Some Interesting Questions About Spirit

This post answers some very interesting questions for The Council from a reader named, Mary, who starts by asking if spirit is constantly growing?

The Council says spirits from other dimensions and realities are coming to Earth to experience what they desire to experience, and in this way spirit is growing. And each spirit grows from everything that spirit learns in each dimension or reality. The Council adds that as we live in our current reality, if there’s another reality we’d like to experience, a part of our spirit is able to go into that new reality and create and learn there.

The Council says there’s no actual number of spirits and we can create as many different parts of ourselves, in different realities, as we need to create in order to have the experiences we desire. And all spirits in every dimension and every reality were created at one time. This is new information for us and we’re still trying to understand the implications of this.

Mary asks: If there are old souls with more wisdom, are newer souls more likely to choose difficult life situations? To clarify whether there are old souls and new souls, Bob asked The Council this question and The Council replied, “There are just souls.” The Council adds that the souls we humans consider old are the souls that bring more information back with them into the current reality. The newer souls that have so much to learn have decided to come back into this lifetime with less information from previous lifetimes so they can have a fresh experience what this information is.

To answer Mary’s question about whether a new soul is more likely to choose a life with more difficult situations than an old soul, The Council says the answer is no. On one hand The Council says a soul may decide to have an easy, loving life. And on the other hand this soul can decide it needs to experience a lot of difficulty so it can grow by changing the difficulty and learning from it. The Council adds that while this soul experiences this difficulty it has chosen, this soul is also teaching the people around it what it’s like to go through this difficulty. And The Council says an old soul as well as a new soul is able to go through an easy or a difficult lifetime.

The Council says all spirits know everything, but you choose to forget what you know as a spirit when you come into this reality and begin a new lifetime so you can learn more. The Council asks, why would you come back and experience another lifetime if you already knew everything? There’d be nothing new or fresh to experience and learn from.

Mary asks if an innate sense of morality and love stay with us and grow with us through lifetimes? The Council replies that our sense of morality and love changes with each lifetime. They say we can have a lifetime where we experience wonderful love, and then we can choose to come back and have a lifetime where we are bitter and unhappy and work our way back to love. In one lifetime we can be a priest or nun, and in another lifetime we can walk the docks where the moral isn’t so good. Each lifetime is according to what we wish to experience.

In Mary’s last question she asks if a soul can decide to be an evil person in order to direct others to a more righteous life, and The Council says this can definitely be the case. The soul choosing to be evil is loving the other souls in their life so much that it agrees to take on this evil role. The Council says each lifetime is just a play and you’re one of the actors in this play. You can choose to be evil because in spirit you know you are all love.

  1. Soooo… if a soul chooses a life of difficulty full of pain and hardship, does that mean that the soul enjoys suffering? I get it that difficult situations are for soul-growth, but to what end? Do souls exist at different levels? Does soul-growth help the soul get to a higher spiritual level?

  2. Hi Cynthia, Bob & The Council!

I wanted to ask The Council for some insights into some things that have been happening to be on a pretty consistent basis for the past few months. I feel like a message is trying to be sent to me from Spirit but I’m not clear on exactly what is it. Here are some details:

    1. About 2-3 weeks ago I was blessed with an encounter with a rare solid white leucistic hawk. He was just sitting on a tree close to the road, so majestic. He waited on me to speed down the road, bust a u-turn, and race back to witness him. I was the only car within 6 lanes of traffic to see him and stop. Upon researching, native Americans believe Hawks come to us when something important is about to be revealed to us. Any white creature is considered sacred because of the rarity of them in nature. By the bird being an albino, the feel it means getting a message that is of a high spiritual nature…a sacred message, if you will. White is the color of purity and truth. There was something deep and powerful during this visit… here I am weeks later and still thinking about it. What was his message?

    2. For about 2 months now, I have been constantly seeing duplicate numbers almost every time I look at a clock. Mostly its 11:11, 3:33, 4:44, and a few others. I know there is a reason for these patterns. But what is it?

I have been working on my understanding
of “law of attraction” and manifestations. Are these signs that I’m on the right path, or signs I’m on the wrong path?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regard,
    Kristi E.
