Tell Me About The Symbol I Saw Last Year
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Sophie.
Sophie: I’d love to ask The Council if they could tell me about the symbol I saw last year. I was sitting on the sofa and felt called to look out the window. I saw something that looked almost like a teardrop or a paisley pattern come slowly down from the sky. And as it moved down, it aligned with my line of vision. At first it looked silver with a blue section, rather like the yin-yang symbol. The texture of the moving symbol was like rippling mercury and changed from the bottom of the teardrop, turning blue until the smaller section at the top became silver.
Council: What a wonderful gift this was.
We’d like to say that there are many things going on around us in different dimensions. There are things we don’t see, there are colors we don’t see, there are thought forms floating around that are colorful, and there are other lifestyles that are floating around us and we are never aware of them.
So in this particular episode you were in such a relaxed place that you were able to tune into something else that was around, that is always around. And what you saw was another thought form, another thought form that has life itself, and is floating. And you were lucky enough – we would say blessed enough – to have just a moment of seeing this.
If there were other people with you at that time, they probably wouldn’t have seen it. Or if you did see it, it would be quick, and you’d always have that between you that you’ve experienced this. But this was a whole other dimension that you were able to tap into, and that truly is a gift.
Sophie: I was so transfixed, I don’t even know how long I was looking at it. I stood up to see if it was something to do with the construction workers opposite our house, but when I stood up I realized that this symbol, or visitor, was definitely outside our house and not further away. It was hovering in front of my window.
I find myself asking for assistance from Archangel Michael frequently and I was wondering if it’s connected to him. Any insights are much appreciated. Many thanks and virtual hugs. Sophie.
Council: Well any connection that you’d have to Archangel Michael would help you to get into a higher vibration so that you were able to see this. So we’d say to consider this a wonderful gift. But to remember, you tapped into another dimension. You saw something so special that’s floating around, and many, many things are floating around, and we don’t know it because our conscious mind doesn’t allow us to see it.
And as we said before, this was special, and to always remember you have proof that there are other life forms, and we’re all in this together, and we’re all able, at times, to tap into each other’s minds and see things that are going on. It’s always possible that when you reach a certain vibration that you can expand and see that there’s so much more that’s going on.
Bob: Anything else you can tell Sophie about the nature of this symbol?
Council: It was just another energy that was here visiting, flying around, or floating around, and it has thought forms. It was a life, but a different life than we’d know here. Again, you were privileged to see this.
And so we wish you love, and happiness, and fun in creating your lives. You are the creator in your life. No one else is.

What Can I Do About My Obsessive Thoughts?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, DivineMaha.
DivineMaha: I have a question about thoughts that go through my head and how it affects me a lot. I feel like the peace I’m having is temporary and I’m always feeling I’m in survival mode, and separated from others at times.
Council: Just thinking like that will help you feel nervous, upset, and tired – almost waiting for the other shoe to fall.
DivineMaha: I’m not sure if it’s my self-worth, my anxiety, or my deep-seated beliefs about myself. I also feel I can’t hear my higher self. Whenever I want to meditate I always worry if my energy would affect the people around me in negative ways because I’m feeling negative or in resistance mode.
Council: Everyone around you has their own energy and what they allow to come into them or not come into them isn’t your problem.
When you are negative you are to take care of yourself. Sit and meditate. If you can’t meditate, listen to music that soothes you. Think good thoughts. When you begin to meditate for yourself, the people that are around you, when they’re on the same level as you and wanting to grow, wanting to feel better, they will feel that peaceful feeling that you get from meditation.
When you truly meditate, you will not have negative feelings. If you think that by sitting here and meditating, you can get negative and people will feel that, you will create that.
Everyone at this time in this reality is here to learn the discipline that needs to be worked on and needs to be controlled some more so that you can be more positive. But anything that you think or that you meditate for will not affect another person unless they’re at a very low level and picks up negativity, or they are at a very high level and pick up the happiness, the peace, and the feeling good from meditation.
