How Can I Find Out What Star Family I Come From?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Pedro. He says for the last few days I’m finding evidence I might be a Starseed. The Council says the time is right. If this evidence makes things clearer, then you’re ready to explore this. You’ve created doubt because you wanted to find a way to find the connection, not from someone pointing it out to you, but for you to discover this connection on your own.
Pedro says, I’d like The Council to tell me what I have to do to be completely clear about my origins, which constellation I came from, and how I can keep in contact with my star family. The Council says the easiest way to begin this project is to do lots of research. On the internet you can read about different star systems and constellations. You can also read books. Keep reading until you feel a connection to something. You’ll be drawn to the constellation and your star family. Discover how the entities lived in each star system, what they’re doing now, and what they can offer you. Does it feel familiar? Does it make you feel a connection?
Visit museums and planetariums. Do whatever you can to bring this thought of your origins and your star family to your seventh chakra where your purpose in life resides. You’ll see why you’re here and why you want to discover this now. The best way to do this is through meditation. If you don’t meditate, then before you go to bed you can ask for dreams and you can imagine what it would be like to understand where you came from and what it’s like to connect with your star family.
There are sights on the internet that have characteristics of each star system and why they’re here now. See if you fit any of these descriptions. The wonderful thing about this is that you’re doing it in a way that you’ll discover it so there won’t be any doubts. That’s what this life is about for you. You wanted to discover answers. You wanted to go forward. And you wanted to know the way to do this. That’s what’s coming up for you now.
Pedro says, My spiritual journey is only the beginning. I don’t have any spiritual practices. I don’t know how to meditate, and I fear being caught in deceiving traps by evil spirits while meditating or trying to channel, since this almost happened to me before. The Council asks, Why do you feel you can be trapped by evil spirits? This won’t happen unless you create it, unless you focus on it, unless you have such a fear about it that you won’t learn to meditate, you won’t allow yourself to learn about energy, spirits, or guides who will come in and work with you. Anyone who meditates, or wants to go beyond this dimension to find answers, always surround yourself with the beautiful white light and there will be no need to worry about evil spirits.
We enjoyed these questions and we wish everyone joy on their path. All the answers you’re looking for are within you. It’s important to trust and believe in yourself. Know that you are spirits that have had many lifetimes, that have lived in many dimensions, and in many areas that aren’t in your reality. When you begin to ask the questions, you’ll find the answers. You’ll remember past lives here, past lives in other star systems, and past lives that take you in between your realities.
There’s so much out there. It’s important for you to remember first and foremost to start believing you are more than your human body that you’re traveling around in. You are a spirit with great power. You’re the creator of your reality. Nothing is beyond your reach. Focus on who you truly are. Visualize what you’d look like as a spirit, and feel that. Feel your heart when you visualize this and all the connections, all the help you need, and all the growth and expansion you need will come.

Am I On Earth Longer Than Expected to Help With the Dimensional Shift?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Marie, who read our post, Is My Son a Starseed? She says The Council’s answer is a great explanation of the Starseed concept we hear so much about. I’m glad you mention it’s not just for people born after a certain time. I’m 67 years old, but my awakening has been taking place over the last 10 years.
The Council says it’s wonderful that you believe this without blindly following rules and timelines that are made up about when these Starseeds should come into this reality. There were many Starseeds here on Earth throughout its existence before anyone knew about these people.
Marie asks if it’s possible that some of us contracted to live on Earth for a shorter period of time in order to help with a dimensional shift, but because it’s taking longer than expected we are here longer? The Council agrees the dimensional shift is taking much longer than most people expected, but you contracted to come into this reality while this shift of enlightenment is taking place and there wasn’t any time limit, and this is fine.
Many spirits that came to Earth thinking it would be fun to come here and help prepare for this shift in awareness always knew the planet as a whole would advance when it’s ready. When we’re in spirit we think we can handle this shift and get it done, but as our reality develops it becomes more interesting and other things come into play. Some spirits have decided to stay and help with this shift. Others have decided they were here for part of this shift in awareness that is happening, we’ll go back to spirit, and then come back to Earth at a future date.
