How Can I Alleviate My Neck And Shoulder Pain?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Vertigo.
Vertigo: Hi. I’m wondering if The Council has any advice for my neck and shoulder pain. It started a couple months ago and my entire right arm hurts and tingles throughout the day. A Physical Therapist says it’s a nerve compression issue, but so far no actual therapy helps. The pain is only a 2 or 3 out of 10, but it’s really bothersome and it’s a major distraction from the rest of my life.
Council: What we see here, and of course we always start in energy first, but your 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th chakras aren’t fully working the way they should be. At this point we advise you to start every day or every other day doing the chakra breathing and spend a little more time on the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th chakras. Once these chakras are aligned and working clearly, then you’ll address in your physical reality the compressed nerves in your neck and the right side of your head.
Physical Therapy is a wonderful thing, but it doesn’t release the nerve compression. And so we advise you to find a Chiropractor that you hear good things about and you can believe in, and have the Chiropractor work on the compressed nerves. If you start working on an energetic level first and then take the steps in the physical plane to work on the physical part that’s bothering you, you’ll be able to relieve the compressed nerves and the pain will be relieved.
Bob: Any suggestions on how long Vertigo should work with the energy and the chakras before seeking Chiropractic help?
Council: It’s always up to the person how difficult they find doing this, or if their intention is to work with this and see it working and feel it working. Do some visual work while you go into the chakras. What do you think you see? The more you do this, the faster the chakra healing will come in. We can’t give you a timeline because you are the creator. You will create when you are to heal this and how you are to heal this. And so we’d say when you’re working with the chakras and when it feels comfortable and you feel just a little different, then we advise you to go ahead with the Chiropractor and the physical part.
Bob: Do you recommend any sort of visualization during the chakra meditations for easing up the compressed nerves?
Council: You will do the correct breathing and use the correct colors. Start by going into your heart. What do you think it looks like in there? When you look at that green energy, do you see anything? You may not in the beginning, but keep asking the questions: Is it dull, heavy energy? Is it clear? Is it flowing? Does your heart chakra want to show you anything?
Then move up to the throat and you’ll work with the symbol for this chakra and the beautiful light blue. Again, do you see light blue all around your throat? Do you see it only on one side? Ask your throat what it wishes to show you.
Then move up to the Third Eye. Ask the same questions. What is in the Third Eye? How does the indigo color look? Is there something your Third Eye needs? Is there something your Third Eye would like to get rid of and show you?
Then move to your crown. Do you see the beautiful purple energy coming down into your Crown Chakra? Is there a nice flow of energy? Does it stop and go? Is your Crown Chakra accepting this purple energy? Is there something you can see? Is there a picture? Is something in the way of the purple energy? Is there something your Crown Chakra needs?
Play with this, and as you do you’ll see changes begin to happen.
Bob: But you don’t recommend any specific visualization for the nerve decompression?
Council: When you go and seek the physical help, as the Chiropractor is working on you, you can see yourself healing. See the Chiropractor releasing the compressed nerves and feel relieved that things are beginning to feel so much better.
All seven chakras are good to work on, but take more time on the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th chakras.
Bob: Is it worthwhile discussing what may have caused this nerve compression?
Council: There are some memories there. There’s also some stress that comes from the current lifetime. It’s just the weak point where the stress has landed, but we see that this can be fixed.

What’s Causing My Mysterious Allergy Symptoms?
This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader who’s been having mysterious allergy symptoms for the last six months.
Anon: These symptoms feel like angry little pinpricks and itchiness, Sometimes I can literally feel it sweep up my body when I begin to experience symptoms, or when I wake up at night.
Council: Many things are going on here. You need to work on each of your chakras. Learn to do chakra breathing. Energy isn’t moving through your body easily. We suggest getting Chiropractic adjustments with a Chiropractor who uses Applied Kinesiology. You can also get some massage.
Anon: It’s especially on my arms, hands, and behind my ears.
Council: You have many pinched nerves and this is all from stress.
Anon: I thought it was a shampoo I was using, the medicine I was taking, or the ultraviolet resin I was working with. But now I’m in a different country and it’s happening again. I feel like my body is trying to tell me something, but I’m not sure what it is.
