Please Help Me with the Ringing in My Ears

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Michaela, who says she has unbearable tinnitus (ringing in the ears). It’s making me more and more hopeless and scared. I’d appreciate any guidance or clarity you can give me.

The Council says many people in your reality who suffer from tinnitus have gone through a war in a previous life where there were lots of cannons, gunfire, and explosions. These people pass from that physical reality back into spirit and this was the last noise they heard.

Because this passing was so frightening, these people wanted to heal that part of themselves that held onto this fear. They didn’t want to bring in more explosions into this life so they brought in the feeling of losing hearing of the loud noises, which were confusing and left you not knowing what to do or what was happening. When you bring these past lives of war into your current life, it creates a ringing in the ears, but it’s not from a physical condition.

In your physical condition the part of the body that handles every emotion you feel is the temporomandibular joint in your jaw. Every emotion goes through that part of your physical body. When your temporomandibular joint is overwhelmed, it creates a ringing in the ears. Stress and subconscious memories will bring this on.

There are methods that will help reduce the tinnitus, like chiropractic adjustments, massage, craniosacral work, and energy work. Knowing where the tinnitus is coming from will help, but controlling your emotions does the trick. You may think you’re not nervous in your current lifetime, but the tinnitus isn’t from your current lifetime. You bring it into your current life from your past lives in order to heal the fear.

Meditation will help reduce tinnitus because it will calm down your body. Knowing the tinnitus comes from another lifetime will help you have more control over it. Some people also will benefit from therapy if they’re going through a very stressful time and are having difficulty handling their tinnitus.

Doing things to help reduce the ringing in the ears like massage and chiropractic adjustments is good, but it’s also important to have positive thoughts. Bring these positive thoughts into your reality every day. Do things that make you feel good. As you begin to calm down, the reality you’ve created will begin to let go of this ringing in the ears.

The Council says some people have tried many things to reduce their ringing in the ears, but it doesn’t work. Go into calming down your emotions, think positively, and bring more joy into your life. This will reduce the effects of tinnitus until it disappears. Know the tinnitus is not from your current life and that you brought it into your current life to experience the fear and then change it to something that feels better. You wanted to feel the fear and know you have the power to change it. Know you are spirit and can let go of this tinnitus. You can also self-massage the areas on the sides of your jaw and this will also ease the ringing in your ears.

How Can I Deal with these High-pitched Tones in My Ears?

This post answers a question for The Council from a reader named, Jay, who says he’s struggling with bouts of debilitating tinnitus (ringing in the ears) that he’s been unable to solve himself. I’m a person who can appreciate silence, but there’s no silence in my experience now – just high-pitched feedback-like tones. When I have these episodes it’s so distracting that I feel unable to use my brain. How can I address this problem? It’s wearing me out emotionally and leaving me feeling hopeless.

The Council sees that Jay has created this tinnitus, not as a distraction, but as something to tune you in to your inner voice, to guidance, and to connecting to spirit. You haven’t spent enough time meditating or sitting silently and patiently asking questions and listening for answers. This tinnitus was created by you to bring your attention to sound and hearing.

When you do have these tinnitus attacks, sit for a short period of time and listen to the tone. Imagine walking into it and through it. What do you see? What do you hear?

When you’re able to experience silence The Council asks you to meditate, to picture any sort of colors in your mind’s eye, then go back to listening. Begin by listening to tones, and then it will turn into words, and you can think of questions, and just listen. This tinnitus is your way of stopping yourself from everyday life so you can give time and attention to this problem of not tuning into your inner voice.

When you can go into this silence we see this will last longer and longer because you’re fulfilling what you’ve created to help you get to a higher vibration, which also causes this sound in your ears. This is the way your higher self has stopped you so you can begin to listen and not run away from these sounds. Listen and work with these sounds while it leads you on a path that connects you to your higher self.

We realize it’s difficult to listen to these sounds and you feel like you want to escape them, but they can’t hurt you. For a short period, even if it’s only a minute, listen to these sounds and imagine they have a color. Imagine walking into a room that’s filled with this color and the sound you hear until you no longer feel you need to escape. The more you can do this the sounds will change. It will change your vibration and you’ll connect to your higher self and your spirit guides.

When you don’t hear these sounds and there’s quiet, take five minutes if you can to sit and appreciate the silence. Go into the silence. Create another room. What color is in the room with silence in it? Go into it and listen. When you’re comfortable, ask questions. Don’t be afraid to listen. The more you listen, the answers to your questions will come to you.

This will take time. Persevere.

Is Ringing in the Ears an Indication of Ascention Symptoms?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Marie, who says ringing in the ears has been reported by many people as a symptom of what’s been called ascension syndrome.

The Council says not all people who experience ringing in the ears are experiencing ascension syndrome. Some people bring ringing in the ears in from a past life to learn from this and it’s apparently unrelated to ascension syndrome. Some people experience ringing in the ears because there’s a problem with the ears, the temporomandibular joint, or the neck. Some people experience ringing in the ears from tension.

Marie asks if it’s common for many people to experience ascension symptoms. The Council says some are having these symptoms and it’s because the body is starting to vibrate at a higher level and the body needs to attune to these energy changes, which can create multiple symptoms. Some are able to ascend without experiencing any of these symptoms.

Marie asks if lightworkers and empaths are the most susceptible to ascension symptoms. The Council says everyone is susceptible to these symptoms. Some people desire to experience them. If you have them, how does it make you feel? Are you excited? Does it make you feel happy you’re ascending to another level? Do you find it annoying? Is it frightening because you don’t know what’s going on? Each person that calls ascension symptoms into their life does it for different reasons. Many ascend very high in this lifetime and they don’t experience any symptoms at all.

Marie closes by asking if The Council would classify her as an empath? The Council says Marie has pre-planned to come into this life to understand others, what they go through, and what they feel. Pay attention to this. Empaths feel how others feel. Empaths have problems being around lots of people at one time. Empaths tend to be introverted rather than extroverted. Because you planned to come in and talk with people and really understand and feel what they’re saying, you are an empath.
