Was I Unloved When I Was Previously Aborted in Another Life?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Joni, who was told by her spiritual healer recently that her spirit was aborted by one mother before she came into her current lifetime with a different mother. Joni asks if she wasn’t loved in that lifetime where she was aborted.
The Council says your spirit wanted to experience the lesson of going through an abortion and so you agreed to this in spirit and pre-planned it. The reason you were aborted wasn’t because you were unloved, it was because the mother felt alone and couldn’t handle the stress of having a child at that time. You agreed to help the mother have this experience by being aborted, and then you’d go on to experience a life that you planned for yourself. (Our apologies for Bob mistakenly referring to Joni as Terri in this section of the recording.)
Joni asks if the abortion has anything to do with why she doesn’t feel a bond with her brothers and sister in her current lifetime. The Council says you’re experiencing this difficulty bonding with your brothers and sister because in another lifetime you had these same siblings, but a disease in that lifetime caused all of you to die early.
In your current lifetime you all agreed to come together again. Some of you are open to being together and some of you don’t want to feel a connection because there’s an unconscious fear of losing each other again. Search yourself to see if there’s an uncomfortable feeling that comes up. That would be from this other lifetime.
You’ve all chosen to be together again. Ask yourself how you’d like that experience to be and work towards that. A feeling of being cut off from each other is normal under the circumstances, but you’re all here to change that feeling. Let go of the fear of not being connected with your brothers and sister. Meditate and think of each of your siblings and know they’re souls you know from another time.

The Council
Cynthia is able to communicate with a group of five non-physical spirit guidesĀ in a manner similar to the way Esther Hicks communicates with and speaks for the spirit guides, Abraham, and Jane Roberts communicated and spoke for the spirit guide, Seth. I (Bob) basically interview The Council as they speak through Cynthia during what we refer to as a session. Sessions generally last 5-15 minutes and are usually audio recorded.Ā During the session Cynthia is aware of what The Council is saying and she also receives visual impressions and other types of telepathic communication from them.
The Council’s Basic Guidance
Since we began these sessions with The Council around 2009 they consistentlyĀ emphasize a few basic ideas that we attempt to summarize here:
1) You are an eternal spiritual being in a physical body.
You are the energy and vibration of continuously expanding love, intelligence, and joy.
Your physical experience in your physical body and your psychological experience of your personality is a small part of the totality of who you truly are.
Let yourself imagine from time to time what it might feel like to experience more of the wondrous totality of who you really are, and don’t be surprised if you are able to experience this more often.
2) You are the creator of all that you experience.
As you open to the possibility your true nature is greater than you ordinarily perceive, it becomes easier to consider the possibility that this expanded you is truly the creator of everything that you experience.
If you’re used to thinking of yourself in a more limited sense, the idea that you are the creator of your experience may be difficult to understand.Ā Our post, What About This Idea That We Create Whatever We Desire, offers insights into this idea.
3) You are here to expand the love you are into physical reality.
You chose, as a spiritual being, to come into this physical reality to experience the joy of expanding the love you are as a spiritual being, into this physical reality. This is your purpose for being here.
Finding Your Way Around the Blog
Home Page
The left-hand column on the Home page contain a long chronological series of posts with the most recent on top. Each post begins with a title. Clicking on a post title will take you to a blog page dedicated to that particular post. Following each post is a Like button where you can indicate to us and other readers if you like the post.
The footer section of each post identifies the date the post was published, the Categories the post has been assigned to, the keyword/keyphrase Tags assigned to the post, and a Comment link. Blog Features
The right-hand column of most blog pages contains this Welcome message. Below the Welcome message in the right-hand column are some useful features:

Search: Type a keyword or phrase and click the Search button to get a list of posts in the left column that contain the keyword or phrase.

Contact Us: The Contact Us page contains a contact form similar to the Comment form mentioned above. Always a thoughtful response, Bob and Cynthia. Another reason that legislators should keep their noses out of womenās reproductive rights to avoid messing with other peopleās soul journeys.
I do have a question. For some months now Iāve been dealing with hip pain that no amount of acupuncture, massage or chiropractic treatment has been able to fix other than temporarily. I feel like this stuck energy has something to do with my mother who is now in spirit. Any insight on how I can move this old energy out of my body and into the light? Many thanks for your thoughts on this.