Council: Your body is telling you it needs help with your chakras. You can reverse these symptoms with Chiropractic adjustments, massage, and most of all, working with your chakras. Yoga will also be good after a while. You can very easily reverse these symptoms. Let go of worrying about them. Your symptoms are from stuck energy.
Anon: Is it stress-related, or is it a reaction to letting go of stress?
Council: Your symptoms are a result of being afraid of letting go.
Anon: I’ve just moved to a new country where I feel much safer and happier, but at night I’ve also been having nightmares about being left alone in one way or another…
Council: Yes, this is abandonment.
Anon: …which is something I know I fear and wanted to work on in this lifetime.
Council: And that fear will start in the first chakra and work its way up.
Anon: Is there any way to stop these symptoms? I’m especially sad that I’m having this reaction when I’m working with ultraviolet resin because this brings me lots of joy and is a creative outlet for me.
If illness is something I’ve chosen to help me learn a lesson, what’s the lesson I’m supposed to be learning here?
Council: The lesson here is to learn another way to care for yourself. It’s to learn about energy. It’s to learn about the different layers of a body. Any sort of book that talks about alternative healing. or the different layers in your aura. or anything like that will help you understand the energy and get it to move.

Should I Give This Man Who’s Come Back In My Life A Second Chance?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Eva. She says, After one year without any contact, this man who The Council told me (in a previous session) was my son in a previous life, has come back into my current life. He’s a father now, but he claims he can’t be with his wife and he’s asked me for a second chance. My common sense is stopping me from getting involved with him again. I’m not really happy in my marriage, but I haven’t made a decision to get a divorce.
The Council says if you’re thinking this person would be the answer to finding happiness, we would say this isn’t the way to find it. This man won’t bring you a deeper and truer relationship than what you have with your husband. Find ways to feel good about yourself.
If there’s no rush for a divorce from your husband, there’s a reason for this. Pay attention to this and look for the goodness you can find in your marriage. Be grateful. As you look for this gratitude, more will appear in your life. You’ll still be able to make the choice in the future whether to leave the marriage or not. Being with the other man isn’t the answer to what you’re trying to achieve.
Eva says, I’m always trying to do the right thing for everyone. The Council says it’s time to do the right thing for yourself. Eva asks if The Council has any advice on how she should move on. The Council advises meditation. If you can’t meditate, just sit quietly for ten minutes and see what thoughts come to you and what direction it takes you in. It’s the quieting down of your mind that will give you a stronger direction and answers to your questions.
Now is the time to focus on what you’d like your life to look like. The more you can focus on this while being grateful for what you already have, the universe will deliver more loving and happy situations to you. Meditate. Do chakra breathing to align yourself and you’ll see your life get more clarity. Ideas will come to you through your intuition, which you’ll immediately know are the right directions for you.
Eva says, I’d really like to help this man with his little girl. I’d really love to be part of his life, but at the same time I don’t want to hurt anybody. The Council asks Eva, Can you seriously think about being in this man’s life and helping him with his daughter, and not being pulled into trying to make that relationship what’s missing in the relationship you have with your husband?
If you truly want a relationship with this man, we say take your time about it and focus on the way you want this relationship to be. But there’s a lot you need to look at now in your life with your husband. Look at it, learn from it, find the gratefulness, find the love, and then create with your mind what you want your life to be like. Your marriage was something that was preplanned in spirit and you need to focus on this first.

What’s Going On with My Troublesome Brother?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Peace5, who wants to know about their brother. Peace5 says, He’s almost 23 years old and has been very troublesome lately. I don’t know what’s gotten into him. Even though he has an incurable disease, he stopped taking his medicine, he stopped taking care of himself, and he’s very nasty with me and our whole family, even my 6-year-old son.
The Council suggests trying to find compassion for your brother. Imagine how you’d feel knowing you have an incurable disease. Some people can find a way to work with an incurable disease and have positive thoughts. Others, like your brother, become depressed. Being nasty and stopping his medication is a sign he can’t find hope. He can’t love himself. He’s going through this depression because he’s closed himself off to loving himself and accepting love from others.
