What Are Your Past Lives Telling You Now?

This post answers a question for The Council from a reader named Lotus1111.

Lotus: Hi, Bob & Cynthia. I would like to ask The Council about my past lives.

Council: That’s quite interesting because there are many, many past lives, and there are many you can learn about. But first, we would like to make it very clear that as we are progressing, and becoming more enlightened, and moving into what people believe [are] different dimensions, it is more important to concentrate on the now, and what you are doing with your life now.

What spiritual experiences are you having? Because everyone, whether they believe it or not, is having some degree of change, of becoming more aware of what is going on around them. Is becoming more aware of questions they are asking about themselves, and about others, and life’s purpose. And that is exactly why we have all come here at this time, to be part of this change into different dimensions, [and] to be open now to meet different lifestyles that will be happening very soon. And so we can say, take your attention and put it there. And ask yourself what you’re doing, and what part of what you’re doing is helping others. We are all here right now to reach out and be of service to others, and help each other grow into these brand-new, exciting lives that we will be living.

We would say your past lives – you are still living them. They are all going on. They are all around you, side by side, from times in the beginning when things were wild, men hunted, and animals were of the very large size. There are lives going on in ancient times of Greece and Rome. There are lives going on that have passed not too long ago in wars, in peace, [and] learning about respect for each other, which is a big lesson that is needed now.

And so we can say you wanted a clue of your past lives. You’ve been everywhere. You’ve been in other planets. But the closest we feel that would help you now is the many lives you’ve had during wars. You’ve been male in many of these lives. You’ve also been female during wars, helping people hide, helping people escape, [and] helping people heal.

And so what are you doing now? Are you part of helping people feel better? Are you there for people with problems? Whether it’s health, [or] whether it’s just a need for a friend and talking. That is what you brought with you from many of those lives.

And so, to be on the path you’ve planned for this lifetime, it would be of help, whether in large organizations or just one-on-one… So we would say, read about different wars, from ancient times forward, and see what was going on, and what do you learn about the people that were there to help other people when others walked away. And that is your purpose this lifetime.

  1. I have a question for the Council. I soon will be 81 yrs old, and I have no idea what my purpose is after all these years. I feel the council may be able to help me with this. Thank You
