Are All Abortions Pre-planned in Spirit Before Birth?

This post is inspired by questions from a reader who goes by the name Mangojuice13, who previously asked questions about her abortion. Mangojuice13 points out in her current comment that in several of our posts The Council has said abortions are always pre-planned, but in a previous post answering Mangojuice13’s questions we wrote that all abortions aren’t pre-planned, and she asks us to explain this apparent discrepancy.

In our session to answer Mangojuice’s current questions The Council says when a woman becomes pregnant this is pre-planned and there are basically three options concerning abortion and it’s pre-planning in spirit. The first option is the desire to experience an abortion in this lifetime and The Council says this is definitely pre-planned in spirit. The second option is the desire to have the baby, in which case this is also pre-planned. The third option is to become pregnant, but to pre-plan the option to abort the child or have the child. In this case there is an agreement in spirit by all parties concerned to wait and see what the circumstances are at the time of the pregnancy and to make the decision at that time.

Mangojuice13 asks The Council if the soul of the child she aborted will return to her in a future pregnancy or will it be a different soul? And The Council says what they see is this soul moving on, and if there’s another pregnancy it will be a different soul.

Mangojuice13 asks The Council what the soul she aborted is currently doing. And The Council says going to school, planning another lifetime, and helping others in our lifetime. They say there are many things going on at one time for spirits in the spirit world.

Mangojuice13 asks The Council if her aborted child was going to be a male or a female? And The Council says there wasn’t a decision made by this soul regarding it’s gender. When Bob expressed confusion about this The Council said in this particular case the soul did not have plans to be borne and didn’t make the decision whether it would be a male or a female. They said usually the decision is made by three months into the pregnancy, but they have seen circumstances where this isn’t the case and they say it’s up to the soul that’s being born.

Lastly Mangojuice13 asks The Council how many children they see her having in this lifetime. And The Council says at this particular time they see one child, but they add that it’s possible for Mangojuice13, depending on her desire, to recreate this and have less or more children. Bob asks if there’s a preference for a male or female child and The Council says it seems like there’s a preference for a male at this time.

Listen to our entire 12-minute session with The Council (below) to hear all their guidance for Mangojuice13 and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.

  1. Hi Bob and Cynthia,
I am looking for some clarification regarding my own abortion. There is a long story to it as with all life decisions. We are in the process of recovering still. The abortion was two weeks ago. My husband and I made the decision together but I am just having some troubles internalizing peace. I understand much of what you have already said on the subject, I was just wondering if there was some clarification you could give me.

I have two young children already and my mother lives with us and she has mediocre health. Throughout both of my pregnancies and following I had pretty severe depression and I was worried it would come back. Now I am feeling depressed and unsure. My husband and I didn’t believe we were ready to take on another baby at the time. We are in the process of birth control but I don’t want to make a permanent decision because of the future idea of having a child when we are in a better place.
Thank you for all that you do.

  2. Hello Bob and Cynthia and The Council, I’ve enjoyed your blog for awhile now and I thank you for the work you do.

I’ve read almost all of your posts and noticed that many of these regard abortion. So I have a few questions.

What is the spiritual role of the abortion doctor and abortion clinic staff? It seems that many women are in great pain from the decision to abort (I’m guessing that many are not as well.) For women who regret their abortions, is this regret something that effects the abortion doctor/staff negatively?

What is the role of the protesters who picket outside of abortion clinics?

In countries such as El Salvador, abortion is illegal. I can only assume that some “back-alley” abortions are performed in these countries. Can The Council shed some light on this from a spiritual perspective?

If abortions were made illegal everywhere, what would happen?

Sorry, I know there are many questions here. Thank you for your wisdom.

    • Hi, Trying to Learn. We’re glad to hear you enjoy our blog and have read most of our posts. We’ll ask The Council your questions about their spiritual perspective on the abortion clinic staff and the other questions you asked, and post their response when it’s ready. Interesting questions. Thanks. Bob & Cynthia

  3. Hi Bob and Cynthia and The Council, I it’s Andrea again. I recently had a private reading with you which I really want to thank you for. In the reading, I was told that my abortion last summer was preplanned before my birth and that the spirit of the child was waiting to return. I also suffered a miscarriage. The Council said that the abortion was related to a past life where I died in an orphanage fire. I am struggling to understand the relationship between these events. I would think that I would want to have a child in this life and care for it rather than abort it. Especially since I initially wanted this child and the abortion was the result of distress. Why couldn’t I take care of myself and get what I needed during my pregnancy? Why did I fall apart and how does it relate to my past lives?

  5. Thank you for sharing this information. Can I please ask if this is also true for miscarriages [are they pre-planned]. I have had three miscarriages after having my first child yet I deeply want another healthy baby. Are there spiritual lessons we need to learn or am I only meant to have one baby in this lifetime? Love & Light. Tracey xx

    • Hi, Tracy. We’ll ask The Council about the pre-planning of miscarriages and under what circumstances you can have another child. Love Bob & Cynthia