We hope your family will be able to find some sort of therapy for your brother that will help with his depression. Once he’s able to have a few positive thoughts, once he’s able to change his lower vibration, hope will come to him and he can have thoughts of helping himself. He can’t cure himself when he’s in the vibration he’s in now. That vibration must be changed.
If it’s at all possible we recommend doing the chakra breathing meditation we recommend in another post. You can do this with him and so can the rest of your family. This meditation will help align his chakras so he can feel better.
Get your brother the first Emmanuel book, by Pat Rodegast and leave it in his room where he can find it, but don’t tell him to read it. Once he’s able to connect with this book and begins to read about depression, illness, dying, and changing his life, it’ll start to put him on the right path.
Peace5 says, My brother takes medical marijuana for his disease, but I believe it’s harming him more than helping him. He’s not interested in anything at all, including looking for a job. All he does is lay around all day long, sleep, and shower four times a day even though he doesn’t go anywhere. He fights with us, curses at us for no apparent reason, and doesn’t speak with us. What’s going on with him and do you think he’ll ever change for the better?
Again The Council asks if you can find it in your heart to feel some compassion for your brother? Try to understand he’s in a difficult place. Can you accept where he is now? Offer him love. Speak with him. Talk with him like he’s a regular person. Don’t tiptoe around him or not say things in front of him. Get excited and share your life with him. Tell him stories. This will be the beginning of your brother feeling cared for.
Don’t force your attention on him, but when you’re around him try to be joyful. If you can be in a joyful vibration it increases the likelihood of your brother becoming joyful. It’s important you’re whole family is very accepting of you’re brother’s situation and condition and forget he has this incurable disease. Forget he’s laying around. Forget he’s doing nothing. Just be nice to your brother and accept who he is.
The Council asks Peace5 to remember you can’t make your brother better. You can be in the right vibration around him. You can speak to him joyfully. Have your brother feel that no matter how he behaves, he’s accepted. Show him by your conversation that you care about him.
At first he probably won’t accept your positive intentions, but we ask you to continue with them anyway. When your brother sees no one is fighting with him, that you accept him, that you allow him to lay around if he wants to, that you don’t preach to him about doing nothing, he’ll eventually get tired of doing these things and begin to raise his vibration and begin to try and find a better way. In doing this and sending him love and light with your thoughts to help him through his difficulties, things will change.
There are many reasons why your brother may have chosen the life he’s currently living. He wants to understand his situation. In the spirit world, where we’ve either experienced a similar life situation in another incarnation, or we’ve seen others go through what we’re going through, we wonder if we can also do that. Can I bring love into that situation? Can I turn that situation around? Do I want to teach things to other people about how to handle this situation and how we all need to reach for love and show love in that situation?
That’s why we choose situations like the one your brother is in. There are many reasons, but the many reasons are unimportant. The main reason is: Am I bringing love into this situation? Am I bringing love and support and positive thoughts to the person who’s going through this difficulty? That’s what’s needed. In spirit we’re all confident we’ll be able to do this. In reality it’s much more difficult. The reason why we came here is to have fun. We came here to face every situation with love. And when you bring love into any situation, it must change.
Bob closes by asking if there’s a possibility of curing this incurable disease. The Council says there’s always this possibility and this, of course, is up to your brother.

My Life Seems Like A Never-Ending Bad Trip
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Pedro, who says he’s twenty-one years old and passing through a strange time in his life. He says, Sometimes I feel a strong loneliness, but I don’t feel comfortable with anyone else. I don’t want anyone to touch me, but I’m touch-starved. I get irritated very easily and I also feel tired of living.
The Council says what you’re explaining here – the loneliness, being starved for touch, and the irritability – is because you’re not connected to who you really are, and that’s the first thing you really want when you come into this physical realm. We want to connect with who we really are so whatever challenges we manifest in this lifetime, we can learn to handle it differently.
It’s important for you to read the Emmanuel books by Pat Rodegast. There are three of them. That will begin to connect you. And learn to meditate. If that’s not possible for you we suggest you do the chakra breathing. As you change the energy within and around you, your feelings will change. The vibration within you will change and you’ll start to feel better.