What you feel is around you, but what you attract to yourself only has to do with your thoughts and where you are.
DivineMaha: I’m saying this because I’m aware of what’s happening in my surroundings and the people around me. I always make sure I radiate good energy or just be neutral, but sometimes my thoughts are overpowering me and I’m the type of person that pays attention to details.
Council: And so this is normal. And when you get these negative thoughts, just acknowledge them. “Oh, there it is again, but I don’t want to think like this.” So then you use the discipline and the strength you have to change your thoughts.
DivineMaha: Every little thing matters, so it easily affects me, and I’d be in judgment mode and start remembering all the past things that get heavier.
Council: And of course that will bring your energy down. And so, again, recognize it. Look what you’re thinking of. Look what you’re remembering. Well that’s gone. You’re here right now. How do you focus? How do you take the power you have in the present? Do you want to stay thinking about the past and things that upset you, or think of the future and how you’re creating thoughts to make you feel better?
DivineMaha: The thoughts will always be in a loop, over and over. I feel trapped in my thoughts every day, non-stop obsessively thinking.
Council: You are not trapped. As a spirit you came in, and one of the greatest tools you have is choice. So it’s to learn what’s going on, be aware of it, and then you have the choice. Change your thought, or go around, and around, and around. Only you can do this.
DivineMaha: I always had to come up with a solution for each problem thought that pops up each time, and it’s too tiring.
Council: Of course it is.
DivineMaha: Am I controlling?
Council: You just aren’t using your thoughts the way it’s meant for you to use them. You’re not supposed to concentrate on something to try and find the solution. You’ll never find the solution while you are worried, while your energy is down, and there’s nothing but chaos and confusion. The way you find the solution to a problem is to change your thought. Get yourself in a higher vibration, feel loving feelings, and just know that the answers will come.
DivineMaha: I’ve watched a lot of near-death experience stories. I do feel I want to have that glimpse of that pure unconditional love, even for just a minute so I can remember this pure love in this lifetime of mine, that it stays clear within me, and that nothing in this world could shake me. I feel so low right now.

Council: We’d like to say to you here that you don’t need a near-death experience to feel the love, and the joy, and the happiness that is felt by the people that have had this near-death experience. Begin to sit and ask to feel love. What does love feel like? Let me feel peace. What does peace feel like? And imagine, just stretch your imagination, what will they feel like? And you will be surprised by the feelings that come up. It will be wonderful.

Do Friends Or Family Have Bad Intentions Affecting Our Health?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, LovePeace.
LovePeace: My family is struggling with bad health ever since we moved to Atlanta. We’re continuously getting sick, which is highly unusual for us.
Council: Was this move to Atlanta wanted? Were your thoughts positive and excited about this part of your life that was coming up?
We’d say to everyone that your health is controlled by your thoughts and by your vibration. It’s wise to remember, everything must, must, must start in vibration. There are negative thoughts that lower your vibration. There are positive thoughts that bring your vibration up into a place where you feel good. When you’re in that higher vibration you cannot stay sick. Sickness is in a lower vibration and it feeds the body differently. When you’re in a positive vibration, stay in that vibration as much as you can. How do you stay in it? You find things to be grateful for. You think of all the things that you have accomplished in your life, of things that you’ve gone through and it’s made you feel good.
Concentrate on what you want your life to be like. Imagine it in detail. Do you want to be married? Do you want to move again? Do you want a big family? Do you want a career? What is it? See it. And the more you can see it, you will feel it. When you feel it, it must happen. This is daily work that needs to be done. Change the vibration. When it changes your health must, must, must change.
According to what you’re saying here, everyone isn’t in a great feeling vibration. One person gets sick and another person will be afraid they’ll catch it or they’ll get sick. So now everyone is in this vibration of fear of what’s going on here. Maybe this move wasn’t a good move because we’re all sick. The move is fine. It’s your thoughts that must change. Atlanta will be a wonderful place to live. This is what we want when we’re here. Stay in the positive thoughts. That’s how you change your health. It must start in vibration. How do you get a higher vibration? You do it with your thoughts. You’re in control of this.
