What About My Relationship With A Woman I Met On Instagram?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Harmony, who says they just met a girl on Instagram a few days ago. I only sent her a few messages, but I felt love for her.
The Council says this is a recognition, but it’s also your heart that’s searching for someone to love. Connecting with this woman is making you wonder if this is the person for me? Will this bring love? And we say, yes, it has already because you feel the connection.
Harmony says, I just met her and we haven’t really spoken, but I haven’t felt this feeling for someone special for a very long time. I’m grateful for these feelings, but I’m curious why I’m having them when we just met?
The Council says it’s similar to when two people went to school together in first grade and now you’re in college and you’ve found each other again and you recognize each other. That’s what brings this loving feeling. When you recognize each other, what automatically comes up is the question, now what do we do? What direction do we go in? Just relax and feel this familiar feeling. If you bring out feelings of love, warmth, and connection, then enjoy that for right now because that’s what this is.
Harmony asks if she knew this woman in past lives. The Council sees a life as Native Americans who were able to connect with nature and get information intuitively from the spirits of trees, water, and mountains. That’s why you have an intuitive recognition of a connection with this woman. It’s a recognition you brought from another time into your current reality.
Harmony asks if this is a romantic relationship I should pursue? The Council says, yes, there’s a possibility of a romance and it’s the way you wish to create it. Work on your relationship with this woman and do the inner work of thinking about how you want it to be and create from there.
Harmony changes the direction of her questions here and asks, what is my life purpose? The Council says it’s the same as everyone else. Your purpose was to come here and bring as much love as you could from the spirit world into this world. You wanted to run around, have fun and experiences, and enjoy the good times. The challenges you create, you created them so you could change them.
There isn’t any one specific purpose in your life. Sometimes you just want to get here and see what you can do. You want to have fun with your life. In spirit we know that no matter what we experience, everything will be all right. Let me have the experience. Let me see how I handle it. Let me see what I learn from it.
It would be good for you to read books on healing. Hands Of Light, by Barbara Brennan, would be good. Any healing classes you can find during the COVID crises would also be good to take. Work with energy. Work with crystals. Work with plants and trees around where you live. Grow some plants, bring them into the house, and connect with them. Meditate in a room where you have plants. This will bring you more and more into the healing you wish to experience in this lifetime.

How Can I Heal My Anxiety and Move Forward with My Life? (Breathing Exercise for Healing 7 Chakras Within Each Chakra)
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Wendy, who says she’s lived with debilitating anxiety and a fear of illness and death for as long as she can remember, and she’s looking for some clarity. It also presents a new chakra breathing exercise at the end that features the clearing and balancing of each chakra on seven levels by working on the seven chakras that exist within each chakra.
The Council says in several past lifetimes Wendy transitioned at a very young age and this is on your mind for your current life. You’re afraid you’ll transition early again and The Council tells Wendy this isn’t what she planned for this lifetime.
It’s good to face your fear and know it comes from past lives. You can go to a past life regressionist if you feel this will be helpful. Once you know where the fear comes from you’ll be able to let go of it.
Wendy says she has lots of physical symptoms she deals with on an almost daily basis and she feels like her nervous system is shot. I get shaky, palpitations, headaches, nauseous, and exhausted. I often get feverish and achy. I miss my vitality and excitement for living. I’m in the process of bringing a long-time vision to fruition and I’m scared I won’t be able to accomplish my goals because I always feel “off”.
The Council says you’ll accomplish these goals when your thoughts change from the anxiety and fear from past lives, to having the idea you can accomplish your goals this lifetime. It was planed by you that you would.
It’s important to read anything you can on past lives to understand you’ll feel sick, anxious, have the shakes, depression, and worry, and it’s all from your fears from past lives. You can change this around.
When you learn about the body and its energy systems that you can change, there is a very good chakra breathing exercise for you to do. There are seven main chakras or energy centers that have been created for everyone in your reality. Each of these chakras has seven more chakras inside it and you need to heal each chakra on all seven levels. Below you’ll find a step-by-step chakra breathing exercise to balance and align each of your seven chakras and the seven chakras within each chakra.