The Council says the amount of time Marie contracted to be here on Earth has to do with what that personality is experiencing as a human being in this lifetime. It’s more than what the Starseed part of her recognizes she planned to do. Part of the Starseed knows it’s coming to Earth and it will open up and remember its mission. But before that can happen this Starseed is living a human day-to-day life and there are other factors that determine how long you’ll stay on Earth. Did you accomplish what you wanted in this reality as a human being? There are many different ways to look at this.
Marie contracted to come to Earth to help with this dimensional shift, but as a human being, she is also here to learn there are day-to-day issues, other lessons, challenges, and happiness that she wanted to experience. The Council repeats that they don’t see Marie contracted to be on Earth for a shorter period of time to help with the dimensional shift, and she’s not here longer because this shift is taking longer.
The Council closes by thanking Cynthia and Bob for our ability to take their information and have so many people be open to it, and get understanding from it, and get relief from what another spirit has gone through.

Is My Son a Starseed?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, SeekingGuidance, who wants to know if her son is a Starseed. He’s amazingly wise and kind for his age and asks questions that are so profound. I’m sure he’s like an old soul who’s come to share his wisdom. If he’s a Starseed, what are his gifts and how can I help him enhance them?
The Council says they wonder if many of us truly know what a Starseed is. There are children who’ve come into our reality known as indigo children. There are also crystal children and rainbow children, and they’re all Starseeds. If you seriously think about this, we’re all Starseeds because we’ve all lived among the stars in different dimensions many times.
The purpose of the Starseeds you’re asking about is to come into this reality not knowing their mission until it’s needed. Then the memory of this mission will awaken them and they’ll know how to handle it.
Starseeds are in all parts of our reality. They are the many souls who’ve come in knowing there’s something better they need to aspire to. They’re here to focus on the light and bring it into the Earth.
Starseeds need to learn about history and figure out where the human condition on this planet is at this time. They usually have the feeling they don’t belong on Earth. They’re not always comfortable in groups.
You should teach these Starseed children about the planets. Take them to the planetarium. Let them see movies about different planets and entities that have come to Earth. This will resonate with them. When they feel troubled it’s good for Starseeds to know about the planets. It’s good for them to focus on something other than what they’re doing here right now.
There’s a sense of needing to do something, but not knowing what to do, and this is very frustrating. The Starseed children that are here now are waiting to act according to what’s created on a mass level in this reality.
Both you and your son have been in many different situations and you’ve come back and forth from different lives on different planets. Each time you come into this reality you’re supposed to share what you know about energy, about possible life beyond this planet, and to expand the knowledge that there’s more than just this reality.
The purpose for your son and you isn’t known yet. Be of the light and positive thinking. Research about space. It’s wonderful if you’re living in an area where you can use a telescope. This is comforting and a great interest to the children who are on Earth and very young.
Starseeds will be interested in history. Many will go into teaching. They want to know everything happening on this planet, where we’ve come from, and how we’ve evolved. Starseeds will also be good at lecturing. Your son will be able to talk to large groups about peace and about expanding yourself with your thoughts and beliefs.
Research history. Make a game out of it. If you were talking about Columbus, ask Starseed children to draw a picture of him. Ask the child what he imagines they were thinking and doing. How did they get to where they were going? Did they follow the stars? Let the child use his brain to come up with a story of things that went on in different parts of your planet’s history. This will expand his understanding and bring in more information.
In dreams and imagination the child will touch on things they remember from another time, but it’ll seem like it’s coming from their imagination. This will connect the child to the energy of why you’re here on Earth and that there’s a bigger cause for you to belong to. There’s a greater challenge during this time, even if it’s only to teach people to get along and be peaceful.
Starseeds are souls who’ve gone back and forth from this Earth experience at different times in history, to living in space and then coming back to the Earth with more knowledge and a purpose.
Always keep the environment of peace in your home, where you work, in school, or wherever you are. This is very important.

Feeling Like I Want to Go Home, Even When I Am Home
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader who goes by the name, SoulPeace, who asks about their feelings of home. SoulPeace says a lot of times they feel like they want to go back home even when they are already home. They also feel like they don’t belong where they’re at a lot of the time.
