Connecting With Conscious Energies, Egyptian Past Lives, And Jesus

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Sarah.

Sarah: I’ve been called back to your wonderful blog because I’m deeply curious, and I’m feeling called to explore some of the more paranormal parts of my life. Over the last few years or so I’ve developed a new relationship with what used to scare me as a child: bumps in the night, disembodied voices, lucid dreams, and lights moving around the room that are barely visible in the daytime.

Council: Lucid dreaming will give you memories of where you’ve traveled at night while you sleep. When you return, what you’ve experienced stays with you and feels very real, because it is.

As far as voices and bumps in the night are concerned, as a child this would of course be very frightening, and you would be wondering what’s going on. Now you’ve called these experiences back to you so you can experience them differently.

You can let go of the fear and know there’s consciousness in things we can’t see around us such as spirits that have lived before, or haven’t had an Earthly life. You’re more open to learning about this now, as are many other people. Its purpose is to enlighten you and give you more understanding of how much more there is to learn, how much more there is that we don’t know about yet, but you’re opening to bringing this in and understand it.

When you hear these bumps you can speak to them in your mind or out loud. If you stay very calm, ask a question, and you’re willing to connect, in the calmness you can allow yourself and your other senses to understand what’s coming in and what the message may be. Eventually you can feel comfortable that there’s so much more than the physical body. This is a lesson you’re ready for and that you’re bringing in.

Sarah: I think that these things I’m developing a new relationship with are conscious energies trying to communicate with me. What are they trying to communicate?

Council: These spirits are trying to communicate that they’re here, and they have a desire to be recognized. They want to finally be recognized in this reality. You’ve allowed this to happen.

Sarah: Who or what are these conscious energies?

Council: They are many different spirits, or as you would say, consciousness. They’re here to help us all develop and know that life in this reality, life in the physical body, isn’t all there is. It’s learning for us. It’s learning for these spirits that they can be recognized, and eventually we’ll work together.

Sarah: How can I connect with these conscious energies and allow clearer communication?

Council: Meditation is always the key. Before you go to bed at night you can also ask to remember what you’ve experienced in your travels. Allow this connection to happen. Consciously know you’re ready to connect and then let it go.

Sarah: I’m also feeling deeply called to past life experiences. Since early childhood, Egypt has had a strong hold on my mind. It always felt emotionally familiar and on some level I always felt like I know so much about it before I was ever taught. Is this an actual past life experience?

Council: Yes. You had several past lives in Egypt, but the one you’ve connected with is the 18th Dynasty, one of the greatest dynasties. The pharaoh at that time was Akhenaten. This is very interesting because Akhenaten believed in only one God and it was the Sun that he worshiped. He had many of the idols and statues of the other gods taken down. He worshiped this one God with morning prayers, evening prayers, and incense. You were part of this and also worshiped the one God.

Enjoying this, later when you’ve come in, you’ve experienced lives with great teachers like the Buddha. But most importantly what you enjoyed was life while the great master, Jesus, walked the Earth. You were a follower of Jesus, you were in his inner circle, and you learned much of what he taught.

There was a great love in that lifetime, which you’ve continuously looked for in other lives. In your current life you identify with those teachings of love, compassion for yourself and others, and kindness. You’ve taken this life with Akhenaten and this life with Jesus, which were very similar in their teachings, and have brought it forward with you into your current life.

You would experience different religions, you wanted to read about them, hear about them, learn about them, and see if you remembered the feelings you had about them in these other lives. There was the happiness of knowing there were rituals you participated in. There were beliefs that brought you a lot of joy. Continue to search and find what brings you joy in your current life. The things you feel or have felt are familiar, indeed they are.

Sarah: I’ve also felt like I knew Jesus since I was about 5 years old.

Council: Yes.

Sarah: Like I understood him, and the adults around me in my current life were so far off base within the Southern Baptist religion I was raised in. Does this all tie together?

Council: Yes, it all ties together. What is it in that Southern Baptist religion that you can identify with, or find something you can learn from? Remember that Jesus taught it’s not the ritual and it’s not following certain examples that were put forth. The most important thing was to show love. Are you doing that in your current lifetime? Can you accept the other religions you wished to learn about?

Read, learn, and see if there’s a thin thread that connects all of these religions that will give you clarity. That’s what you wanted to experience in your current life.

We send you all blessings, and all the wonderful thoughts that would help you, the positive thoughts and the feelings that come with them, and the love that’s within you that you can experience at any time when you focus on your heart and ask for signs of who you truly are. And when you do this you’ll experience more joy and more love in your life.

What Is My Mission And Purpose In Life?

This post answers the second installment of questions for The Council from a reader named, P.

P: What is my mission here and my life purpose?