Because you’re starved for touch, but don’t want to be touched, it’s not because you want the physical touch of someone. You wish the touch of energy. Sometimes when you’re sitting in a chair, imagine there’s this beautiful white energy that’s entering the top of your head. Picture it going through your head, down into your neck, down into your arms, your chest, and your stomach, down your legs into your feet. Imagine seeing and feeling this energy. Picture it around you, as if you were in a cocoon. Feel this as you do it. It’s the feeling of this white energy that’ll help you feel connected to who you really are as a spiritual being.
This is what you need at this moment: to connect with the feeling of who you are, to read the Emmanuel books, and to read the books by Jerry and Esther Hicks on manifesting so your mind has something to do. Start slowly. Create little things at first. When you see you can do this, the feeling of loneliness will definitely go away because you’ll have connected to who you really are.
Pedro says, I feel far away from home even when I’m in my house. The Council says it’s the realm of spirit that you miss. Pedro says, I’m always looking at the past with a sense of longing to get there, but I know it’s impossible. The Council says it’s going forward that you need to focus on. The way you want to go forward and manifest the future you wish for is by thinking of how you wish your future to be.
Pedro says, As if that isn’t enough, I’m feeling a heavy mixture of emotion that’s tearing me up and bringing on an identity crisis. The worst thing is that I don’t have any planning or expectations for the future. The Council says we’ve given you some plans and some direction now. When you do the meditation or the chakra breathing and read the Emmanuel books and books on manifesting by Jerry and Esther Hicks, you’ll begin to get ideas. They’ll come when you do the inner work.
Pedro says, I don’t have any friends, I don’t like my family, and I don’t know what to do. My whole life seems like a bad trip that never ends. The Council says when you find you don’t like your family or others and you don’t want friends, it’s because you haven’t gotten the understanding from your spiritual self that these people are all here with what you’d call their baggage, their challenges, and their situations. Look at these people differently and try to think of them as spirits in physical bodies. They’re here with their wishes for this lifetime. See if you can get an idea of what’s going on for these people.

Have My Past Lives Influenced My Suffering in My Current Life?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Mari, who asks which of her past lives has influenced her suffering in her current life?
The Council says you wished to have a life where you could learn from the suffering in a past life. The one big past life we see affecting your current life was when you were Polish and were put into Nazi concentration camps.
In these camps you saw much suffering. You tried to help the people, but you weren’t successful. In that particular lifetime you were overwhelmed and depressed from seeing the suffering around you. You didn’t want to continue living because you were concerned you were unable to help anyone else.
In your current life you wanted to bring in all the emotions you went through and all the suffering you saw in that past life in the concentration camps so you could understand, on a much smaller level, what these people felt. You wanted to have that feeling so you could try to heal yourself while you were going through what these people went through in that life. Because you were unable to help these people and you felt you didn’t grow and you weren’t supportive in that life, you chose to go through emotions where you’d have suffering and more control in the healing of it.
This is the experience you wanted to have in your current lifetime. You want to do everything in this lifetime to heal your depression and the physical infirmities and to have more understanding and compassion for yourself as you go through this.
In that past life you had lots of compassion and a lot of feeling for these people that were suffering. And in that life you always had the hope that maybe you’d get out of the camps and maybe these people would survive. You had hope. In your current life you want to find that hope again, but have it for yourself.
Now you’re experiencing the other side of the coin. On this level, when you go through all the things you go through, do you understand how it makes you feel? What can you do, in any small way, to change your experience for the better rather than stay in it? Do you grab onto the hope you had in that past life and brought with you into your current life? Are you using this hope? Are you learning about healing with your mind and with energy? What are you doing to help yourself? This is the experience you wanted.
Know that you have the ability to heal yourself. We ask you to find the hope and don’t give up. You didn’t give up in the past life in the concentration camps, which was a tremendous thing. In your current life, because you’re going through similar things, the hope you’re supposed to have is for you. Your challenge is to have confidence in yourself and know that you are the healer and you are the creator in your life. Don’t stay in a state of hopelessness. Do everything you can, even in the smallest ways, to begin helping yourself, and you will see things change for the better.
