Why Did The Council Recommend Reading About Psychic, Sylvia Browne, In Another Post?

This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader.

Anonymous: This question relates to The Council’s comments in another post about a reader named, Jaelyn, and her psychic past life. I’m wondering why The Council suggested reading up on Sylvia Browne? I’ve looked her up and it seems that amongst other things, she’s hurt many people with false claims. Jaelyn’s question, as well as the answer provided by The Council, resonated with me deeply. However, after researching Sylvia Browne, I feel self-doubt.

Council: Well we’d say, what does Sylvia Browne have to do with you being doubtful of yourself?

Sylvia Browne has helped many, many people. Then she was in a place where perhaps she decided to act differently. Maybe she did hurt people. Maybe not on purpose. Maybe on purpose. But what you or others must learn is that there are many, many psychics out there. Some work honestly and will help you, and then there are what people refer to as “quacks”. And it’s very wise for you to learn about that, but know that there are both, and according to each soul and whatever they are going through, they will create in their life the kind of psychic they want to be.

But now more than that, know that Sylvia was a soul that chose this path to work, and then to wake some people up to what goes on. But in all of this, what you are supposed to learn when you get down to it is that you don’t need a Sylvia Browne, or any other psychic.

If you meditate, if you have the discipline to go into the vibration of joy, and sit and wonder, and ask questions, you will become your own psychic, and you’ll see that the answers you get will work out with whatever you’re going through, or whatever you want to create.

And so because of one famous psychic hurting people or not doing the right thing, it’s not so horrible. Take that and learn from it.

And so if you chose to go to another psychic, you’d perhaps be aware to watch what you’re being told. Unfortunately, many people will just follow a psychic’s advice, even if it doesn’t sound right. This is more about everyone learning to trust themselves and their intuition.

And so there are the good psychics, and there are the bad psychics. But in reality, there are no bad psychics because these souls signed up to play these parts to teach the others that are here about this sort of behavior, and mainly to perhaps get people wary enough that they’ll work on following their own intuition.

And when your higher self sees that this is what you want, it brings more power to the surface for you to find the right answers, and that’s what this is all about.

Bob: So when you recommended that Jaelyn read books about Sylvia Browne’s life, the purpose for that recommendation comes from the part of Sylvia Browne’s life where she was helpful to people?

Council: Yes, and then to read the negative stuff that’s written about her so you see both sides. It’s not black and white. It’s grey. And that’s what happens in the human condition. You can go from one vibration to another and then back again. And so there are also lessons in that for Sylvia, what she needed to learn. And so to read about both sides and just remember to accept the way she was, and then see what have you learned from it?

Wonderful questions. And so we send you love, and light, and the thoughts to keep you in the positive vibration, and to little by little learn how powerful you are as spirits, and that you can create all of your desires.

How Can This Darkness Leave My Past?

This post is inspired by a reader named Linda who says she was involved in some occult rituals before she found God, and she asks The Council if psychics are able to see her past, forever? She says someone performed a sexual energy ritual on her that she believes has “forever devastated me”, and she’s concerned because psychics say they’re able to see this and it makes them sick.

Linda says she doesn’t have any part of that life anymore, but The Council says she does have part of this in her life because each time she focuses on what happened, she is bringing this experience into her life.

The Council says no one can do any sort of ritual and put any sort of energy on you if you do not believe it and allow it. They say most humans would go into fear and believe they’re powerless under these circumstances, but The Council says this in not true. They encourage Linda to feel her power, begin to believe who she is as a spiritual being, and understand this was an experience she has passed through and has now chosen another way. And they say nothing ties Linda to this person and the ritual she participated in except her belief that it continues to effect her.

The Council says everything  that happens to you is because of what you believe and they recommend Linda change her beliefs about this ritual. See it as an experiment she chose to go through, but no longer needs in her life. If Linda believes the results of this ritual are hanging around her she can think of these energies drifting away and focus on her new path with God.

The Council says because Linda believes this ritual is still affecting her, she’ll bring people into her life that will say they see this energy until she realizes this is no longer needed. But The Council says it was important for Linda to have this experience so she could come to the understanding she’s strong and she can chose. And The Council says if Linda begins to change her thoughts and finds more joy with her God, her energy will become lighter, she’ll feel better, and people will no longer see evidence of this ritual.

When Linda asks if this experience can be removed from her, The Council says as she truly finds forgiveness she’ll understand this was an experience that was needed by all concerned and she’s passed through this. Concentrate on what makes her feel strong: her God, love, and joy. This is what will help her remove the unwanted effects of this ritual.

The Council sees Linda has a fear the effects of this ritual will be with her the rest of her life and they say the more she thinks of it, the more she’ll keep that energy around her. They say a big lesson in this lifetime for Linda is not to have the thoughts and opinions of other people affect her. She should find the strength to release this by herself by staying in the vibration of love. That is what The Council sees is necessary now, and they say they will always be there to help her.