Council: Your mission and purpose are just to be. Find a path you wish to follow, to explore, to learn, to grow, and to meet the challenges you pick. Nothing specific was picked while you were in spirit because you wanted to come here and just have fun and play life along as it goes.

It’s just your wish from spirit to exist in this reality. You wanted to help people. You wanted to learn about spirituality, how you feel about it, and which path you wanted to take in this particular life. You wanted to explore the people you met and let into your life. Spirituality and beliefs are something you dealt with in many of your past lives. You wanted to learn about people, what they believe, and why they believe it. And then you wanted to look at yourself and see what path are you following? What do you believe?

P: Who was I before this lifetime?

Council: Many, many people. In one particular lifetime you truly enjoyed you were in Nazareth during the time of Jesus. You sold cloth, home goods, and rugs in the market and you were interested in following Jesus. You didn’t know whether to believe in him or not, but you did follow him until he ascended from that reality, and this was a great pleasure for you.

You lived many lifetimes by the shore and fished. At another time you had a farm, a wife, and children. You liked growing your own food. With these lives does it ring a bell in your current life? Are you interested in growing food? How it’s prepared? Are you interested in fishing for relaxation? Are you interested in different religions? That was some of what you wanted to follow.

P: How can I personally connect with the loving spiritual realms, the invisible things, spirit guides, angels, etc.

Council: You’re always connected to spirit. In every reality you’re always connected. In your current life, to make it very simple, the best way for you to connect is to be out in nature, sit among the trees, and meditate. And if you don’t like to meditate, just sit quietly and feel the air around you. Listen to the noises around you. You will feel your vibration raising. You will feel a difference in your physical body.

When you decide to believe your vibration is really rising, you’ll hear the voices of guides, and you’ll be able to do automatic writing if you’d like to try that. The best way for you to connect is through meditation, or quietly sitting in the open, whether it be in the forest or on a beach, as long as you have complete quietness. Be very aware of the sounds that go on around you.

In one life you were deaf, and it was always a wish to feel whole by hearing. In your current lifetime what would bring you peace and heal what you wanted to heal from your deaf lifetime was to sit quietly and listen to the sounds. And you can even do this where you live: in your house, outside your house, anywhere. Be aware of the sounds and that will heal what was missing from the lifetime where you were deaf. You’re on the right path.

Why Do So Many Christians Believe Christ Died For Our Sins?

This post answers a question for The Council from an anonymous reader who wonders why a common belief in Christianity is that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

The Council says it was planned in spirit that people would believe one of the purposes Jesus died on the cross was to forgive our sins. Many people needed to have the belief that the Messiah came and freed everyone from their sins. If they followed Jesus’s teachings he would give them a way to everlasting life in heaven. This is part of the Christian belief. Not all Christianity follows this belief. There are many who choose this belief in their current lifetime to help them through whatever other lessons they bring into this life.

Anonymous quotes a popular Christian website that says: “We deserve to die and be separated from God forever because of our sins, but Christ took our place. By his death on the cross he paid the price for our sins. Now all we have to do is accept his forgiveness by trusting him alone for our salvation.”

The Council says when you learn who you are and what this life is about, you never die to be separated from God. God is within you. These are man-made thoughts and rules created to try and get you to follow them, but the spiritual purpose is different.

Some people choose to hear these rules to go through them and question them and then find their own beliefs. What do you find comforting? Do you believe this? Does it give you a sense of moving forward with a goal of being a better person? Or is it too strict, makes no sense, and you believe there’s no separation between yourself and God?

Do you believe Christ’s death on the cross took away your sins, and you can misbehave, and do whatever you know isn’t right, and goes against your feeling good because Christ will take away these sins? What’s your belief about this?

Anonymous says this seems like a strange way to guilt people into believing. The Council says some people use this form of guilt. Many ancient teachings and religious leaders tried to control people by guilting them and preaching fear to get them to go along with whatever they wanted.

You have heard and read these things so you’d question what you believe, and digging deeper into this question you’d find more about who you truly are and find your way to better feeling thoughts. You’d discover you don’t need to follow anyone’s rules to come back into spirit, to have a wonderful spiritual life, and to come back into another lifetime and choose new lessons. Asking this question is a way you’re trying to find the feeling and the knowing of who you truly are.

Christ dying on the cross for our sins was something believed at that time and for many people this is very helpful. This did happen in your reality, and how you follow it and what you believe about it is there to help you grow.

The Council closes by saying there is no way they see in the teachings of Jesus that he was in any way trying to guilt anyone into following rules. He was only trying to get people to love themselves.

Is God Evolving?

In this post The Council answers a question I (Bob) had recently while reading the book, Conversations With Mary, by Anna Raimondi. Ms. Raimondi is an intuitive, like Cynthia, who is able to communicate with the spirit of the virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus. In a chapter titled, Why Are We Here?, Anna asks Mary if God is evolving. The short answer (p. 82) is that God is constant and always the same. This struck me as unusual because I was under the impression from our sessions with The Council that what we call God is continually evolving.

