Why Did My Twin Flame Pass On?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader who goes by the name, StarSeedIndigo , in response to our previous post, Twin Flames, Twin Souls, and Soulmates – What’s the Difference. She begins by discussing aspects of her friendship with her twin flame.
The Council says the similar aspect of StarSeedIndigo and her twin flame are caused by both of them originating from the same higher self. You create this situation because what you want to experience in your current lifetime, you may not do it if you believe you’re alone. When you feel there’s someone with you that has much knowledge, it helps you grow and makes it easier for you to absorb information.
StarSeedIndigo says she typically receives her answers and guidance in her dreams. Six weeks ago she dreamt that she was going to her twin flame’s funeral. The Council interprets this to mean her twin flame is preparing her for his exit.
StarSeedIndigo says she knew in the dream that her twin flame passed on (physically died) in a motorcycle accident. Seventeen days after her dream, her twin flame actually did pass on exactly like in her dream. She says since then I’ve been unable to find peace and feel my soul is in shock. I feel alone and the presence of my twin is starting to fade. He’s been communicating with her in subtle ways, but she’d like to be able to communicate with him clearly.
The Council says the fear of loosing communication with the part of your higher self who was your twin flame is a fear you’re facing. The communication between these two parts of yourself will always be there.
StarSeedIndigo asks why the soul of her twin flame decided to leave at this time and what’s the most important lesson for her from his passing?
The Council says there was an agreement in spirit that when you get to a certain part of your life where you were ready to explore the rest of your life on your own, then the twin part of you would leave. This happened because you’re ready to go forward on your own. You’re ready to explore more of the spiritual world.
There’s a confidence you wanted to feel when you were ready to go forward, and you created your twin flame to help give you this confidence. He helped you have confidence to go beyond what most people believe. When your twin flame was with you it was easier to have this confidence. Now you want to know you can move forward communicating with the higher part of you, and learn and experience more. That is why you had this experience with your twin flame.
StarSeedIndigo asks if it’s okay for her twin flame’s soul evolution if she wants to continue communicating with him?
The connection to the part of you that played your twin soul will always be available to you. Even if you create other parts of yourself that go into other realities, that twin part of you will always exist, just as every part of every lifetime you’ve experienced still exists. They are there for you to research, connect to, and ask for greater understanding of these realities. The experiences of these realities (lifetimes) is never taken away.
StarSeedIndigo asks The Council for guidance for herself on her life path?
The Council advises StarSeedIndigo to go further in her studies and her understanding of the spiritual realm. There’s also a part of her that wanted to have a lot of travel in her life. When she feels it’s time to vacation or move somewhere she feels called to, they suggest she follow this feeling. This is what she wanted to create as she was setting up this life in spirit before she were born.
How much do you want to continue acquiring knowledge and to experience things that are very different from what are considered normal? Talk about what you learn with different people and go to places where more of this is available to you. And it would be good for you to learn different modalities of healing because you have access to this energy. That is what you planned up to this point in your life.

The Council
Cynthia is able to communicate with a group of five non-physical spirit guides in a manner similar to the way Esther Hicks communicates with and speaks for the spirit guides, Abraham, and Jane Roberts communicated and spoke for the spirit guide, Seth. I (Bob) basically interview The Council as they speak through Cynthia during what we refer to as a session. Sessions generally last 5-15 minutes and are usually audio recorded. During the session Cynthia is aware of what The Council is saying and she also receives visual impressions and other types of telepathic communication from them.
The Council’s Basic Guidance
Since we began these sessions with The Council around 2009 they consistently emphasize a few basic ideas that we attempt to summarize here:
1) You are an eternal spiritual being in a physical body.
You are the energy and vibration of continuously expanding love, intelligence, and joy.
Your physical experience in your physical body and your psychological experience of your personality is a small part of the totality of who you truly are.
Let yourself imagine from time to time what it might feel like to experience more of the wondrous totality of who you really are, and don’t be surprised if you are able to experience this more often.
2) You are the creator of all that you experience.
As you open to the possibility your true nature is greater than you ordinarily perceive, it becomes easier to consider the possibility that this expanded you is truly the creator of everything that you experience.
If you’re used to thinking of yourself in a more limited sense, the idea that you are the creator of your experience may be difficult to understand. Our post, What About This Idea That We Create Whatever We Desire, offers insights into this idea.
3) You are here to expand the love you are into physical reality.
You chose, as a spiritual being, to come into this physical reality to experience the joy of expanding the love you are as a spiritual being, into this physical reality. This is your purpose for being here.
Finding Your Way Around the Blog
Home Page
The left-hand column on the Home page contain a long chronological series of posts with the most recent on top. Each post begins with a title. Clicking on a post title will take you to a blog page dedicated to that particular post. Following each post is a Like button where you can indicate to us and other readers if you like the post.

Hi. I have a question about divine timing. My twin flame partner crossed as a result of cancer earlier this year leaving me completely devastated and confused. Many years before he was told his life plan by a guru and was supposed to have lived longer than he did. He himself was a very powerful medium and we were both certain that he would recover.
My question is why did he leave early. Was it because his work was done? Was he needed on the other side sooner? Or did he teach me and I learned my lessons sooner than expected releasing him sooner.
I would very much appreciate an explanation if this is even possible.

I have a question regarding a possible twin flame. I have never met this person, but knew of them. I hadn’t thought of them for years after they died, and then when I was at one of my lowest points, he popped into my head. After this, I started having dreams of him. I also started to develop some kind of “sensitivity”. I have asked the universe for signs and I have received them, but it seems to fantastical. Not long after I asked the universe for a sign the other day, within minutes, a moving truck with his name on it drove in front of me. My question is, is this person my twin flame, and are they trying to send me a message in my dreams? They even spoke to me in one of my dreams, telling me I had changed. Please, any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Just realized after reading your answers multiple times that I must have on a higher level decided to learn and experience on my own out of the normal reality because all this time I have been waiting for your answer not realizing that you have posted the article long ago.This morning I had a persistent thought that I should check your page out because I’ll have my answer…talk about guidance…💚Then I see the post has been available for so long.I must say it comes as a confirmation of everything it’s been going on in my life since my twin left.I have learned so much,I do talk with may people about things I know and see(they all say I am helping them immensely) and I did take time off.My communication with my twin is now evolving on a mental level and I feel confident and calm.