Wendy says she’s tired of feeling this way and she wonders if she’s signed up for a lifetime of feeling or being unwell. The Council says you’ve signed up for a lifetime of experience and then finding the way to heal these experiences and creating the miracle you’re looking for.
The Council suggests Wendy read Hands Of Light, by Barbara Brennan.
The Council closes by saying with practice, as you start to follow our guidance and know that you’re healing on such a deep level your current life and your past lives, the entire energy system within you will change. You wanted to see what you could accomplish by healing yourself.
Chakra Breathing Exercise
First Chakra
To balance and align your first chakra, located at the base of your spine (groin area), imagine a clear box in front of you. Now imagine filling this box with the color red. With a single inbreath through your mouth breathe in the red color from this box down to your toes and up to the top of your head. Now exhale this red color out through your mouth, back into the box, and then breathe normally.
When you finish this, stay in the first chakra and repeat this procedure for the second chakra that exists within your first chakra. Then you repeat this procedure for the third, fourth, fifth, six, and seventh chakras located within your first chakra. When this is done imagine the red color leaving the box so the box is clear again, and then imagine the clear box disappearing. Your first chakra is now aligned and balanced on all seven levels.
Move your awareness up to your second chakra.
Second Chakra
To balance and align your second chakra, located two inches below your navel along your spine, imagine a clear pyramid, but without its top or capstone. Now imagine filling this clear pyramid with the color orange. With a single inbreath through your mouth breathe the orange color out of the pyramid, down to your toes, and up to the top of your head. Now exhale the orange energy through your mouth, back into the pyramid, and then breathe normally.
Remain in your second chakra and repeat this procedure for the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh chakras, and then the first chakra. Then imagine the orange color leaving the pyramid so the pyramid is clear again, then watch the clear pyramid disappear. Your second chakra is now aligned and balanced on all seven levels.
Move your awareness up to your third chakra.
Third Chakra
To balance and align your third chakra, located just beneath your breast bone along your spine, imagine a three dimensional clear plus sign in front of you. Imagine filling this clear plus sign with the color yellow. With a single inbreath through your mouth breathe the yellow color out of this plus sign, down to your toes, and up to the top of your head. Now breathe the orange energy out through your mouth, back into the plus sign, and then breathe normally.
Remain in your third chakra and repeat this procedure for the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh chakras, and then the first and second chakras. Then imagine the yellow color leaving the plus sign so the plus sign is clear again, and then imagine the clear plus sign disappearing. Your third chakra is now aligned and balanced on all seven levels.
Move your awareness up to your fourth chakra.
Fourth Chakra
To balance and align your fourth chakra, located at the level of your heart along your spine, imagine a clear circle in front of you. Now imagine filling this clear circle with the color green. With a single inbreath through your mouth breathe the green color out of the circle, down to your toes, and up to the top of your head. Now exhale this green energy out through your mouth, back into the circle, and then breathe normally.
Remain in your fourth chakra and repeat this procedure for the fifth, sixth, and seventh chakras, and then the first, second, and third chakra. Then imagine the green color leaving the circle so that the circle is clear again, and then imagine the clear circle disappearing. Your fourth chakra is now be aligned and balanced on all seven levels.
Move your awareness up to your fifth chakra.
Fifth Chakra
To balance and align your fifth chakra, located in the middle of the throat, imagine in front of you a clear chalice or wine glass with a cross located in the stem. Now imagine filling this clear chalice with the color sky blue. With a single inbreath through your mouth breathe the sky blue color out of this chalice, down to your toes, and up to the top of your head. Breathe the sky blue energy out through your mouth, back into the chalice, and then breathe normally.
Remain in your fifth chakra and repeat this procedure for the sixth and seventh chakras, and then the first, second, third, and fourth chakras. Then imagine the sky blue color leaving the chalice so the chalice is clear again, and then imagine the clear chalice disappearing. Your fifth chakra is now be aligned and balanced on all seven levels.
Move your awareness up to your sixth chakra.
Sixth Chakra
To balance and align your sixth chakra, located between and slightly above your eyebrows, imagine a clear Star of David in front of you. Now imagine filling this Star of David with the color indigo or dark blue. With a single inbreath through your mouth breathe the indigo color out of this Star, down to your toes, and up to the top of your head. Exhale this indigo energy out through your mouth, back into the Star of David, and then breathe normally.
