Am I Facing A Dark Night Of The Soul?
This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader.
Anonymous: Hello. Can The Council please let me know if I am facing a dark night of the soul? I’m misunderstood by a lot of people in my life, and it’s getting hard for me to continue with a lot of close relationships. I’m starting to lose trust and confidence, which is impacting my health a lot.
Following a fallout with my manager at work I have also faced a job loss recently, which has further amplified this health issue. Can The Council please guide me about how to come out of this despair, and if I have a past life history with my old manager?
Council: We would like to say here that if you were in this dark night of the soul, which is a very hard place to be, you wouldn’t be asking for our guidance because you wouldn’t be believing in anything. You’d be feeling completely alone. So the fact that you are asking shows that you know there is something more than you out there, but you don’t have a lot of patience to want to wait for it. It’s an uncomfortable feeling.
And so we would say when you have that feeling of this dark night, the best thing to do is to go into your heart chakra in your chest and build that up. Start filling it with green energy. Put this energy in your chest, down your arms, around the outside of your body, and just see the color green getting brighter, growing, going all the way down to your fingers and spurting out your fingers.
Work on the heart chakra. When that is getting the attention and the energy it needs, your thoughts, the way you feel, and what you experience in your life will change. It will get better. The heart chakra is very, very important. And so you can do the whole chakra meditation, or just for now work on the heart, but that will begin to lift your spirits.
Sometimes you can look for a little pinhead of light in the heart chakra, so it’s all green, but one little dot of white light. Watch it grow until it comes out of your body and all around you.
Bob: Any advice on a past life history with their old manager?
Council: Let’s see. You met in another life, very late in life. You took in a lot of homeless children, and it was hard, but you loved being of service. And it was almost like you had this life together, but you always felt you could do more and you didn’t, and it was very upsetting. And unfortunately when you left that reality, you weren’t happy with how you handled it, and you sort of blamed each other for holding each other back, or not doing things the right way.
And so in your current lifetime you wanted to see if you could work together, if you could take direction, if you can get along and make things happen, and really make things grow and advance in your careers. You wanted to get to a place where you could understand what each other wanted or needed, where in that other lifetime you didn’t. You just went around your business doing whatever you thought would work, but there wasn’t that togetherness. And so you wanted to come together again in this lifetime to see if that could happen.
Anonymous: I used to have a good relationship with this manager to begin with, and then it deteriorated very fast, which impacted my mental health a lot.
Council: So look at this relationship. What made it deteriorate? What sticks out for you?
Anonymous: I also have an on/off, mostly off, relationship with a husband who has an extreme ego. He misunderstands me, and justifies his bad actions with reasons that exist in his head, possibly influenced by my in-laws.
Council: It is influenced by – very interesting here – what you experienced in that past life with your boss. Not understanding exactly what you are experiencing with your husband, you wanted to experience this again to see how you could change it, how you could understand it, and how you can handle it. And so that problem with your husband is coming from a past life, and your desire to know how to change it. Can you do that?
Anonymous: It feels like I’m hitting a wall in all areas of my life. This hurts my child, as well. I’m trying to keep my thoughts positive, but it’s like fighting an internal battle every ten minutes and gets exhausting. Please guide me. Thanks a ton for the great work you guys do.
Council: Get into a place where you are willing to have this husband – where you see he wants his way, and does things his way, and it’s uncomfortable – get into a place where all you do is see it, and just think, let me flow with it. Let me have good thoughts, not want to change it, just have good thoughts and bring light to myself. And without bucking the problem and making it worse, not getting to a place where I must change this and I must change that, let me just watch it. Let me just flow with it, and I want peace, and I want things to work out. And just flowing with it, you will see how easily it comes.

How Can I Fix My Problems With My Teeth?
This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader in response to our post, How Can I Improve The Health Of My Teeth?
Anonymous: I know this is an old post, but I wanted to say that I tried being loving, and sending love, and being kind, and trying these things, and trying to do better at these things, but it still hasn’t helped my teeth.
Council: We would wonder at this point, so did you stop? You say you tried. There is no try. We believe it’s in a movie that’s in your reality. There is no try. You do, or you do not.
So are you still trying? If you try for a little while and then get discouraged because it doesn’t happen and you stop, do you think that’s going to push you forward? It is a mindset. It is a way that you convince yourself how you want to be, that your goal is you want to feel better and have fewer problems with your teeth.
So we would say it is still your turn, in this reality, to have good thoughts, to have good words, to think loving thoughts about the people around you, and to have happy thoughts. So we say to you, are you still doing this?
Anonymous: I know I have no desire to have these problems, or to have them so I can heal them, because I do not want them. My mental problems and teeth problems have ruined my life. I do not want them.
Council: And so we hear you say several times how you do not want them. That thought, saying those words, will not get your teeth problems to go away because you are thinking about something that you do not want.