The Council says the feeling of wanting to go home is the feeling of wanting to experience what you are when you are truly home in spirit, which is the vibration of love. Many people have the feeling of wanting to go home, and this isn’t in the physical sense of where they live. It’s the feeling of wanting to go home to other lifetimes where there was more joy. It’s also a feeling of your soul wanting to experience the feeling of what it’s like when you’re home in spirit. Do more loving things for others around you and for yourself to help with this feeling. Find a way to create loving thoughts, loving actions, and loving words.
Another part of you would like to go home to a different galaxy. The Council sees you’ve had one or more lives on the constellation, Sirius, and they suggest you read about Sirius. Be around water, whether a lake or a ocean. Have pictures of great bodies of water and dolphins around you. This is what you experienced in your Sirian life.
When you experience this natural longing to go back to a life on Sirius, with this thought you can begin to create a life on Sirius that you’ll be able to live in what you think of as a future lifetime. Learn everything you can about the Sirian people who are here on Earth in large numbers. The are great teachers who bring the experience of hope and love to other people. The Council adds that they believe SoulPeace will find happiness when the do this.
Visit a planetarium and perhaps get a telescope. Go out into the country where the sky is dark and you can see many stars. You’ll feel a connection to these places and you’ll feel lots of love and happiness when you realize you are a star child, also known as a star seed. Ask for dreams of these places and meditate on them and this will also bring you a lot of happiness.
SoulPeace asks if this feeling of going home and the lack of belongingness is connected to the Pleiades star system and their life there? If it does, can I do anything to contact my family there? The Council says there was also a lifetime in the Pleiades. Read about the different stars and planets and you’ll find comfort in this.
SoulPeace asks The Council their (SoulPeace’s) purpose in life and says if they do what they’re meant to be doing perhaps the intensity of this feeling of wanting to be home will reduce. The Council says it’s not so much in doing, but in discovering for SoulPeace. Discover reading about other planets and other lives. Discover the stars. Go to a planetarium to learn about the stars. Learn about the knowledge we have of other star systems and of lives on other planets. Comfort will come from this. This is part of SoulPeace’s purpose in this lifetime.

The Council
Cynthia is able to communicate with a group of five non-physical spirit guides in a manner similar to the way Esther Hicks communicates with and speaks for the spirit guides, Abraham, and Jane Roberts communicated and spoke for the spirit guide, Seth. I (Bob) basically interview The Council as they speak through Cynthia during what we refer to as a session. Sessions generally last 5-15 minutes and are usually audio recorded. During the session Cynthia is aware of what The Council is saying and she also receives visual impressions and other types of telepathic communication from them.
The Council’s Basic Guidance
Since we began these sessions with The Council around 2009 they consistently emphasize a few basic ideas that we attempt to summarize here:
1) You are an eternal spiritual being in a physical body.
You are the energy and vibration of continuously expanding love, intelligence, and joy.
Your physical experience in your physical body and your psychological experience of your personality is a small part of the totality of who you truly are.
Let yourself imagine from time to time what it might feel like to experience more of the wondrous totality of who you really are, and don’t be surprised if you are able to experience this more often.
2) You are the creator of all that you experience.
As you open to the possibility your true nature is greater than you ordinarily perceive, it becomes easier to consider the possibility that this expanded you is truly the creator of everything that you experience.
If you’re used to thinking of yourself in a more limited sense, the idea that you are the creator of your experience may be difficult to understand. Our post, What About This Idea That We Create Whatever We Desire, offers insights into this idea.
3) You are here to expand the love you are into physical reality.
You chose, as a spiritual being, to come into this physical reality to experience the joy of expanding the love you are as a spiritual being, into this physical reality. This is your purpose for being here.
Finding Your Way Around the Blog
Home Page
The left-hand column on the Home page contain a long chronological series of posts with the most recent on top. Each post begins with a title. Clicking on a post title will take you to a blog page dedicated to that particular post. Following each post is a Like button where you can indicate to us and other readers if you like the post.
The footer section of each post identifies the date the post was published, the Categories the post has been assigned to, the keyword/keyphrase Tags assigned to the post, and a Comment link.
