How Can I Learn To Speak Up For Myself?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named Shy Girl.

Shy Girl: Hi, Cynthia and Bob. Does The Council have any advice on how I can move on from the effects of selective mutism? When I was four years old, I moved to a new country with my family. On the first day attending a new school, I was introduced to my new class, and just having them look at me triggered my selective mutism. I couldn’t speak for the first two years at school, and it took me a while to find the courage to talk.

Although I have no problem speaking up now, I often find that when I’m in a new situation or feel uncomfortable, I tend to withdraw inward and dim what I truly want to express, experiencing physical symptoms like blushing and feeling small. It’s affecting my courage and my ability to speak up when it counts the most, like in dating.

Council: And so what we see here is – of course being preplanned that you would go through this – you wanted to learn what it would be like to feel in these different situations, not being able to talk.

In another lifetime you had a stutter that affected you. And in that lifetime, you would wish that you could talk regularly, without the stutter; that you could talk slowly, and take your time, and be understood, and feel good with it. So in this lifetime you’re trying to heal that other lifetime with the stutter that was very painful.

So we would say, when you find yourself blushing or having difficulty speaking, what are the thoughts that are running through your head? When you discover what it is, you are to replace them with thoughts like, “I can speak. This is so wonderful. I am so grateful. I can take my time. I can speak, and people will hear me and understand what I say.”

So that’s why you’ve created it in this lifetime, because you wanted to feel the gratefulness of being calm, and taking your time, and just speaking. So you have created it perfectly. And now we would say, do the work. Of course, helping the body, it would be good to do the chakra breathing, especially the throat, so it would have more energy to work the way you want it to.

And just remember that whatever it is that you want, pretend you have it already. And actually, in this lifetime, you do have it already because you left the stuttering behind.

Shy Girl: Can you sense what guidance my spirit is trying to tell me?

Council: Your spirit is trying to get you to follow through on what you planned, to feel the difference, to perhaps now learn about the stuttering and compare how you would feel when you had that to what you have now.

And what you are looking for is to find the feeling of gratefulness. When you reach that point, it will begin to bother you less and less – less blushing, less being shy. You will just be overcome with gratefulness that you can speak and people can hear you, and understand, and not walk away and make fun like they did in your past life.

Shy Girl: I know that my true self is more extroverted and likes exploring new places, but my fear hinders my ability to completely enjoy myself in new situations. I want to maintain my true energy constantly and consistently, and be myself regardless of what situation I’m in.

Council: And sometimes we find there is an exercise where you look in the mirror and you speak to yourself in the mirror, and watch your eyes as you’re speaking, and how you feel. And as you begin to recognize the gratefulness of what you have, you will put that inside of you, and that will grow stronger and stronger. So as you begin the exercise of speaking in a mirror, it will become easier and easier for you. And you will see that little by little, feeling that you are shy or that you don’t like the way you speak, or that there is a problem, that will begin to fade.

And so we wish you love, and peace, and happiness on your journey, and just enjoy. Find things to enjoy, and the rest will take care of itself.

How Do I Eliminate Scrambled Energy And Tension In My Body?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Hans.

Hans: Hi, Cynthia, and The Council. I would like to ask about the morning tension that I’ve been experiencing for the last decade. In the morning it feels as if my energy has been scrambled, and there is a general tension in my body, especially in the stomach. Luckily I’m able to do energy healing sessions with myself, and it takes me about an hour and a half every day to get clear again.

Council: A lot of that scrambling, what we see, is from coming back from travel that you have at night (in your sleep), places you’ve been, and it’s trying to get your energy to a way that is needed here.

Also, starting about 5 O’clock in the morning, it is usually when, where you live, mostly on this planet, things become awake, and a lot of energy starts to flow as each soul is getting awake, and it jumbles a lot of energy. So as the world is waking up, because you are so sensitive, you are picking up this energy. So we do advise you to do the chakra breathing in the morning. That will help, but it is all this change in energy that is causing this disturbance.

Hans: But sometimes the tension remains the whole day. I’m quite a highly sensitive being and try to take good care of myself, but the morning tension keeps showing up. This can be very frustrating and discouraging. Can you shine your light on this and give me good advice on how to overcome it? Thanks a lot in advance. Regards, Hans.

