Ask The Council

What will you ask Spirit?

Relationship, Dark Magic, and Asexuality Guidance

This post is inspired by questions from a reader named Gabriela, who previously asked The Council a relationship question. Now she’s following up on her previous question as well as asking about dark magic and her choice to be asexual.

Relationship

Gabriela says when she tried to change the focus of her friendship with a women named Laura to a more romantic one it went badly. The Council asks if Gabriela was appreciating this friendship? They say Gabriela must appreciate the friendship first and then experience where this goes.

Gabriela asks The Council to shed light on past lives she and Laura have lived together and why they can’t seem to get together in this lifetime. The Council says they shared many lives together, but in the one that’s affecting their current lifetime, they had a happy relationship. What they intended in their current life was to come together as friends, which is a different kind of relationship than in their past life.

Gabriela carries with her memories of this past lifetime and wants a more romantic relationship in their current lifetime. Her friend Laura is remembering on an unconscious level that the two of them agreed in spirit to have a warm and close friendship. They are both in the same relationship, but have different ideas how this relationship should be. The Council says if Gabriela can accept a friendship, they feel she’d get a lot from this and would be able to find different partner to have a romantic relationship with.

Gabriela is the creator of her reality, and if she still wants a romantic relationship with Laura and if she has a strong belief in this, and if she’s able to concentrate on this romantic relationship without doubt, The Council says it can be created. But they add, Gabriela should be open to experiencing a friendship with Laura without pushing it to something beyond this, and she can find great happiness in this.

The Council says the friendship that’s wanted by both of them is capable of changing into something more, but Gabriela must experience the friendship first. That was the agreement. Once that’s done for a period of time, the friendship is capable of changing into something more romantic.

Dark Magic Rituals

Next Gabriela raises the subject of dark magic rituals and asks what The Council has to say about them. She believes that because these rituals go against other people’s free will, she is skeptical of them, but she also knows people get results with these rituals and asks how this is possible.

The Council says it’s your intention and your focus on what you’re trying to create that’s behind these rituals. Your focus is the magic, whether it be black magic, white magic, good magic, or bad magic. If you wish to harm someone, and you focus on it, you can create this in your reality. If you wish good for someone and you focus on it, you can also create this in your reality. The ritual helps you focus. On the subject of creating dark magic The Council says there is free will and everyone is able to create whatever they wish to experience.

Asexuality

Gabriela asks The Council why people are born asexual like her, because she says it can be a life-long loneliness sentence. The Council says the souls that come into this human reality in any way that is thought of as different are here for one purpose: to have the people around them accept them and show love no matter what you are.  We are all here to bring the vibration of love from spirit into our physical reality.

Listen to our entire 10-minute session with The Council (below) to hear all their guidance for Gabriela and the rest of us, and let us know what you think.

Afraid Abortion Wasn’t Pre-Planned and the Spirit Won’t Return

This post is inspired by a reader named Andrea who aborted her child after a 13-week pregnancy. Andrea says she doesn’t feel this abortion was pre-planned. She instead believes she allowed her free will to interfere and abort what she feels was her only chance at having a child. Andrea begged the spirit of her aborted child to come back to her in a future pregnancy, but she guesses this is unlikely because she’s 39 years old.

The first thing The Council says in this session is that abortions are always pre-planned. Then they say from where they are in spirit they don’t have to guess about Andrea becoming pregnant again. This spirit is waiting to return if this is truly what she wants.

The Council suggests Andrea ask if she’s beginning to understand she is a spirit in a physical body. If she’s not there yet, she needs to do some research on this and on pre-birth planning and past lives. She needs to get to a place where she knows there’s a reason for everything that happens.

The Council says Andrea’s abortion has brought her to a place where she needs to look deeper into these subjects of pre-birth planning and past lives, and that’s why she’s arrived at this point. When she’s able to let go of the thought that this abortion happened because her free will made a wrong decision, she’ll realize she’s right on track.

Now she should move forward and learn about other realities, and how we bring talent and challenges from these other lifetimes into our current lifetime. When she’s able to let go of the idea that something happened to her and embrace the idea she’s creating what happens, she’ll then be in a new place where she can start creating what she wants. And if a child is desired at that  time, the spirit will return to Andrea because it’s agreed to and because there is a desire to be together again.

Listen to this short, but powerful 5-minute session with The Council to receive all of their guidance for Andrea and the rest of us. And let us know what you think, or if you have a question of your own for The Council.