So I asked The Council if God is evolving, they answered, always, which appears to contradict Anna’s message. The Council goes on to say when God decided to create life, little pieces of itself (God’s self) go into every individual, and God learns from these experiences he’s having in each soul that’s creating life. … And so we say, God is evolving, God is always creating more, and is always learning from the experience.

When I ask what Mary may have meant when she says that God’s always the same, The Council says it was Mary’s belief that her God already knew everything that would ever happen. The God Mary believed in didn’t need to evolve. He was the all mighty, the always was and the always will be. No growth is needed in this version of the all mighty God because it was believed it already was and always would be.

When Bob asked if we understand God differently now, The Council says as we learn that we are spirits in physical bodies, and we are creating our lives, and we are learning, God is within us. As we are learning, God is learning.

The Council goes on to say God is always evolving because we, as humans, are always evolving. Nothing is stagnant, nothing stays still, everything changes, everything grows. The more love we feel and show each other, the more love God feels and the more God expands.

Listen to our entire 6-minute session with The Council to hear all their guidance about God’s evolution, and let us know how you feel about it.

How True is the Bible?

This post is inspired by a question from Wendy who’s a fan of the channels Abraham and Bashar, and she also feels a deep connection to Jesus. Recently she’s begun reading the bible with the goal of reading it cover to cover. Wendy is an avid reader of all things spiritual and feels an understanding of the bible is important, but she’s curious about differences she finds between what the bible says and what Abraham and Bashar have been saying. So she’s decided to ask The Council how true are the writings and stories in the bible to get their opinion.

Ordinarily we like to write a synopsis of what The Council says so you can decide whether to listen to the session’s audio recording below. For this session we’ve decided to limit our remarks because it appears difficult to summarize.

The Council does say in a past life Wendy was a child at the time Christ was born and she was a witness to this. The Council suggests Wendy meditate on this and ask to feel and see this again. And they say reading the bible is a good exercise for her.

We suggest you listen to the entire 18-minute session with The Council (below) to hear all their guidance on understanding the bible.

Discovery of Records from Ancient Civilizations

During a recent session to answer a reader’s question about spirit’s intention for the roles of men and women, The Council casually made the following comments about historical records that will be discovered and bring to light many things not currently known about gender roles in earlier times.

“In Jesus’ time many many of the great healers and great teachers…were women, and so many records from that time will come forward, where many women were great leaders, where the women were the rule makers.”

Regarding the current perception of male dominance throughout most of history:

“With the knowledge that has been accepted, with the documents that have been found, and yet there is more that will be found, where we will learn more of the interchangeable roles of men and women.”

“In the times where Jesus walked the Earth, one of his greatest teachers was a woman named Judith, and so much of what he learned as a child came from her. And yet very little is known of this at this time, but there is much to be discovered.”

“Judith was also a teacher and friend of his mother, Mary. And she taught many of the women in that time to be great healers. The men at that particular time in history were not the healers until Jesus came to the forefront, and so that will be discovered also.”

Spirit’s Intention for Female and Male Gender Roles

This post is inspired by an overlooked question asked several years ago by reader named Fe, who made some interesting observations about the differences between the roles of men and women, and she asks The Council: “When All That Is conceived of and created our species for this physical reality, what was the intended nature of each gender, of their roles, and of their intimate relationship?”

“From the very beginning, when spirit created male and female it was known that as we continue through our expansion and our many many lives, that we would take part in each gender. And so we would experience being the man [and] we would experience being the woman.

“And the only thing that was pre-planned at that time was that we would have the man and the woman. We would come into this lifetime… into these bodies… and (as they say) work it day by day. There was no assumption that the male would be stronger and the female would be weaker.

“And through different periods of time the man was stronger and the woman was weaker. And the roles were reversed and the woman was stronger (and we believe you have heard stories, which are true, of the Amazons) and the man was weaker.

“The intention was to experience both and create it the way you wanted it to be. So there was no fine line that said the man will be stronger [and] the female weaker, or vice verse.

“In your recent generations many women were taught that the man was the head of the house… that a woman that was not married was an old maid… and pity the person that could not find themselves in a permanent relationship. And then there was the thought that if you did marry and did not have children, that was oh so sad.

“And so now you have seen this changing. Many women choose not to be in relationships. Many women choose to set their sights on careers, or just evolve in their own lives, whether with different partners or going forward alone.

“And so as you can see, through all these generations the roles do change; they swing like a pendulum. The most important thing right now is (of course the way we always say) to remember you’re a spirit in a physical body, and you will experience both. How you experience it is entirely up to you because you create as you go along. Is that understood?”
