Spiritual Reason for a Stillbirth Pregnancy
This post answers questions from a reader named Thuy, who says she feels devastated after having a stillborn baby last November. Though she already has two children that keep her going, she misses the stillborn child dearly. She doesn’t know why the baby wasn’t born alive and still feels lost and confused. Thuy asks The Council for the spiritual reason her baby wasn’t able to make it into this lifetime alive.
The Council says the spirit of this child wasn’t sure it wanted to come in at this time. It wasn’t the right time for this soul to be born in order to learn the lessons it wanted to learn, and so it made the choice to be stillborn. This was an option everyone in Thuy’s family agreed to on a spiritual level. There are things that need to be settled within the family before this spirit can come in and learn what it wishes to learn.
The Council feels this spirit has agreed to come back to Thuy when it’s ready to learn what it wants to learn and if Thuy’s family is able to offer an environment conducive to this learning. Look within your family. Are things calm? Are you okay financially? Is everyone getting along? Is it the right time? These are the reasons this birth did not happen at this time.
Thuy says after the stillbirth she doesn’t feel good about anything. She adds that her husband is trying to sell his business because of an indifference with his partner and she’s worried about the family’s financial future. The Council says these worries can be part of the reason this soul decided not to be born at this time.
Thuy says she used to know what she wanted in her life, but now she’s not sure what will make her happy. The Council says this could also be a reason the spirit of her child chose not to be born at this time. Thuy may need to be more sure of herself and what she’d like to do.
The Council says if Thuy wishes the spirit to return to her in a future pregnancy, now is the time to work on herself and her family. See what you’d like to do, where you’d like to live, and what your husband will do for an income. Focus on these decisions and feel comfortable with them. Do not focus on having this soul come back to you. It will return without focusing on this. Focus on your life and what’s happening right now.
The Council says if Thuy is unsure what she wants right now, go into the vibration of happiness. Play with her two children and laugh with them. Think of your own childhood and anything that brought you joy. Get yourself in the vibration of love and happiness and everything will fall into place.
The Council recommends doing whatever makes Thuy feel good. Stretch yourself and what you believe in. Meditate and you will receive answers and signs for the direction to take your life in. Relax and let in any thought that feels like fun. Bring in the vibration of fun and something will come along that gives you a new beginning. Always be ready to learn something new.
Before Thuy came into this lifetime she was interested in having a great adventure. She wanted to jump around a lot – either move physically or travel. Try lots of different things and don’t be stuck in a single thing. It’s her desire to open to many different joyous experiences.

Since the blog is currently a project we do in our spare time it can take a while for us to do a session with The Council on a question and then publish a post on the session. The Council
Cynthia is able to communicate with a group of five non-physical spirit guides in a manner similar to the way Esther Hicks communicates with and speaks for the spirit guides, Abraham, and Jane Roberts communicated and spoke for the spirit guide, Seth. I (Bob) basically interview The Council as they speak through Cynthia during what we refer to as a session. Sessions generally last 5-15 minutes and are usually audio recorded. During the session Cynthia is aware of what The Council is saying and she also receives visual impressions and other types of telepathic communication from them.
The Council’s Basic Guidance
Since we began these sessions with The Council around 2009 they consistently emphasize a few basic ideas that we attempt to summarize here:
1) You are an eternal spiritual being in a physical body.
You are the energy and vibration of continuously expanding love, intelligence, and joy.
Your physical experience in your physical body and your psychological experience of your personality is a small part of the totality of who you truly are.
Let yourself imagine from time to time what it might feel like to experience more of the wondrous totality of who you really are, and don’t be surprised if you are able to experience this more often.
2) You are the creator of all that you experience.
As you open to the possibility your true nature is greater than you ordinarily perceive, it becomes easier to consider the possibility that this expanded you is truly the creator of everything that you experience.
If you’re used to thinking of yourself in a more limited sense, the idea that you are the creator of your experience may be difficult to understand. Our post, What About This Idea That We Create Whatever We Desire, offers insights into this idea.
3) You are here to expand the love you are into physical reality.
You chose, as a spiritual being, to come into this physical reality to experience the joy of expanding the love you are as a spiritual being, into this physical reality. This is your purpose for being here.
Finding Your Way Around the Blog
Home Page
The left-hand column on the Home page contain a long chronological series of posts with the most recent on top. Each post begins with a title. Clicking on a post title will take you to a blog page dedicated to that particular post. Following each post is a Like button where you can indicate to us and other readers if you like the post.
The footer section of each post identifies the date the post was published, the Categories the post has been assigned to, the keyword/keyphrase Tags assigned to the post, and a Comment link. Am Elyanna, I would like to ask the council about the death of my mother and subsequent deaths of her brothers. It seems a lot strange and feels unusual since these are sudden deaths and usually occur in the context of the bathroom. For instance, my mother died right after a shower while my 2 of my uncles collapsed in the bathroom/toilet. My other uncle has died recently out of COVID related complications. My widowed grandmother has been devastated due to the loss of five of her children, and though she is very prayerful, she does not understand why. Could you please ask the council to help understand what happened to my mother, who left young children behind, and the subsequent death of her brothers. Thank you