Remembering You Are Spirit – Free Will – Other Lifetimes – Reason for Poverty

This post is inspired by a comment from Tracy on a post we published in April 2013, which was before we made recordings of sessions with The Council available. That post answered one of four interesting questions from a reader named Jose about why we fail to remember who we are as spiritual beings in our physical life.

Tracy asks a few questions beginning with, “What if we don’t succeed on any level?” And ending with a comment about seeing the mistakes we’ve made, “but have no power left to sort it out, and already feel dead.”

As we re-read the post Tracy commented on, we decided to make a recording of it available in this post in the hope it might be helpful to Tracy and other readers, at least until we can publish a post to answer Tracy’s questions. While the earlier post answers only one of Jose’s questions, the following recording has The Council’s answers to all four of Jose’s questions. In case you’re interested, here are the five posts we published back in 2013 to answer these questions.

  1. Every Question Is Important
  2. Why Do People Appear Unable to Fulfill a Spiritual Intention to Have Fun and Remember Who We Are?
  3. Does Spirit’s Pre-Birth Planning Negate Human Free Will?
  4. Future Lives, Connecting with Famous ‘Dead’ People, & the Importance of the Present
  5. What Is Spirit Up To?

Thank you for your questions and comments, Tracy. We’ll do our best to get The Council’s answers and publish a recording of the session in the near future. In the meantime we hope our readers will listen to the following recording of our session which prompted those questions and let us know what you think.

Understanding Your Spiritual Intentions for Your Human Experiences

This post is inspired by a question from Susan, who wants to know why some people (particularly a man she knows) experience childhood abuse or other types of trauma and end up with addictions, unemployed, and homeless; and other people (particularly Susan) move past their childhood trauma and take advantage of opportunities to improve their life.

What humans and spirit consider improvement can be very different

“But what you do not understand here is that your idea of what he needs to improve his life, and what his spirit needs to improve his life, is totally different. Is that understood?”

–The Council
(Text formatted like above throughout the post represents quotations from the session)

This was intriguing and we spent most of the session getting a better understanding of what The Council meant by this. The result was some impressive insights into the relationship between who you are a human being and who you are as a spiritual being. As an added bonus The Council offered some fascinating insights into the subject of multiple realities.

You have no idea what spirit wishes

The Council continued from their previous comment above:

“So if you [Susan] feel that he has had several opportunities to change his life or perhaps somehow deal differently with his abuse, yes that would make sense to many. But you have no idea what his spirit wishes.

“And what we see here is that it is his wish to be in this lifetime and to experience this addiction, to experience the abuse from what you would consider an unhealthy attitude toward what he has come through.

“What you do not know is that he has experienced this before (or as we would say, now [but] in another reality) and he has experienced it where he is dealing differently with his abuse and (perhaps) handling it in (what you would consider) a much better way [in his current reality]. Is that understood?”

Near Death Experiences as Evidence of Spiritual Reality

A reader named Jose wants to know why some people who have a near death experience (NDE) are able to come back to their physical body, and others just have a physical death experience and don’t come back.

From his reading about near death experiences, Jose says it appears that as you cross over from physical reality to spiritual reality, you realize your spiritual magnificence and ability to cure your physical body of any disease or catastrophic accident, and live a wonderful life. With this in mind Jose wants to know why anyone wouldn’t return to their physical body after realizing such power, particularly if they could also prevent loved ones from experiencing the emotional pain and suffering that often occurs when someone departs physical reality.

When You are No Longer in Your Physical Body, You are Still You

“We would like to say here that there are many that have near death experiences and do not have any memory of it, because those who have the near death experience and come back to share it with others, this was part of their plan incarnating into this lifetime.

“At this particular time on a planetary level, many of the souls that are living in the physical body are learning about being spirits in this physical body. But they want some proof that there is more, [that] there is a beyond, that they have come in, that they can (so to speak) die and come back.

“And so the ones that have the near death experiences and return to share that… that was part of their purpose. Much of the information they receive when they are in that near death state… all of it is not remembered and brought back with them. So what is brought back and shared is to help others know that there is a great beyond; there is a better place; there is a spiritual eternity that goes on.”

“The people that do have these near death experiences and come back to share that, it was their agreement that this would happen and they would be carriers of the messages, with proof of what they experienced: that there is more than just living in this physical body.”

“And so it was also planned that all ages would have this experience, and would have proof of what was going on when they were (so-called) dead: that they knew…what was being said, what was going on, who was there. So you have young children experiencing this, old people experiencing [this], middle-aged people [experiencing this].”

