Meditation for Heart Chakra and First Chakra

This post is the second part of a response to a request from Robyn for The Council’s support and guidance to:

  • Get past feeling it’s not safe to be herself
  • Stop believing she will be rejected if she expresses her true feelings
  • Start speaking and living her truth

In our first post on Robyn’s questions, we included a transcript of an 18 minute message of guidance from The Council. Part of this message was a suggestion to meditate 10-20 minutes a day to help Robyn connect with the pure spirit she truly is within her physical body.

Later in this session The Council provided step-by-step instructions for a meditation to energize the Heart chakra and the First chakra, which they said would improve Robyn’s strength to create the change she wants in her life by using her thoughts. The Council pointed out this meditation can benefit all, not just Robyn.

Here are the steps of the Heart chakra – First chakra meditation:

  1. In your Heart chakra (center of your chest near your heart) focus on a tiny point of bright pure white light.
  2. As you focus on this point of light, think of words you associate with beauty. Examples might be: Love, Compassion, Happiness, Understanding, Peace, etc. The words are less important than the good feeling you experience in your Heart chakra as you contemplate these words. Feel free to be creative in your choice of words, as long as they help improve the way you feel.
  3. Take time to feel the beautiful vibration of each word you choose.
  4. Let the feeling of these vibrations expand throughout your Heart chakra and beyond (as far as you like). Notice shifts in your energy.
  5. After a while, feel how the vibration of these words of beauty has expanded the point of light into a radiant sun of white energy that fills the Heart chakra and beyond.
  6. When you are feeling a pleasurable sense of comfort, allow the radiant pure white energy in your Heart chakra to be drawn down to your First chakra (groin area). If you like, allow the radiance to be drawn down through the First chakra to your feet.
  7. With awareness focused on your First chakra and the radiant pure white light coming down from the Heart chakra, think of words like: I am safe; I am secure; This body is my vehicle to travel in this incarnation; All is well.
  8. Feel the vibration of these words and the radiance of the pure white energy expand throughout and beyond your First chakra like another radiant sun.
  9. When you are feeling a pleasurable sense of comfort in your First chakra, allow radiant pure white energy to be drawn back up to your Heart chakra from the First chakra (or from the feet if you’ve been focusing there).
  10. Feel the radiance of the two pure white suns in each of these chakras and the circulation of radiant energy flowing between the two of them.
  11. Enjoy this feeling of the pure white suns radiating in the Heart chakra and First chakra and the feeling of this radiant energy circulating between these energy centers.

As someone with first-hand experience speaking for spirit, your appreciation means a lot to us and is an inspiration for us to continue writing about our experiences connecting with spirit and expanding into love. I enjoyed reading the posts on your blog. I particularly liked the meditations. I think the Awakening Meditation is my current favorite. Lots of luck with your blog. We’re finding that blogging is a journey in itself, in addition to our sessions with The Council. There’s a lot to learn about this medium of communication and how to realize it’s potential.