Begin with the chakra breathing. Read books on spirit. Read books on life after life and life between lives to get ideas about how you planned your life. Know that you set all of this up. In spirit you were sure you’d be able to change your depression. We want to tell you that you can. Try and feel the courage you had in the concentration camps. Try and feel the love you had for all those people and yourself in that lifetime, and how you willed yourself to get through it and help everyone else. You can change your current life. You can turn it around. It’s not hopeless. You didn’t plan for a hopeless life.

What Past Lives Will Help Me with My Health & Income Struggles?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Rob, who asks which of his past lifetimes will help him succeed in his current life and deal with his income and health struggles.
The Council says three main past lives that come up right away, which means you are dealing with them on some level, are about health. In a lifetime during the plague you were a physician. You went around trying to help people, but you weren’t very successful because a lot of people weren’t allowed to come out of their homes, and this disturbed you.
In an American Indian lifeme you were a medicine man who was able to connect with the elements and heal people in your tribe. You believed everyone was able to heal themselves and you tried to teach that. More and more you wanted for everyone to be able to heal themselves.
During the Revolutionary War you were a physician again. You worked on the soldiers, many of whom you were unable to save. In these three lives you were concerned with health, helping people, and trying to get people to understand they were able to do things to help themselves. You were very interested in having people connect with their thoughts and seeing themselves healing.
In your current life you’ve created to a lesser extent than your past lives, some problems with health. You want to be able to heal yourself with the power of your mind, and some help from physicians when necessary. You wanted to read and learn about healing yourself.
We suggest you meditate. Read any and all books you can find on energy healing. Learn to heal your chakras and do the chakra breathing on a weekly basis. Try to work with positive visualization as well as what you learn from the energy healing.
There was a lifetime where you had a business with your brother. That life didn’t so much affect your current life, but you wanted to turn that life around. Your brother wanted to run your business one way and you wanted to run it another. A lot of the things you did in this business lost money for you and your brother.
In your current life you wanted to come in and have some sort of business. Something you could work and run yourself and see it succeed. In your meditations we ask you to concentrate on these lives and see what else you can remember. See what you can think about and use in your current life to help you on your path.

Why Would I Choose This Life and How Can I Have Hope?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Mari, who wonders why she’d choose the life she’s living and how she can have hope? Mari says, I had a very unhappy childhood. I’ve been depressed all my life and I discovered I wasn’t able to practice a profession I prepared for because of a cognitive impairment, which could be due to the long-lasting depression. I’m currently working in an unfulfilling job. I’m on medication that isn’t working after trying many. I’m unhappy and feel trapped in my marriage. I don’t have many friends or much support except for mental health professionals. Sometimes life seems like it’s too much. Can you advise what to do? It just seems so hopeless.
The Council says for you, because of your depression and hopeless feeling, we’d suggest reading the three Emmanuel books by Pat Rodegast and Ask And It Is Given, by Esther and Jerry Hicks. This will lighten your vibration a little.
We feel the depression you’re going through can be changed if you learn to do the chakra breathing we recommend in other posts, learn to meditate, and start reading more spiritual books. Do these every day. We feel that in time when you start to understand who you truly are as a spiritual being and what you can create, your depression will lessen and in time you won’t need the medication you’ve been taking. But you must take the step of working on yourself first.
Find thoughts that make you happy, even if you make these thoughts up and they haven’t really happened, but they are thoughts of things you want to happen. This will lighten your vibration and you’ll see, as you feel lighter and lighter, your life will begin to change for the better.
We see what you’ve created is finding another form of employment that would ideally be outside and more with nature, either working on a farm or in a nursery. If that isn’t possible, maybe working in a plant store. Be around nature. For you, walking barefoot in water would help. All of this will change how you feel. It will help your career and your marriage.
What keeps you down is the looking outward. You think the marriage and the job isn’t what you want, but it is what you want. And it will be more of what you want if you work on yourself with your good thoughts, meditation, chakra breathing, and reading the spiritual books. This will begin to turn your life around and turn it into more of what you want.

How Can I Make Sense of My Life Problems and Move Forward?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, JD, who asks for help making sense of problems in his life and how he can move forward. He says: I have numerous symptoms of inattentive ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder), maladaptive daydreaming, and high social anxiety. When I was young I developed double vision, and in my mid-teens I developed incontinence, possibly due to consuming a lot of liquid one day and something in my urinary system broke.