There’s no need to fear what’s happening. According to the way everyone’s been thinking, everyone has been getting sick. So now change it. It’s that simple. We say here, it’s not always easy for you in your reality to do it, but it’s a simple answer. Change your thoughts.
LovePeace: These sicknesses also take a long time to get better.
Council: Ah, and what does that tell you? The thoughts are taking up much of this time. And so, again, change it.
You can feel really sick, and while you’re sitting at home laying in bed, you can control your thoughts. See yourself as feeling better. Oh, I’m walking around. Oh, I don’t need medicine. Oh, I feel relaxed. You can do that while you’re sick. When you see it, when you imagine it and begin to feel it, with this imagery you’ll change what’s going on in your physical reality.
LovePeace: It can affect our work schedule and our kid’s school schedule.
Council: Of course, that’s how it works. Vibration and energy don’t stay in one area of your life. It hits other areas. So if you aren’t feeling well, it can affect how you take care of your children or how you take care of your house. Can you go to work? It’s like a domino effect. It’s important what you think.
LovePeace: I’ve been having some issues with friends and family, as well. I want to check if any of them has the evil eye or bad intentions that are contributing to our bad health.
Council: There’s no evil eye unless you believe in this. There’s only energy, and the energy that you surround yourself with is what’s important. And so there’s only a curse of an evil eye if you believe it. Even if you have the thought: Is it possible? Of course, if you think that, it will be possible, but nothing happens, nothing will touch you when you work with positive thoughts. Surround yourself in beautiful pink light and know that it’s healing and love. That’s what you need.
LovePeace: Please provide guidance on how we can keep healthy and happy.
Council: We believe we’ve done that.
This we can tell you: You can accomplish this. We see, if you choose to do the work, you’ll all be better. And so, now it’s your choice. Do you choose love and positivity, or do you choose fear? It’s only you that will create what happens in your life.

How Can I Deal with these High-pitched Tones in My Ears?
This post answers a question for The Council from a reader named, Jay, who says he’s struggling with bouts of debilitating tinnitus (ringing in the ears) that he’s been unable to solve himself. I’m a person who can appreciate silence, but there’s no silence in my experience now – just high-pitched feedback-like tones. When I have these episodes it’s so distracting that I feel unable to use my brain. How can I address this problem? It’s wearing me out emotionally and leaving me feeling hopeless.
The Council sees that Jay has created this tinnitus, not as a distraction, but as something to tune you in to your inner voice, to guidance, and to connecting to spirit. You haven’t spent enough time meditating or sitting silently and patiently asking questions and listening for answers. This tinnitus was created by you to bring your attention to sound and hearing.
When you do have these tinnitus attacks, sit for a short period of time and listen to the tone. Imagine walking into it and through it. What do you see? What do you hear?
When you’re able to experience silence The Council asks you to meditate, to picture any sort of colors in your mind’s eye, then go back to listening. Begin by listening to tones, and then it will turn into words, and you can think of questions, and just listen. This tinnitus is your way of stopping yourself from everyday life so you can give time and attention to this problem of not tuning into your inner voice.
When you can go into this silence we see this will last longer and longer because you’re fulfilling what you’ve created to help you get to a higher vibration, which also causes this sound in your ears. This is the way your higher self has stopped you so you can begin to listen and not run away from these sounds. Listen and work with these sounds while it leads you on a path that connects you to your higher self.
We realize it’s difficult to listen to these sounds and you feel like you want to escape them, but they can’t hurt you. For a short period, even if it’s only a minute, listen to these sounds and imagine they have a color. Imagine walking into a room that’s filled with this color and the sound you hear until you no longer feel you need to escape. The more you can do this the sounds will change. It will change your vibration and you’ll connect to your higher self and your spirit guides.