Remain in your sixth chakra and repeat this breathing exercise for the seventh chakra and then the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth chakras. Then imagine the indigo color leaving the Star of David so that the Star is clear again, and then imagine the clear Star of David disappearing. Your sixth chakra is now aligned and balanced on all seven levels.
Move your awareness up to your seventh chakra.
Seventh Chakra
To balance and align your seventh chakra, located at the top of the head, imagine a clear lotus flower in front of you. Now imagine filling this lotus flower with the color purple. With a single inbreath through your mouth breathe the purple color out of this lotus flower, down to your toes, and up to the top of your head. Exhale this purple energy through your mouth, back into the lotus flower, and then breathe normally.
Remain in your seventh chakra and repeat this breathing exercise for your first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth chakras. Then imagine the purple color leaving the lotus flower so that it’s clear again, and then imagine the clear lotus flower disappearing. Your seventh chakra is now aligned and balanced on all seven levels.
You’ll complete this exercise by thinking of placing white light all around you. You’ll be healing your mind, your emotions, and your body on seven levels and you’ll begin to see a change. Do this exercise every third day.

How Can I Move Forward as a Healer?
This post answers a question from a reader named, Christine, who says I know I’m here on Earth to be a healer in some capacity, but I’m 52 years old and I’m still having difficulty getting started. I’m a qualified Flower Essence Practitioner, but I lack confidence in my abilities and don’t know how to get past why I’m holding back.
The Council tells Christine she’s been a healer in other lifetimes. They advise her to advance her healing skill by learning many other healing modalities. Sit and listen to what people have to say. Have some sort of counseling, which you don’t need a degree for. Just come from your heart.
Learn healing modalities with your hands using energy. You’ve done this before in other lifetimes. You were involved with natural medicine using plants around the 1400s. Learn about energy work. All of these modalities will come together and you’ll be able to move forward with your healing work. It’s good for you to learn about the chakras. Don’t just stay with the flower essences. Read books and open up to other healing modalities. There’s a book by the author, Barbara Brennan, called Hands of Light that we recommend you read.

Why Did I Cry at the Navajo Spirit Healer Ceremony in Sedona?
This post answers questions by someone who goes by the name, Vibrationally Aware, who asks The Council about a very nice experience they attracted into their life when they hiked to the top of Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona (USA) and discovered a Navajo spirit healer performing a ceremony. Vibrationally Aware was so moved by the healer’s singing that they became overwhelmed with emotion and began to cry.
The Council says it’s a wonderful thing when you can experience something that lifts your energy like that. You feel so much emotion because you let this experience into your reality to help you physically and mentally. It’s a great joy when you can arrive at this point, which is where a lot of new changes in your life can occur.
Vibrationally Aware asks The Council why they cried during the ceremony? Sometimes there’s crying and sometimes there’s laughing. They ask Vibrationally Aware to remember the feeling they had of the ceremony. The crying comes from the part of you that’s so happy and recognizes a great healing or a great connection has occurred. Sometimes you cry because you remember who you truly are as a spiritual being. It’s absolutely wonderful that you cried.
The Council says there’s no difference between laughing and crying in this situation. It’s just how the body chooses to express itself. It releases negative energy, it reaches out and remembers that there’s only good and we’re only whole, and all is well.
Vibrationally Aware asks The Council if vortexes are real and The Council says they are real. Sometimes our body gets to experience itself as a vortex. Whether you’re in a place on the planet where there’s a vortex or you’re sitting in your living room, when you open up to this beautiful energy where you’re able to call in many wonderful things, this is a vortex. A vortex is you opening up part of yourself to bring in higher vibrational energy.
The Council advises, if possible, to experience one or two more ceremonies with this spiritual healer. Each time you experience it you’ll hold onto more of this great healing energy. If this isn’t available, what’s needed is time to sit quietly and call in this energy yourself. And The Council says you’ll recognize this energy because you’ll remember what it feels like. Once you’ve had this experience you can create it again for yourself.
The Council repeats that what’s necessary now is to remember the feeling of this ceremony, but at some point it will be good to read, Hands of Light, by Barbara Brennan, which they say is one of the best books on energy.