The Council says all these ailments JD is complaining about were set up by you in spirit before you came into this life because you wanted to be more self-accepting and confident. This involved your taking a physical and emotional path to make you feel less than who you truly are. With all these ailments there are many ways you can help yourself, but what you wanted to experience was these ailments and then to find a way other than medical to deal with these symptoms.
Your body is always trying to talk to you to let you know when it doesn’t feel right, to let you know where energy is stuck, and what needs your attention. Because you’re having physical problems throughout your body, The Council recommends you take one section of your body at a time. Talk to that part of your body and ask it what it’s trying to show you. Be patient. You’ll receive an answer.
If you don’t agree with what your body is telling you or you’d like to move on because the lesson is too painful, you can tell your body that you’d like another way to learn. You have to communicate with your body rather than looking for an answer outside yourself. When your body creates so many difficulties, it’s trying to find answers to emotional problems. What does this make you feel like? You set up this situation in spirit because you wanted to learn about self-confidence, which we see you don’t have because you feel less than everyone else.
After you talk to the body we suggest you meditate with your eyes closed and ask your body what it needs. No matter what your body shows you, even if it shows you a peanut, put this image where that part of your body hurts. There’s a meaning to what your body shows you whether you understand it or not. It’s your subconscious trying to give you answers.
We suggest you do the chakra breathing meditation often and concentrate on the chakra of the area you’re working on.
On a physical level, Chiropractic and Craniosacral adjustments will align your body to allow energy to flow through it properly. When your body hurts it’s the way that part of your body tells you it has no energy and you’re not allowing enough energy to come through. These adjustments will help you get the physical energy moving. This will take a lot of work on your part.
Then work on feeling confident. What can you do that makes you feel proud of yourself? Is it a hobby? Do you have good intuition? Is it eating well? Is it a hobby you’d like to do only for yourself and then develop it and see how good you can get at this? This will allow you to feel joy and feel kinder to yourself. When you get into this vibration it will allow your body to relax, it allows the blockages to be moved, and it allows the energy to come into your body. This will begin your healing.
JD says, in my early 20s I developed a persistent sty on my right eye and then a ringing in my right ear that I can’t really hear out of. The Council says this is your body telling you you’re not seeing and hearing things clearly. You’re experiencing life through a filter you’ve set up for yourself that makes you feel less than others.
JD says I think sitting on the computer and using a mouse tired out my hand and arm and the pain went all the way up to my ear. Once again it feels like something inside me broke. I’m concerned about all these physical problems because I’m not even 30 years old yet.
The Council says they can assure JD nothing inside of him is broken. It’s stuck energy. It’s the emotional healing you need concerning how you see yourself and how you move forward to change your situation. This is a big challenge you’ve created for yourself, but you never create these challenges without having the answers available to you.
JD asks what the source of all these problems is and is there anything he can do about it? The Council repeats that a lot of meditation will help, even if you can just sit and picture beautiful white light coming in the top of your head, going down your arms to your fingers and down your legs to your toes to begin to clear out the stuck energy.
JD says I only earn a minimum amount and I’d like to earn $50,000 a year. However, the problems I’ve mentioned have resulted in me having little experience, skills, connections, or education. The Council says you’ll need more education in your future.
We’d like you and everyone else to understand on a group level we’ve all agreed to be in this time where there are employment problems, health problems, and financial problems. Because everyone has agreed to experience these problems, when everyone works on themselves and their challenges, things will begin to change. You’ll not only heal yourself, but you also heal the entire reality you’re living in. Change will begin. There will be jobs in the future. There will be better health. There will be less tension in this world.
You’ve all created this situation and this quiet time so there can be introspection that allows you to search yourselves and see what’s truly important – to feel more love for your family and friends. Bringing in this love and having these kinds of thoughts will change everything.
JD asks for advice on what he can do to earn more money. He says: I think I might have to find an alternative to a typical nine to five job and work from home because of my numerous problems, but I have no idea what to do. The Council says it won’t be necessary in the future to work from home. This isn’t what you set up in spirit and isn’t what’s wanted by your higher self. Do the work we’ve recommended and you’ll begin to feel the change in how you think, how you feel physically, and what you’re able to bring into your life.