When you don’t hear these sounds and there’s quiet, take five minutes if you can to sit and appreciate the silence. Go into the silence. Create another room. What color is in the room with silence in it? Go into it and listen. When you’re comfortable, ask questions. Don’t be afraid to listen. The more you listen, the answers to your questions will come to you.
This will take time. Persevere.

Helping Finding More Fulfilling Employment
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader who goes by the name, BiggerThanMeMovement who read our post, How Can I Find Work I Feel Passionate About, and says she’s in a similar situation. She went to school for exactly what she does for a living and she enjoyed the work at first. Bigger says their compensation is very generous and this is the main thing that keeps her on the job.
The Council asks Bigger if she feels grateful for her situation, because when you have a job and many people are unemployed, and when you’re well compensated for the work you do, the first step in making a change is being grateful for what you have.
The Council says if you have negative thoughts and you feel like you don’t want to be in your situation, your negative vibration will keep you from creating more positive circumstances for yourself. You have to think of all the wonderful parts of this situation you’re in and how they can blossom for you. The answer for Bigger might be a different unexpected position in the company she already works for. It doesn’t necessarily mean switching companies.
The Council says you’ll always create for yourself what your higher spirit knows will be good for you to experience. They repeat that the first step toward change is to be grateful for what you have. And they add that this is another example of a spirit who has come into this lifetime to learn to create what they are looking for.
The Council asks if Bigger feels happy knowing there’s something better waiting for her even if she has no idea what it is? Do you feel the excitement and the joy of this. This is the vibration you need to attract what you desire. When you’re in the vibration of dreading going to work and feeling like this job is no longer for you, this will be in the way of you bringing in more of what you desire.
Bigger says she had to take two weeks off work a few months ago because her personal and work life had become so hectic. The Council asks if Bigger was able to relax and experience fun during this vacation. Did you know this break was very needed, would give you the strength to go on, and in going on and in being grateful you’d create what you want? And The Council adds they see a trip on the water will be very good for Bigger.
Bigger says after the vacation she went back to work and pushed through, but I feel as though I’m at another breaking point. I’m applying for other jobs, but nothing has come through yet. The Council says how can anything come through when you feel you’re at a breaking point? You’ve created this whole scenario in spirit so you’d learn how to truly create. This is when you turn to the higher vibration of being grateful for what you have and being open to whatever will bring you more joy. Be excited about your situation in the present moment and then you’ll find another job.
Bigger says they’re afraid to quit their job because they’ll lose the stability they have and The Council says fear is not the way to accomplish the change you want. You are the only one that makes yourself miserable by staying at your job. Change your attitude about your job. Change how you look at it. Whether you feel you fit in at your job or not, you should constantly think you’re creating a new future. You should be thinking about what gets you to a higher vibration? What makes you happy? That is creating.
Bigger closes by says it’s heart-wrenching to work at a job where I don’t fit in. The Council says this kind of thinking is getting in your own way. You chose this path to become the creator. Now it’s time, from your higher spirit’s knowledge of what you want, to move forward. And when you don’t move forward you become more uncomfortable and things happen that make you not want to be at this job. These are just little signs that you’ve created to get you to move.
Bless the people around you, wish them love, and wish them happiness. Stay in the vibration of getting excited and you’ll be creating the next step for you. The Council ends this session by saying if Bigger does the inner work, in a short time they’ll be much happier and very surprised.

Who Made the Rules for Communicating with Spirit?
This post answers a question for The Council from a reader named, Keith, who says there appear to be rules about communicating with spirit. For instance, spirit can’t tell us winning lottery numbers.
The Council says of course spirit can tell you winning lottery numbers, but when you decided in spirit to come into this lifetime, you wanted to create for yourselves. If spirit gave you the winning lottery numbers you wouldn’t have the joy of creating them on your own.
The Council says the way to create winning the lottery is the way you create everything else. You think about it. You feel it. You talk about it. You write about it. Why do you want it? What would you do with it?
