Why Can’t Lesson Learning Be Easier?

This post answers questions from an anonymous reader who says that learning lessons is a very good thing, but I don’t understand why we have to learn our lessons with so many challenges like suicide, murder, alcoholism and drug addiction.

The Council says not all lessons are challenges and not everyone chooses to experience the challenges you mention. Some people need to learn to feel joy, to feel free, to feel wonderful, or to connect and realize who you are. All these experiences aren’t challenging. Every lifetime you pick a different situation, different things you want to experience, and different reasons you want to experience it. Some are challenging and some are wonderful.

Anonymous says they wish The Council would make it easier for people to learn lessons. The Council replies they take no blame and no credit for the lessons you choose. We are not in charge of everyone. We can’t make anything harder or easier for you. Why is it our choice to pick your lessons for you? You are in control.

The Council says when you are in spirit and you are choosing these challenging lessons they don’t seem difficult. It’s something you’re looking forward to in order to see how you’ll grow from these lessons, how you’ll bring love into these situations, and knowing when you finish your life and come back into spirit you’re fine. What have you learned from this experience? How did you handle it? This is how you learn about you.

  2. That’s just stuff people made up after the fact as a means of control. There are plenty of Channeled Messages from Jesus on YouTube, and you can read books by Dolores Cannon.

  3. Hello, I’m wondering why a common belief in Christianity is that Jesus suffered and died on the cross for our sins.

From a popular Christian website: “We deserve to die and be separated from God forever because of our sins – but Christ took our place. By His death on the cross He paid the price for our sins… Now all we have to do is accept His forgiveness, by trusting Him alone for our salvation.”

This just seems like a strange way to guilt people or rope them into believing. What am I not understanding? Thank you to The Council, Bob, and Cynthia.

  6. My cousin had an extremely difficult life. He became addicted to drugs and alcoholism at a very early age. It destroyed his life. He could have been a writer or a doctor. Instead he was homeless sleeping on park benches. He tried to quit so many times and there were too many challenges always placed in his path. He is so kind and gentle. He shares whatever he has with anyone in need. He takes in stray cats, carried a homeless man to a shelter to protect him and always believes in G-d yet is never given a break. He is such a wonderful human being who has suffered way too much on this Earth. I have heard past life regressions have healed people from karma they have brought over from a past life. He has such a gentle wonderful nature. It seems so unfair to me that such a good person should suffer so much.

  7. Hi, I have a few different questions that I’ve been wondering for awhile. I’ve read a lot of spiritual books, and a lot of near death experiences. Some of what people say contradict each other. I understand from everyone that we are eternal souls. I’m wondering about what part of our personality is eternal? (Is it what we like? Who we are? Our passions?). I’ve read that we are eternal souls and we are all one, and this life is sort of like a dream….like it feels real while we are here but when we die that is really the real reality…and in spirit we will reach a point where we “merge with source” and realize we were never separate in the first place. Is this true? How are we individual and one at the same time? I don’t understand how we are eternal but then people say we will reach a point when we realize there was only ever one of us? Another thing I have read is that we are the soul and we incarnate into human animals who have their own separate personality and are violent and fear based in nature. Is this true, or is it more like a different thing I read which says that we are all love and everything is energy.. nothing is actually physical? And then another question I have is more personal. I’m wondering how do I know what it is I wanted to do career wise before I came into this life? How do I know my purpose? I have many interests, but I’m not sure which direction I want to take. Lastly, how do I know who my soulmate is? I know these are a lot of questions, and I am grateful if you only have the chance to answer one. I just thought I would put them all out there, because I’ll never know if I don’t ask. Thank you!