It’s now time for you to focus and think about what you do want. How do you see yourself the way you want your life to be? Imagine it, feel it. That’s your purpose right now.
Anonymous: I’ve tried so many things and nothing works. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m sorry, but thank you for trying to help.
Council: We would say it’s not only very important about how you think, but also about what you say. And we’d like to put out there that a very good exercise for you right now is to start with smiling. Just smile. Ask yourself to smile many, many times a day. When you smile, your vibration changes. It becomes more positive.
And then after you smile, think of what you want. Say good words. Find something good to say about other people. Find something good to say about what’s happening to you. Those words come out of your mouth, and that energy will affect your teeth, your gums, your throat, and your mind.
And so it’s best for you at this time to keep doing the positive steps. And so right now, to make it easy for you, we ask that you smile. Take yourself to a mirror sometimes and smile. Get in the vibration of looking for good all around you.
And so there will be no more trying or not trying. You will do it. When you do it and you stick to it, you will see the change for the better.

The Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) From a Spiritual Perspective
Most of our posts offer advice and guidance from our spirit guides, The Council, on reader questions, but for this post The Council wanted to discuss the coronavirus disease because it’s on a lot of our minds and there’s so much fear and panic around it. The Council began our session by stating this fear and panic is not what this virus is about.
The Council says the main purpose of every soul on Earth is to bring the love that exists in spirit into our Earthly reality. Even though they’ve been telling us for many years that humans are very powerful creators that can create anything we desire when we focus on it, imagine it, and feel it, we don’t all believe that. So it was decided that different things like earthquakes and storms would happen on a global scale to try and wake up our individual souls and get them to help each other get to a better vibration. And this continued on a larger and larger scale.
The coronavirus has appeared in our reality and the way we can reduce the effect of it isn’t through fear, panic, and hoarding supplies. You reduce the effect of this virus by staying in the vibration of love. It’s everyone’s job to stay calm and lift your energy. How can you do this?
- Have good thoughts
- Have faith
- Pray
- Meditate
- See light around yourself, your home, and the planet
- Imagine beautiful light coming in bringing peace and love
- Think we are all here as souls to heal this planet
- Pull your mind away from fear
- Know you have the power to change the effects of this virus
When you’re home play games with your children and yourselves, read good books, watch positive TV programs, eat healthy foods. Play, laugh, and get out of the vibration of fear. Bring in beautiful light around this planet and think about how we can all change the effect of this virus. Every soul on Earth has chosen to be here at this time for this purpose. We can get through this virus quickly if everyone changes the focus of their thoughts to more loving ones.
Since we’ve all agreed in spirit to participate in this time with this virus, somewhere in your subconscious your soul knows about this situation. As you try the littlest bit to think more positive thoughts, things will begin to change. As you change your focus you’ll begin to see small things coming together and getting better by being helpful to each other. You’ll begin to feel how in control of this situation you really are. With all of us agreeing to this and focusing on love, happiness, joking, and playing, the whole planet will begin to change. Eventually there will be less disease of any kind, less cruelty, and fewer crimes. All of us wanted this huge jump in our reality and that’s why the virus is going on right now.
The purpose of staying away from crowds is to give you quiet time on your own in your homes to pray, to meditate, to think positive thoughts about how this virus will change. You must have the faith, the prayers, and the meditation time to raise your vibration. You have to be more positive. And as people change for the better you’ll all control how quickly the virus will recede.
The is no failure in facing this virus. There’s only the question of whether we’ll bring in as much love as we thought we would when we were in spirit. Death isn’t needed to change what’s going on right now. Come together in unity and love and the situation will change. Know your tools are your thoughts, your feelings, and your imagination. It’s your choice whether you focus these tools on wellness or on fear.
Don’t let the promise of a future vaccination for this virus take away from focusing on more loving thoughts, on unity, and helping each other. Shop reasonably. It’s good to be prepared, but to take massive supplies where you know you’re taking away from others is wrong thinking.
The shutting down of public places is good because it’ll give you more time to be home and visualize, pray, imagine, and feel the happiness of when the threat of this virus has passed. Be grateful for this feeling. And the more you can feel this the more quickly you’ll bring this in.
This virus has been on Earth before. It’s a stronger strain and we’ve created it to be stronger so we have to do the work to overcome it. We have to do the work of seeing how powerful we are. This is what we all wanted before we came into this reality. If we begin this work of knowing there’s a great power we are part of, the virus situation will change for the better. Come away from panic and fear. It doesn’t matter how we created the virus. What matters is why we created it, which was to take the higher vibration of love and bring it into this planet by loving and helping each other and raising our own vibrations.
The Council closes by reminding us all to practice raising our vibration. And they remind us that everyone in spirit is sending great love and strength to all of us who are courageous enough to be on this planet at this time and to be working to bring all this good energy into this reality.