Tell Me About My Kundalini
This post answers a question for The Council from a reader named, Luana, who asks about her kundalini. She says the electricity she feels is very real and she feels she has to control all her emotions. Luana closes by asking for help.
The Council says the kundalini is an energy center in your first chakra you can awaken through meditation or visualization, working with different colors of each chakra. The electricity you feel won’t make your hair stand up or hurt you in any way. And many people believe working with kundalini energy requires controlling your emotions.
When you learn to work with kundalini energy you bring it about by visualizing your energy rising from one chakra to another. You do this slowly and visualize each step. You’ll get a tingling feeling, but there’s nothing to be afraid of.
Bring your kundalini up to the heart chakra and stop there. When your kundalini comes into your heart you’ll feel a lot of love, you’ll be able to forgive more, and you’ll be aware of accepting more love in your life for yourself and others.
There are myths that when you bring the kundalini energy all the way up your spine to the top of your head and beyond you can travel to other planes and other lives, but we want your to know you don’t have to work with your kundalini to do that. You can also accomplish this with meditation and visualization.
If you do the chakra breathing we recommend in another post, the kundalini energy will rise by itself without any special effort on your part.
Go slow with your exploration of your kundalini energy. In a past life you dabbled quite a bit in the occult, you were taken with its power, and did what you would consider some not very nice things. In your current life we recommend you go slowly with this energy and only do good.

How Can I Allow More Well-Being into My Life After Cancer and Weight Gain?
This post answers a question for The Council from a woman named, Susan, in response to our post, Healing Ovarian Cancer. She says I was diagnosed with somethig similar to ovarian cancer two years ago. I haven’t been given chemotherapy, but instead I’m taking new drugs with mild side effects.
The Council says because you are the creator of your life according to what you believe (whether your afraid of chemotherapy or you knew there could be an easier drug to take), you have created this easier way. It’s your belief.
Susan says she was filled with fear at first, but I’ve learned about the Law of Attraction from Abraham’s teachings and because of these teachings I actually live a joyful life.
Recently I was feeling unhappy about gaining weight, which I thought was caused by hormone tablets I take. Now I know this has just been my belief. The Council says what you’ve created is, coming through your cancer and now you put the challenge of gaining weight on top of the cancer. Instead of loosing hope and being depressed, how does it feel to have this weight gain? What are you learning from it?
Your weight gain doesn’t have to remain this way. Repeatedly ask yourself in quiet time or meditation, why did I create this weight gain? Why do I want to go through this and what can I learn from it? Once you see what you’re learning from the weight gain and you’ve learned enough, your weight won’t be a problem anymore.
Susan says she thinks she’s doing all she knows to allow her well-being and she asks The Council if they have any additional advice. The Council suggests Susan surround herself in love everyday. Visualizing yourself in a pink bubble does wonders for how you feel and works on all levels of healing. Pay attention to your chakras and do the chakra breathing we recomment in another post.
The Council says there aren’t any particular past life considerations for Susan’s cancer and her weight gain. It was your wish in spirit to be focused on these challenges. What you wanted was to have an experience you could learn from.
You’ll be very surprised how quickly your dis-ease all changes when you pay attention to what you’ve learned through cancer, weight gain, your belief systems, and the people around you.

Understanding Past Lives to Heal Drug and Alcohol Addiction
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Vlad, who says I’ve been battling drug and alcohol addiction for most of my life and nothing I try seems to release me from these addictions. I’d like to find peace for myself on this Earth before my time is up.
The Council says it’s wonderful you’ve tried many ways to heal your addictions and there were lessons in that for you, but you’ve come into this life to bring information about reincarnation. It’s also important to learn how to meditate. Chakra breathing will help you immensely. But what you came into this life for was to understand and bring forward the ideas of reincarnation.
Read all the books you can on reincarnation. Read books on life between lives. Read books on lessons that are set up before you came into this life. And read books on why you chose to be addicted to drugs and alcohol. As you read you’ll get more understanding on these topics. Then you can get information in meditation and dreams.