The Council says when you come into this lifetime, aside from the #1 motivation to bring love into this reality, you want to remember who you are as a spiritual being and have the experience of being the creator of your life. You’ve created this wonderful experience with the spiritual healer. What comes next is for you to see that no one else is needed for you to create this feeling again.

How Do I Interpret My Recent Dreams and Enhance My Psychic Gifts?
This post answers questions by a reader who goes by the name, SoulSeekingPeace, who asks The Council to interpret a dream they had where a wolf wants to get into their house, but SoulSeekingPeace is afraid and the wolf runs away. The Council says the wolf represents the teacher, and their higher self has sent this dream to open new doors and to teach them new ways.
A couple days later SoulSeekingPeace had another dream where they heard the words, “Everything is energy.” The Council says this voice and the wolf from their previous dream is to help SoulSeekingPeace become aware of energy by hearing it, feel it, and possibly even tasting it.
Even though SoulSeekingPeace hasn’t mentioned anything in their Comment about hands on healing, which The Council says is there for them if they think they’d like that, The Council suggests they read the book, Hands of Light, by Barbara Brennan. If they read this book it can put them more in touch with how energy works, how they can see and feel it, and this book will help to bring SoulSeekingPeace along their path.
SoulSeekingPeace asks what they should do to get rid of the fear they have of energy and psychic knowledge they feel coming from other lifetimes? The Council says these fears usually means that in a past life you misused these gifts in some way. You regretted this misuse and wish to have another chance in your current lifetime to work with energy and psychic knowledge in a positive way.
The Council advises SoulSeekingPeace to learn as much as they can about the chakras and experience different types of energy healing until you can feel what you’re drawn to. They specifically mention Polarity, Reiki, Reconnection, and Acupuncture as a starting point.
SoulSeekingPeace says they think they’re telepathic and empathic, and The Council says these gifts are definitely there. As you progress along the path The Council recommends, you’ll see how you’re able to pick up other people’s energy, which you’re already able to do to some extent. And you’ll become more psychic with meditation.
They suggest learning the meditation taught by the famous psychic, Edgar Cayce, with the Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE). It would be good to join the ARE and search their records on energy, healing, and almost any subject you can think of. This is how you can advance in your psychic work in a positive way. This is happening in your life right now because you’re ready to experience this.

Since the blog is currently a project we do in our spare time it can take a while for us to do a session with The Council on a question and then publish a post on the session. Depending on the question and the session it can sometimes take weeks after a question is asked to publish a post with The Council’s answer. Please be patient.
The Council
Cynthia is able to communicate with a group of five non-physical spirit guides in a manner similar to the way Esther Hicks communicates with and speaks for the spirit guides, Abraham, and Jane Roberts communicated and spoke for the spirit guide, Seth. I (Bob) basically interview The Council as they speak through Cynthia during what we refer to as a session. Sessions generally last 5-15 minutes and are usually audio recorded. During the session Cynthia is aware of what The Council is saying and she also receives visual impressions and other types of telepathic communication from them.
The Council’s Basic Guidance
Since we began these sessions with The Council around 2009 they consistently emphasize a few basic ideas that we attempt to summarize here:
1) You are an eternal spiritual being in a physical body.
You are the energy and vibration of continuously expanding love, intelligence, and joy.
Your physical experience in your physical body and your psychological experience of your personality is a small part of the totality of who you truly are.
Let yourself imagine from time to time what it might feel like to experience more of the wondrous totality of who you really are, and don’t be surprised if you are able to experience this more often.
2) You are the creator of all that you experience.
As you open to the possibility your true nature is greater than you ordinarily perceive, it becomes easier to consider the possibility that this expanded you is truly the creator of everything that you experience.
If you’re used to thinking of yourself in a more limited sense, the idea that you are the creator of your experience may be difficult to understand. Our post, What About This Idea That We Create Whatever We Desire, offers insights into this idea.
3) You are here to expand the love you are into physical reality.
You chose, as a spiritual being, to come into this physical reality to experience the joy of expanding the love you are as a spiritual being, into this physical reality. This is your purpose for being here.

Home Page
The left-hand column on the Home page contain a long chronological series of posts with the most recent on top. Each post begins with a title.
