an emperor, in front of soldiers. And so, that is the most outstanding for you now, to see how you are relating to others.
And do you like to make people laugh? You were always out there with people in so many of your past lives. And we would say, it would be good to reach out to people, either one-on-one or in groups, and bring that part of you that is with you, that you have brought from these lives.
And many people bring different parts with them when they come in. And because you had so much fun in so many of these lives, entertaining, even if it was just performing, (we want to say) even to your grandparents, to your family. You liked to make people laugh.
And so we would say, take a look at this now. Is it something you want to do? And if it is, and you never thought you could, we’re here to say, “Go for it.”
Susan: With which groups of star people have I had past lives?
Council: So many people don’t realize… “What planet am I from?” You know, “Where’s my star family?” You are from everywhere. You’ve been in Antares. You’ve been in the Pleiades. You’ve been on Sirius. You are from many, many star planets, many different lives. And so, even though many people want to narrow it down, “Am I a Pleiadian? Am I this, am I that?” You’re everything. And when you think of that, what a wonderful thought.
And so, learn about all these different lives. Read. Watch movies. And sometimes something will really feel familiar, and that’s the wonderful part of this life, when you realize, “What do I know about this? Why do I feel like I did this?” So have fun, and do the research.
And we send you all love, and light, and happy thoughts, and fun on your way to creating and expanding your lives.

hello –
Why am I in Germany away from my home country ? Did I have a past life connection with WW2 ? What was I possibly doing in my previous lives ? Was I ever a doctor ? Why do I dislike the profession ?

Hello! I was hoping to ask a question regarding my eyes. Up until last July, I was finishing a large project and often working for very long stretches on the computer, all day every day, for about a year. My eyes started to become very tired and sore, with headaches, etc. Up until this point, I’ve never had any issues with my eyes, for which I am very grateful, and do not wear glasses. I’ve seen several ophthalmologists who have said that this is muscular, and because my eyes are naturally at rest from 5 meters away, looking at things close at hand for long periods makes my eyes strained. According to them, there’s pretty much nothing I can do as long as I do work close at hand, besides take medication and eye drops. Unfortunately, almost a year has passed. Even though I am spending far less time on the computer, I am still suffering from strained eyes, even when I wake up in the morning. It’s awful.
I suspect there is a spiritual reason for this coming in, since this has never been an issue before–perhaps a sign to tell me to rest? But the problem is that all the the crafting activities that “rest” me emotionally, and where I’d like to pivot for future work, all involve focusing on things, and cause eye strain. Doing the chakra breathing from your website, especially for the sixth chakra, has so far only somewhat helped, although I will keep gratefully doing it (it helps me in all sorts of ways, and is an incredible tool).
Do you have any insights of how to make these symptoms go away? I have the gift of free time now, and I really want to invest it in crafting/art and pivoting to working in these fields somehow, but my eyes are slowing me down. I feel frustrated and sad.
