Can I Create The Outcome Of My Corrected PhD Thesis?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Anna, who says: I’m a PhD student at the end of my studies. I passed a grueling exam, which included one examiner shouting at me for nearly two hours, and I’d be handed my degree subject to completing some corrections. I love the subject I wrote about, labored over my corrections, and submitted them at the end of last year, but have heard nothing since.
The Council asks Anna: Why is there doubt that what you did is not good enough? As we tell everyone, you are the creator. You will create according to what you believe. If you believe these people won’t accept your corrections and won’t pass you, you’ll create that. How about turning the focus around and keep thinking, I did a wonderful job. I really came up with wonderful corrections. I’m so proud of it and happy with it. I will pass this. This is wonderful.
Anna says: I have this feeling in the pit of my stomach and had a dream that my PhD examiners will not pass my thesis corrections. The Council says: It’s all your fear and doubt that creates this.
Anna says: Once I realized I felt this way I began using affirmations, visualizations, and prayers that my thesis would be approved. The Council says: But your belief hasn’t changed. You are praying, almost begging for them to pass your corrections, by some miracle. Take your power. Visualize it. Feel it. You’re happy. You’ve completed your thesis. Now imagine it’s been accepted.
Everything that everyone experiences is created by them. Your fear and doubt are created by you. It’s your job right now to believe in yourself and reach a place of confidence. No matter how long it takes you to create that, you have to wait and believe your PhD thesis will be accepted. These evaluators that you’ve created are just a challenge. It’s so you can learn who you are and how powerful you are.
You ask if it’s true you can create anything? You want proof. And we tell you to do the work. If you see it, if you feel it and don’t beg for it from a place of doubt, but be confident your thesis is perfect and wonderful, you’ll be happy with it and you’ll create it.
Anna says: Sometimes I’m able to feel better about receiving my PhD and believe it, and sometimes I don’t. The Council says: When you don’t believe it, acknowledge your disbelief, realize you’re in your doubt again, and change your thought immediately. Have the discipline to get into a confident mode. Know you are a powerful spirit running around in this world because you want to see who you really are. You want to discover how powerful you are and that you are the creator. That’s why you’ve created this situation.
Anna says: I also used tarot card readings to see what the outcome would be and I received the same message, that my corrections wouldn’t pass. The Council says the reason for this is it’s what you believe at this time.
Anna says: I’m wondering if I can really change this outcome? The Council says: Without a doubt, you can. Anna says: Can I really change two people’s free will and their decision about my work? The Council says: Yes, because when you create, you’ll create it in a way that fits into your world and these people will change. You don’t have to know how or why they’ll change, but you can create that they will change.
Anna says: It feels to me that to create this change would be a miracle. The Council says: Yes, it is. It’s a wonderful miracle. And in the evaluators’ world they’ll create it where, perhaps they don’t pass you. But their world is completely different from your world. The people in your world will respond to you according to what you believe. The power here comes from your choice to believe, no matter how frightened you get. And when you get frightened, grab that thought, acknowledge it, and change it. Then you’ll create the miracle you’re looking for.
Anna says: But if I can create this miracle, am I going about it in the right way, or is there something else I can do? The Council says: We’re telling you to refocus. Don’t stay in the energy of fear or doubt, but be very aware of it, acknowledge it, and then change it. Focus your thoughts. Feel as if it already happened the way you want it to. The feeling is your magnet that will bring that response and create it in your life.
Anna asks: Did I attract this examiner’s behavior in my exam? The Council says: Of course. Part of the lessons you wanted to learn in this particular lifetime was being brave, being courageous, being independent, and being proud of yourself, which is a big lesson for you. All of this situation with your PhD certification has been created to give you the opportunity to change your thoughts, to experience life the way you want it, and to feel really good about yourself.
Anna asks: Am I attracting the delay in hearing my PhD results from them. The Council says: Again we say, of course, because you believe it. It’s on its way to you, you doubt it, and then everything stops and you’re delaying it. Stay with positive thoughts. The more you can do this, the more quickly your desires will come to you.
Anna asks: How does my dream and the tarot reading work in this situation? The Council says: It’s all showing you what you believe. What happens to you in any situation in your life is showing you what your belief is. That’s all it is. If you don’t like your dream or the tarot reading, start changing your thoughts and you’ll see the change you want in your life.
Anna asks: Are the dream and the tarot card reading just projections of how I’m feeling. The Council says: Of course. Anna continues: Or are they telling me what is now a set-in-stone outcome? The Council says: It’s not set in stone, but it’s telling you what you’re creating. With this knowledge you have the chance to change the outcome.
The Council says: We send you all blessings, love, happiness, peace, and the courage to look at who you really are, to want to know who you really are, and to experience who you really are. The way you do this is through the thoughts in your mind. Everything in your life is coming through your thoughts.

Hi, Anna. We’re so happy for you. Congratulations. We guess this shows how quickly things can move along once you start doing the inner work. We also hope your experience helps someone change the circumstances in their life to what they desire. Thanks for your appreciation.

Hi there Bob, Cynthia, & The Council. Thank you ever so much for this. I wanted you all to be the first to know that I… have just had my corrections approved… mere days after posting this & starting to ‘do the work’. Not in a million years did I expect them to come through so quickly – well, I didn’t expect them at all did I – yet here we are. Your words were a huge comfort to me & seemed to give me a foundation which I could use as a springboard for manifesting this, so thank you!
I am seeing the comment below and was also wondering about alternate realities, specifically the bit when the council say how in the examiners world they might not’ve passed me, but in my reality they do. Very interesting! I’ll be sure to look out for the reply.
In the meantime, I really hope my experience helps someone out there change the outcome of something that means the world to them, and huge thanks once again for your time, care, & support. Anna x

Hi, Anonymous. Interesting question. This post got us thinking about multiple realities, as well. We’ll ask The Council when we have time and we’ll post an audio recording of their response as soon as it’s ready. Thanks for your question. Love and light, Bob & Cynthia

Thank you so much to Anna for her bravery and for posting this question. I am also a PhD student, and this was a relief to hear!
I would like to ask a follow-up question, which is that, if you are searching for a piece of historical evidence in a primary source like a diary from someone in the past, will your desire to find that evidence create it? Does that mean you’re creating their past, too?
The Council said in Anna’s post that the examiners’ reality might be different from hers, which really sparked my curiosity. Would your belief in finding proof actually change someone else’s life, or would their reality just be a different reality?
Hearing this answer will give me some more confidence about my own thesis, but maybe it will also help Anna with her confidence about her dissertation and future research! Thank you!
