Do Imaginary Worst Case Scenarios Manifest In Another Reality?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named EG.
EG: Hello, Bob, Cynthia, and The Council. I have a question about other realities.
I tend to overthink things, and often create worst case scenarios in my head. When I do this, does that mean that these worst case scenarios manifest in another reality?
Council: It manifests in the thought reality, and images and thoughts have their own life. They will become real, as a thought, and it will go out into the universe. It’s there. It exists. It does not mean that you here are a part of it. But a thought – every thought you think is important. Every thought is alive, and is traveling through the universe, over, and over, and over. That is why we always say, try to stay positive, because those positive thoughts will make your reality, and other realities, positive.
So being aware and asking this question, if it exists in another reality, is a wonderful question. Yes, it is thought. It is just energy that’s in this particular thought form, but it does not stay here with you in this reality.
And so, again, the answer would be, learn to meditate. Acknowledge when you have overthought something, or when you are overworrying about something. Acknowledge it, and then have the choice available that you can change it. And that is how you begin to change in this reality, even though you have had many, many negative thoughts.
EG: And does my spirit participate in this [creating worst case scenarios that manifest in another reality]?
Council: Your spirit knows about this. Your spirit doesn’t participate in anything negative. It sees it. It lets it pass. It lets it go. And when you try and call in the positive, your spirit will bring in the positive. There is no negativity for spirit.
EG: Love you guys.
Council: And so, our blessings, our wishes for happiness, and joy, and fun on your path, go out to everyone.

Hi, Barry. We agree. This was a very good question, and a very good session. We particularly like the way The Council emphasizes positive thinking and the way we each have the choice, in any moment, to change our thought to a more positive one. It was also nice to hear that spirit doesn’t participate in anything negative. Thanks for your comment.
