What will you ask Spirit?

Who Do I Address a New Soul Contract To?

This post answers a question for The Council from a reader named, Brenda, who wants to write a new soul contract and asks who she should address it to. She says she doesn’t know how to start writing it, how to word the contents, and she’d really like some help.

The Council says a soul contract written by a human is really a letter to your higher self to help you decide what you want to experience in your lifetime. And if you’re able to go into great detail in your contract it can also describe how you want to experience it.

The Council says if Brenda would like a sense of humor about her soul contract she can start it, Dear Me. This soul contract is to my higher self who has a higher understanding of what’s going on in my life, who knows only love, who knows what I’m trying to put on paper to help me on this path and help me decide what I desire to experience.

Help me create what I desire in the most delightful way. Let me find joy on this path. And when I do experience what I desire, let it stay in my mind so I can help and teach others. And when I return to spirit, let me bring all these experiences that my higher self and my physical self wanted with us so all souls can learn and advance from these experiences.

If possible, Brenda can go into great detail about the way she’d like her life to be and what experiences she wishes to have. If you want a partner, if you want to travel, if you want to teach, or if you just want to relax and watch the people around you and give them a helping hand, put it in the paper you are writing. Put it in a beautiful box with a crystal on top and put the box in the sunshine to feel the energy of all the elements. And every day take your soul contract out and look at it. As you do this, you’ll quickly bring these experiences into your life.

Bob asked The Council if there was evidence of a soul contract written by Brenda  when she was in spirit before she incarnated into her current lifetime. The Council says Brenda wanted to bring the love of dance and music into this lifetime, even if she does this as a hobby rather than a profession. Put music on when you’re home and dance around, even if it’s with yourself. The memory of being in dance mode from other lifetimes will help you experience joy and be more attuned to what you desire in your current life.

The Council advises Brenda to get in the vibration of joy first and then write, or feel, or imagine what you desire. If you allow yourself to dance, or even just sit and listen to the music at first, this will raise your vibration.

Brenda closes by saying she’s been having the same patterns appear in her life regarding her finances, she’s learned her lessons, and she now needs to ask for a new soul contract.

The Council tells Brenda she can ask for a new soul contract regarding her finances, but they ask if she’s learned how to plan with the finances she has? And has she learned not to be in fear of having joyous things with her finances?

Many people feel, when they learn about finances, they have to save everything because they have in their mind the feeling of shortage, which you need to eliminate. Balance needs to be learned when there are lessons to be learned about saving and spending.

The Council understands Brenda sees a pattern with her finances and they say to her, don’t be in fear. Go forward with your finances. When you’re not in fear, your finances will increase. When you come into this lifetime it is to experience joy, not to struggle and have to do without. Find your balance and you’ll see an increase in your finances.

Career Advice

This  post answers a career advice question for The Council from a reader named Anthony, who says his employment involves the prevention of violence and death. Recently, after leading a response to a crisis that was felt across his country, he feels bored with his normal responsibilities and asks The Council if they see him moving on to a larger role in emergency and crisis response, or perhaps something else?

The Council says working in a crisis center is a loving and compassionate way to help others, but they ask what Anthony is doing right now to bring more peace and balance into his own life and ask him to take a look at this.

The Council sees in the near future a change of location is needed and they suggest if Anthony focuses on this he’ll be able to achieve it.

The Council says Anthony’s talent is working directly with people who are facing problems rather than doing paper work and they suggest he focus on this. Surround himself with the people who will benefit from his presence.

The Council sees within one or two years there will be a very big move where he’ll be handling groups and organizing the help that’s needed on a larger scale. When this time comes, The Council advises Anthony to keep working directly with people who need help. That’s the kind of healing he wishes to do in his life and his healing energy is needed by many.

Bob asked for clarification on the point about Anthony bringing balance into his life. The Council said steps are needed right now to withdraw from his work for a while, perhaps take a vacation or do something else that’s not related to his work. As Anthony takes time for himself, this allows his spirit to bring in more information and healing energy that he’ll need. After he’s given this time to himself he’ll feel better about giving to others.  And The Council wishes Anthony well in his work and they say it’s very important.

Listen to our entire 5-minute session with The Council to hear all their advice for Anthony and the rest of us, and let us know how you feel about it.

Am I On the Right Financial Path?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named Mary, who says she recently sold her home and will be using the proceeds to:

  1. Pay off her debt
  2. Lend her fiancee money to pay off his student loans
  3. Reinvest the rest to build a guest house at their home (presumably a different home)

Mary says she’s anxious whether these are good choices for what to do with the money and she asks if she’s on the right financial path.

The Council advises Mary to slow down, look at the situation, and know there’s a possibility of “blowing” the money from the sale. They advise her to take what she has and learn to work with it. Get a summary of the money she has and all the bills that must be paid. The Council says this can be done without a struggle and as she begins to pay these bills and she sees she’s able to handle this money better, she can think of selling the house at that point.

Bob points out that Mary says she already sold her home, and The Council says there’s more that’s coming, either more property involved or other houses. They advise Mary as she goes forward, to work on making lists of things that have to be paid. There’s more coming up around her with making money, how to spend it, and how to balance where she uses some for living and some for fun.

There’s a lesson that she needs to learn about balance in all things in her life; balance in relationships, balance in work, balance in how play, balance in spending, and physical and spiritual balance. The Council suggests Mary read some books on the spirit world, on other lifetimes, on people that channel, and bring this information together.

When it comes to paying off her debt, The Council recommends not taking all the money to pay off everything. Pay off some debt and make sure she keeps some money for living.

When it comes to paying off her fiancees student loans, The Council prefaces their recommendation by saying there are other issues involving her boyfriend that they won’t go into at this time. Then they say the boyfriend’s student loans can be paid off as long as all the money isn’t spent to pay off his and her debt.

On the subject of reinvesting the rest of the money to build a guest house at her home, The Council says this is a good idea if this is what she wants to do, just don’t use all the money. Always make sure you have money available to you.

Mary says she’s not sure if she’ll have this opportunity again and The Council says there will be other opportunities.

The Council recommends that at one point every day Mary say three times, “I am balancing my world.”

Listen to our entire 6-minute session with The Council to hear all their guidance for Mary and the rest of us on her finances, and let us know how you feel about it.
