Confused About Gender Identity and Career
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Harmony, who says he’s been confused about his gender identity. He feels more gender fluid or bi-gender and asks for The Council’s take on this.
The Council says they think it’s wonderful Harmony is questioning his gender identity. Everyone who comes into this Earth reality has both genders – it’s what you choose to work with according to the challenges you pick in this lifetime. There are many people who go back and forth and it’s wonderful because you’re thinking about the whole you.
Harmony asks if he might be making up his female feelings in his head. The Council says not to minimize making things up in your head. You do this because something interests you and its calling you. Explore this and go with these feelings. Does it feel good? Do you fight it? Or is it pleasant for you and gives you joy?
Next Harmony asks what he should be pursuing as far as a career. The Council says there’s never a ‘supposed to’ or ‘what you should be pursuing’ as far as work it concerned. Before you came into this lifetime you wanted to experience many things and the dual gender was one of them. You wanted many opportunities in different careers and to travel to different places. Don’t limit yourself. Go with whatever has your interest at the moment and it will lead you to something else. The purpose of the variety you seek in this life was to give you joy, not hardship. Try everything.
When you try something and it’s boring, then move on to something else. If you try something and it makes you happy then stay with it until you feel a change is necessary. When you find something you love to do, do more of it.
The Council closes by saying you brought many talents with you and because of what you want, explore all of it. Don’t limit yourself.