“And so when so many different ages and types of people all over your planet are having this experience, it is to bring that information with (what you would say) solid proof that you are a spirit in a physical body. And when you are no longer in that physical body, you are still you. You still exist. Is that understood?”

—The Council
(The formatting above throughout this post represents The Council’s comments during our session. Text [in brackets] in these quotations has been added to improve readability and clarity when this seems useful.)

The Council repeatedly emphasized that not everyone who has a near death experience remembers the magnificence of their spiritual reality when they return to physical reality. Increasing numbers of people are able to remember because this is their intention as a spiritual being, and because they agreed to have this experience to help other souls remember you are part of a spiritual reality beyond your physical experience.

The proof The Council mentions is the ability of people who’ve had near death experiences to accurately report physical reality occurrences that took place while their physical body is unconscious, often at a distance from their physical body that leaves no other explanation for this awareness other than a non-physical/spiritual explanation.

If you believe that who you are will cease to exist when life passes from your body, The Council reminds you that you are the life that passes from your physical body. Who you truly are is the eternal life energy that temporarily occupies your human body.

What About Free Will?

Jose’s question also mentions the aspect of near death experience reports where people say they were told it wasn’t their time to leave their physical body and they were supposed to return to physical reality in order to fulfill some purpose. Jose asks where free will comes in if souls are prevented from making the transition from physical to spiritual reality.

“When you are told to go back, you are also reminded why. And so if many do not remember, they usually will come back saying that they had another purpose, or it wasn’t fulfilled, [or] it wasn’t their time. But the choice is always in the spirit whether to return or not.

“But as we said, so much is experienced that is not remembered [that] you may come back and say, ‘I was told to come back.’ But in reality you choose to come back because of what you’ve experienced, and what you’ve heard, and what you know when you were in the spiritual dimension with us.”

The Council has emphasized in several sessions that your free will as a spiritual being is never compromised. But from your human point of view this can seem questionable if you feel your human desires aren’t being satisfied because something is preventing it.

In Closing

The Council is showing quite a bit of interest in near death experiences lately and we’re beginning to understand why. Many of these reports are of experiences that are difficult to explain by the physical reality conventions that modern societies have come to believe in and depend on. It’s exciting to imagine these reports of near death experiences are helping persuade people that awareness that spiritual reality is at least as important as awareness of physical reality.

Spirit Is Always Showing You the Way

Spirit is always leading you
on your journey.

Because of free will
you do not always choose
to follow on this path.

You sometimes pick another road
with different experiences.

But spirit will always
keep showing you the way.

It knows exactly
what you want to do.

It will always
find an easier way.

It will always reroute you
and get you were you want to be.

Does Spirit’s Pre-Birth Planning Negate Human Free Will?

This post is third in a series describing a session with The Council on Saturday, March 30, 2013 to answer questions from Jose, Michelle, and D. This post focuses on the first of Jose’s four questions and it’s about guidance from The Council in a recent post and the issue of free will:

“In the case of what was shared in Maria’s Plan for a Spiritual Leap, it appears that the spiritual agreement made prior to the incarnation is more powerful than Maria or her friend’s “godly” power to manifest a new reality of survival and togetherness in this lifetime, as if there is no free will in this incarnation.” —Jose

February 25, 2011 Daily Thought

Choose

You are a powerful being.

When you decided to enter physical form
You understood that you had free will
And the power to create all you desire.

You’re ability to choose
Is your power.

You can choose to live your life the way it’s going,
Or choose at any time to change it.

You can choose to change your thoughts
And you can choose to change your actions.
You can even choose the emotions that you experience.

Your power comes with the recognition
That you have a choice
In everything you do.

You get to choose every step of your journey

A Broken Sacred Contract and How to Move On

This post is inspired by a question for The Council from Chris who asks how to move on when someone she feels she was meant to spend her life with broke a sacred contract by leaving. She also asks if it’s possible to find another partner under the circumstances.

Sacred Contracts

The Council observes that souls frequently agree to come into physical bodies during the same lifetime and help each other in their physical lives, but the Council isn’t inclined to understand these agreements as binding sacred contracts, as implied by Chris’s question. The Council believes the idea of an unchangeable binding sacred contract goes against one of the most important principles in all of creation: the free will that all humans, all souls, all spirit is given by our creator to choose, in any moment, from an infinite variety of possibilities. The Council’s idea of a sacred contract is the agreement each soul makes to unconditionally love the part of itself that comes to experience life in a physical body.