Read Brian Weiss, Robert Schwartz, and Michael Newton. These books will have the information you need to move forward, feel better about yourself, have more understanding, and heal yourself. Begin by reading Only Love is Real, by Brian Weiss. Then go into the works of Robert Schwartz and Michael Newton. These will give you more understanding how you plan each lifetime.
You’re one of many people who have prepared in spirit to go into a problem, learn about past lives to heal this problem, and bring that information forward to share it with other people.
You had a past life as an alcoholic who died early from drinking-related disease. This was a very unhappy life, which you tried to heal by drinking to forget, but that didn’t work. You came back into this life to find another way to heal this problem. The healing comes by staying in the problem, going through it, and then getting understanding why you created this problem.
In a different life you were a physician who helped many sick people, but never thought you did enough. In your current life maybe you have feelings about not being able to do enough and this comes from that lifetime. This memory is brought in on a subconscious level, but you don’t know that until you learn about past lives and how they affect you in your current life and how you can change this problem now. When you have this understanding you’ll have more choices than you can imagine.
Don’t be afraid to share what you’re learning about reincarnation with other people. You’re here to bring this information in. You have an important journey this time around as a soul who has gone through a lot, but can heal. You need to share this information.

How Can I Help My Mom and Dad Heal Their Health Issues?
This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, LookingForGuidance, who says their Mom and Dad live far from them and recently learned they have health issues and want to know how they can help them get better.
The Council says these physical pains are a way to get your parents in touch with more healing that is energy oriented. Yoga is a wonderful idea and chakra breathing is necessary for both parents, especially the areas of the chest and solar plexus. They are both a little stagnant in the heart area. When the energy moves more in this area it will have a beneficial affect the shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers. Any sort of application of heat will be a benefit to your parents. Whether it’s swimming in a hot pool or lightly applied heat packs or a heating pad on the shoulders, back, and chest.
Any reading on energy healing and classes on Yoga, Chi Gong, Tai Chi, Reiki, Reconnection, Polarity, and anything else that works with energy is needed at this time and will be useful.
The Council says these physical health issues have been created by them to lead them on a more spiritual path and learning about energy. This is how people learned how to heal many years ago. There’s a desire to go on this natural way and that’s why these issues have manifested.

How Can I Get Rid of This Hip Pain?
This post answers a question for The Council from a reader named, Pam, who says for some months now I’ve been dealing with hip pain that no amount of acupuncture, massage, or chiropractic treatment has been able to fix other than temporarily. I feel like this stuck energy has something to do with my mother who is now in spirit. Do you have any insight on how I can move this old energy out of my body and into the light?
The Council begins by saying Pam’s hip pain has nothing to do with her mother, but an understanding of why she’s having this pain will help her heal it.
In another lifetime as a young boy in the middle 1800s in London you were born with one leg shorter than the other, which gave you a limp and constant hip pain. You were a very advanced thinker for that time, you had a lot of faith and hope, and you believed somehow in your mind you could speak to your body and heal your pain because you had done healing in other lifetimes. Unfortunately you died around the age of 15 and didn’t have a chance to heal yourself.
Coming into your current lifetime you said let me continue this again and find out how the mind works with the body and what I can do to implement that healing. The pain in your hip that nothing else is helping is from that other lifetime. Ask for information in your dreams or meditations on this other lifetime.
The Council suggests taking the Edgar Cayce castor oil pack and wrapping it completely around both hips. Do it every day for 20-30 minutes for a week then take a week off. While you’re doing this you should be speaking to the cells in your body and letting them know your body is able to heal and to release this memory from this other life.
Do this for a month then stop doing it for around three weeks, but during this rest period stretch your hamstring muscles in your legs. When the three week rest period is finished go back to the castor oil packs and repeat this process until you see a great deal of improvement. Once you begin to see this improvement your mind will take over and heal your body.
The Council also recommends doing chakra breathing for all seven chakras. Pam can refer to our post, Meditations to Balance and Align Your Chakras, for instructions on chakra breathing. The meditation in that post and its symbols isn’t meant to be used daily, but you can use use the colors in the chakras whenever you feel like it.
Pam wanted to bring this hip pain back into her current lifetime so she could release the past and heal it with the castor oil packs and speaking to her body with her mind. Your body knows how to heal. Allow your inner physician to take over.
