Do My Favorite Aunt And I Share A Past Life Connection?
This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader who asks about their relationship with their aunt.
Anonymous: I’d like to ask a question about my relationship with my aunt. She has been my favorite aunt, and she’s almost like a second mother to me ever since childhood.
Council: And yes she was in another reality (lifetime).
Bob: The aunt was this person’s mother in another lifetime?
Council: Yes
Anonymous: We grew apart due to several family-related conflicts after I moved across the country. I want to ask if we share a past life connection.
Bob: Which you said that they do.
Council: Oh, and there is a very good life, we see, a very happy life for the two of you in Lemuria, which was also at the time of Atlantis. And what you did in the schools, you took the young children and you taught them – very interestingly here – to use their thoughts to bring in energy, to lift heavy objects, to learn how to work with colors and vibration, to move things around, and to heal with this.
And so in that particular lifetime, your purpose was to teach the children, very young children, how to play with energy, how to create it to make their lives more prosperous, more creative, and to learn how to work with – and I hope you’re ready for this – when someone is hurt by something you do or say, you teach them forgiveness.
And here’s where we play connect the dots. So what goes on with you and your aunt? What needs to be forgiven? Are you in a place where you can reach out now? Because you are bringing that lesson from that life into this life to see if you remember how to use it. How about that?
Anonymous: I think she may be a star seed like me. Possibly from Pleiades or Sirius. Can The Council please guide me about what are the lessons we are to learn from each other with these physical distances and conflicts?
Council: That there is no distance between love and two spirits, as you were and are again. There is love.
So if something has made a disruption in this relationship, now it’s up to you. Do you want to reach out? Do you want to try and make it happen? Can you make a phone call? Can you write a letter? Can you send an email? Are you ready to try to bring love back into this relationship?
You taught it, so you know how to do it. If this is something you want, meditate on it, pray on it. You will find the action to be taken will come to you. You will get an idea. But we would say, see it in your head first. Feel it that, oh my God, you are so happy, you are in touch with each other again. See it, feel it, because it’s already there for you. And once it’s created [on an emotional level], you will bring it into your physical life.
Wonderful lesson. And so we send you blessings, and happiness, and light, beautiful energy to carry you through your days, to meditate and pray. Or have a few moments a day to have happy thoughts and move forward in your life knowing every single thing that you are experiencing, you have brought in to be of service, to learn from it, and to bring healing and love into your reality.

Since the blog is currently a project we do in our spare time it can take a while for us to do a session with The Council on a question and then publish a post on the session. Depending on the question and the session it can sometimes take weeks after a question is asked to publish a post with The Council’s answer. Please be patient.
The Council
Cynthia is able to communicate with a group of five non-physical spirit guides in a manner similar to the way Esther Hicks communicates with and speaks for the spirit guides, Abraham, and Jane Roberts communicated and spoke for the spirit guide, Seth. I (Bob) basically interview The Council as they speak through Cynthia during what we refer to as a session. Sessions generally last 5-15 minutes and are usually audio recorded. During the session Cynthia is aware of what The Council is saying and she also receives visual impressions and other types of telepathic communication from them.
The Council’s Basic Guidance
Since we began these sessions with The Council around 2009 they consistently emphasize a few basic ideas that we attempt to summarize here:
1) You are an eternal spiritual being in a physical body.
You are the energy and vibration of continuously expanding love, intelligence, and joy.
Your physical experience in your physical body and your psychological experience of your personality is a small part of the totality of who you truly are.
Let yourself imagine from time to time what it might feel like to experience more of the wondrous totality of who you really are, and don’t be surprised if you are able to experience this more often.
2) You are the creator of all that you experience.
As you open to the possibility your true nature is greater than you ordinarily perceive, it becomes easier to consider the possibility that this expanded you is truly the creator of everything that you experience.
If you’re used to thinking of yourself in a more limited sense, the idea that you are the creator of your experience may be difficult to understand. Our post, What About This Idea That We Create Whatever We Desire, offers insights into this idea.
3) You are here to expand the love you are into physical reality.
You chose, as a spiritual being, to come into this physical reality to experience the joy of expanding the love you are as a spiritual being, into this physical reality. This is your purpose for being here.
Finding Your Way Around the Blog
Home Page
The left-hand column on the Home page contain a long chronological series of posts with the most recent on top. Each post begins with a title. Clicking on a post title will take you to a blog page dedicated to that particular post. Following each post is a Like button where you can indicate to us and other readers if you like the post.
The footer section of each post identifies the date the post was published, the Categories the post has been assigned to, the keyword/keyphrase Tags assigned to the post, and a Comment link. If readers comments on a post, the Comments link will indicate the number of comments. If a post has no comments yet, the Comment link text appears as “Leave a Comment”.
Clicking on the Comments link takes you to a Comment text box on a post page dedicated to that post. Contact Us: The Contact Us page contains a contact form similar to the Comment form mentioned above. Hi, want to ask about my past life connection too.
Ever since I was a kid, I kept having these dreams or vision about a guy named Liam. In my dream, he was usually lying in a hospital bed and seems to be dying. And I was there beside him. I think I was his lover, or married partner.
I used to think this was all my imagination until I learned about spirits. Because whenever I connect with him in my mind, I feel very intense emotions: profound love for him and from him. But also lots of grief and I always ended up crying.
So I want to ask The Council: Is he a real person from one of my past lives memories? Or is he present in my present life right now as a spirit guide? Will I get to meet him in this lifetime?
It would be lovely if you can add in any extra details or insights about this, or anything relevant that I need to know at this point in my life.

Wow that’s fascinating reading what the Council wrote about what was taught in school in Lumeria. Could you please ask the Council to elaborate a bit more about what life was like in Lumeria during the time of Atlantis? What other topics were taught in school? What did people do for work? Was money used as a form of exchange? Could you please also ask if they see that I had a lifetime in Lumeria?