Ninety-nine percent of the people that ask their spirit guides for winning lottery numbers don’t believe they will get them. When you don’t believe it and you don’t expect it, you won’t create it.
If you ask spirit for winning lottery numbers and you do the work of thinking about it, expecting it, and knowing that it’s there for you, you’ll bring these winning numbers into your life. But when you came into this lifetime, the joy you looked forward to was creating with your thoughts and your vibration whatever it is that you wanted.
The Council says winning the lottery is a lesson in creating. Most people who pick lottery numbers or gamble want to win, but they don’t expect to win. And this belief will keep you from winning. Everything is right there for you in the higher vibration. When you meditate, or laugh, or have fun, or have joyous dreams you can feel, that’s creation. And in this creation there’s nothing you can’t attract.
The Council says there aren’t any rules for communicating with spirit. You decide you want to and then you work at finding a way. Whether you ask for information in your dreams or whether you work at meditating (as Cynthia did), with that strong desire the information will come to you.
If you have a question for spirit, ask the question out loud and then be open to an answer, however it comes to you. Whether the answer comes on the TV, or a song on the radio, or something you overhear people talking about, spirit will always get the information to you. If you have difficulty meditating spirit will find a way to get the information to you. It’s your job to be open to the answer and expect it. Know your answer will come and it will.
The only rules about communicating with spirit are the ones you make yourselves. Spirit is right here for you all the time. Most people don’t believe this. And when you’re at a point where connecting to spirit is an important focus in your life, a connection will be made and spirit will make it. You show the discipline and the desire and spirit will make the connection happen.

How Can I Describe Kundalini Energy to Family & Friends
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named Mariner2Mother, who’s experiencing a Kundalini awakening and would like help explaining the process to family and friends who don’t understand it.
The Council says Kundalini is a raising of energy in each chakra (or energy center in the body). It sits in the first chakra (or root chakra in the groin area) and through meditation, prayer, reading, and sometimes through no conscious effort on the part of the practitioner, slowly rises through each of the seven chakras along the spine.
Inside each chakra there are seven more chakras that correspond to the seven chakras in the body. The Council describes it as an awakening. It can take years for this energy to rise to the upper most chakra. This energy can heal fears, illness, and anything that keeps you from experiencing who you truly are. It helps you think differently and see things differently.
The Council says many people experience this rise of Kundalini energy and never know it. They just begin to feel better and have better thoughts because they are opening to energies that aren’t available when you’re worried, depressed, or your energy is heavy.
Many people say it’s a horrible experience to have your Kundalini open, and The Council says if you believe this, that is what you’ll experience.
The Council advises controlling Kundalini energy with your thoughts, know that it’s there, and if you’re interested in raising this energy you can do this slowly so that your body and your mind can handle it.
It’s a raising and expanding of energy so you can have deeper experiences while still in your human body.
Mariner2Mother says her Kundalini energy opened up in her somewhat spontaneously, but The Council says this isn’t the case. It’s happening because her higher self (spirit) is choosing to have this experience.
The Council says the simplest way to explain Kundalini is to describe the seven chakras and what each one does, and how you are learning there are seven more chakras inside each chakra. From deep inside you this energy slowly works it’s way up from one chakra to the next. The chakras gradually open and send out a much higher vibration and energy that you’re able to tap into.
The Council says raising your Kundalini is a normal process that can be very beautiful, and there’s nothing to be afraid of.
Mariner2Mother can pray on each chakra, learn the colors of each chakra, and meditate on the seven different chakra colors within each chakra; these seven chakras are the size of a pin head.
In response to Mariner2Mother describing her Kundalini process as challenging for her, The Council suggests asking her spirit (or higher self) to slow down this process so it’s not so exhausting. When she describes much of her experience as “Hell on Earth”, The Council says this experience of Hell on Earth isn’t necessary.
The Council finishes with guidance to send love to every chakra.
