What Can You Tell Me About The Concept Of A Soul Blueprint?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Kratika.
Kratika: I wish to know from The Council about the concept of soul blueprint. It’s pretty much the same case as that of the soul contracts – that the soul planned for certain events and a theme in this lifetime to be navigated.
Council: It’s very interesting. Soul blueprint. Soul contract. Everything, no matter how you name it, can be changed to what you want.
Kratika: This particular theme is very much in your astrological birth chart. For instance, my birth chart has a theme of death of ego, rebirth, and transformation.
Council: We’d like to say here that many people follow horoscopes, astrological charts, numerology, etc. You have created this to be important in your life. You have created to be aware of it, but many people never follow any of this and create the life they want.
Sometimes you create it to show you you’re following what’s in your chart. And then people begin to think, “Oh well, that’s it for this life. It’s in my chart. I’m done.” And we’d like to say here that is not true. It’s just there to give you an idea of something you are creating, not because it’s in your chart, but because it’s in your subconscious. It’s what you’re thinking.
You can think you can be very successful and it will happen. You can think you will be without a relationship, that you would fail in many parts of your life, and you would find it in your chart until you realize because this is part of you that wants to grow, it wants you to see it’s in your chart, but you can change it. It’s there in your chart for you to learn from it. It has no bearing unless you believe in it.
But some people will look at their chart and laugh and say, “Oh my God. I’m nothing like that.” Of course you’re not. You are the way that you focus. You are the way that you think. Do you live in fear? Do you live in love? Are you successful? Are you more inclined to positive thoughts?
And so when your life – and this is many people – when your life isn’t working right you have to find out why, so you blame an astrological chart. It’s just there to point it out to you because it means something to you. But in reality, you are the only one who is creating what is happening.
Think of how many people never read a horoscope, or never look at their astrological charts, but they’re creating all over the place, whether it’s good experiences or bad experiences. You don’t need to focus on your chart unless you see what’s in your chart that you don’t like. And you become very strong-willed and say, “That’s ridiculous. I’ll change this.” Then it has taught you something. And when you change it, you will begin to understand how powerful you are.
Kratika: I have a heavy Saturn placement in my birth chart…
Council: Yes. So. (Laughs)
Kratika: …which speaks of restrictions and limitations. The ego death and transformation have been happening to me for years.
Council: Because you believe in these restrictions. No one restricts you or anything in your life except you.
Kratika: Now I am really exhausted. I also feel that I have just made spiritual progress, but nothing seems to happen in the material world.
Council: Because you are in charge. And perhaps now you will listen, maybe, to what we have said, and you will realize, “I have to get on top of this. I have to change my thinking.”
Anyone who is having a bad time in life and thinks, “Oh my God. I’m done for. Look at this chart. Saturn has this, and the Moon has that. That’s what you are supposed to learn. It has no bearing. You are not done for in this lifetime unless you believe that.
So now that you know you are a spirit that is very powerful, change your thoughts. Forget. Let go of the astrological chart. Now focus on what you want, and do it happily. Do it with excitement that, “Oh, now I know. Now I can change it. This is wonderful.” When you begin to believe like that, your life must change.
Kratika: I really don’t understand why my soul would choose this kind of experience because it has made me so dull and numb.
Council: Up until now, yes, you chose it to learn from it, to learn that you are in control.
Kratika: I feel too old for my age now. Also, what about one’s astrological blueprint?
Council: Same thing.
Kratika: How can you manifest joy and abundance in your life when those planets in your chart create so many hindrances?
Council: Because you can. It’s there to show you things aren’t so good. You know you’re going to have a difficult time until you get to the point where nobody else can go through what you go through. No one else can create for you in your life. It doesn’t matter where the planets are. You chose to see that, to bring that into your life, to realize it doesn’t matter what your chart says. “I am in control.”
And that’s one of the main purposes of all who are in this reality now. To learn about spirit. To learn to bring love in, and also to yourself. To learn you are in control. And that is why many people go through difficult times. To see it, experience it, and perhaps get angry enough, or strong enough and say, “Enough. I will think of the good things. I will think and feel the way I want it.” And do the visualization, and then you will change. And then you will have accomplished one of the things you came here for.
A wonderful question. It shows that you are now ready to begin the change that you wanted to experience. We are very happy for you.

You will learn from your planet. And what is going on? Just watch what is going on in your life, and you will know what you are creating.

The Council
Cynthia is able to communicate with a group of five non-physical spirit guides in a manner similar to the way Esther Hicks communicates with and speaks for the spirit guides, Abraham, and Jane Roberts communicated and spoke for the spirit guide, Seth. I (Bob) basically interview The Council as they speak through Cynthia during what we refer to as a session. Sessions generally last 5-15 minutes and are usually audio recorded. During the session Cynthia is aware of what The Council is saying and she also receives visual impressions and other types of telepathic communication from them.
The Council’s Basic Guidance
Since we began these sessions with The Council around 2009 they consistently emphasize a few basic ideas that we attempt to summarize here:
1) You are an eternal spiritual being in a physical body.
You are the energy and vibration of continuously expanding love, intelligence, and joy.
Your physical experience in your physical body and your psychological experience of your personality is a small part of the totality of who you truly are.
Let yourself imagine from time to time what it might feel like to experience more of the wondrous totality of who you really are, and don’t be surprised if you are able to experience this more often.
2) You are the creator of all that you experience.
As you open to the possibility your true nature is greater than you ordinarily perceive, it becomes easier to consider the possibility that this expanded you is truly the creator of everything that you experience.
If you’re used to thinking of yourself in a more limited sense, the idea that you are the creator of your experience may be difficult to understand. Our post, What About This Idea That We Create Whatever We Desire, offers insights into this idea.
3) You are here to expand the love you are into physical reality.
You chose, as a spiritual being, to come into this physical reality to experience the joy of expanding the love you are as a spiritual being, into this physical reality. This is your purpose for being here.
Finding Your Way Around the Blog
Home Page
The left-hand column on the Home page contain a long chronological series of posts with the most recent on top. Each post begins with a title. Clicking on a post title will take you to a blog page dedicated to that particular post. Following each post is a Like button where you can indicate to us and other readers if you like the post.