Council: Well what we find does help a lot of people, as you’re going to bed, you (funny you said, “Shine your light,”) put a light around yourself as you go to sleep. And when you wake up, it should be a lot better. But think that this light has been around you, and that will help you ease into the energy that you’re picking up from everyone, and yourself from the travel.

Also on a physical level, there’s an exercise for the brain that they use for a lot of people who have had strokes, and it helps for so many reasons. But before you go to sleep, so you have a better, more restful sleep, and this is called the Cross-Crawl, which means you lift one arm and the opposite leg at the same time. So you can sit down or lay down and raise your left arm and your right leg at the same time. Then you switch. Then you lift your right arm and your left leg. And you do that 10, 12, a few times, and that reframes the brain. It gets your brain to work better. It aligns it with your body. So you can try that also before you go to sleep.

We are sending you all love and light that is very much needed right now. Many, many people are having old, old issues coming up, old problems that many of you are trying to heal before you go forward into a new life and into better experiences. So we say, meditate. Meditate, meditate, meditate.

Chakra Breathing and Energy Healing for Morning Relief

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Hans.

Hans: Hi, Cynthia, and The Council. I’d like to ask about the morning tension I’ve been experiencing for the last decade. In the morning it feels as if my energy has been scrambled, and there’s a general tension in the body, especially in the stomach. Luckily I’m able to do energy healings with myself, and it takes me about an hour and a half to get clear again.

Council: What we see is a lot of that scrambling is coming back from travel that you have at night (astral projection or soul travel), places you’ve been, and it’s trying to get your energy the way it’s needed here.

Council: Well what we find does help a lot of people, as you’re going to bed – it’s funny you said, “Shine your light,” – but put (imagine) a light around yourself as you go to sleep, and when you wake up it should be a lot better. But think that this light has been around you, and that will help you ease into the energy that you’re picking up from everyone, and yourself from your travels.

Also, on a physical level, there’s an exercise for the brain that they use for a lot of people who have had strokes, and it helps for so many reasons, but before you go to sleep, so you have a better and more restful sleep, and this is called the Cross-Crawl, which means you lift one arm and the opposite leg at the same time. Diaphragmatic Breathing Tips for Better Health Recovery

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Cristea17.

Cristea17: Hello, dear ones. I would like to ask The Council a question regarding my health.

Following a surgical procedure I am experiencing difficulty breathing, and complete sleep apnea. The moment I fall asleep my breathing reflex stops. I feel lucky if I somehow manage a few hours of sleep a night. Sometimes I get a full night’s sleep, and sometimes I get none at all. Fortunately it doesn’t happen every day, but it has gotten more often in the past weeks.

I suspect this could be neurological, potentially a side effect of the general anesthesia. Unfortunately the doctors have not provided any answers. They are dismissing my symptoms as anxiety. Over the past few years I have faced numerous health challenges, often involving delayed, incorrect, or incomplete diagnosis, as well as experiences of medical gaslighting. How do I fix my breathing problems, my overall health issues, and this faulty interaction with the medical system?

Council: And so the first thing we would say is to learn diaphramatic breathing. When you breath in, as you bring the air into your body, push your belly out. You’re breathing in, so it’s filling up your belly. Push your belly out. And then as you let the air out of your stomach, bring your stomach all the way in. Bring it it tight, as if you were trying to get your stomach to touch your spine. And you do that several times when you breathe. That will correct your breathing. That will correct many of the organs that need help at this time. And so that is the first thing we would suggest that you do.

Also the chakra breathing will help you. Do that often. Massage helps you. Anything to touch and calm the body and the nerves. Vitamin B is good for you. And as you do these things, you will see an improvement.

How Do I Get This Psychpath To Leave Me Alone?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Anon.

Anon: I have a question. This psychopath keeps cursing and psychically attacking me, and won’t leave me alone. How do I get him to completely leave me and my family alone? I’m really losing the will to live.

Council: Well looking at this we always ask you to take a look at what’s going on for you, because this didn’t just pop in and happen. You’ve created this. There’s a lesson in this.

And so we would say, take a look at feeling vulnerable, take a look at feeling out of control, and these are fears that you have gone through in past lifetimes. Now in your current lifetime it was created differently, but you are saying that this person is attacking you psychically. And so we would like you to look at your experience.

What are you experiencing psychically? Are you collapsing with a loss of energy? Are you unable to eat and your digestion is being affected? Are there terrible, terrible headaches that happen, which is part of being (the word we’ll use) attacked psychically?

So we would say it is very important for you to do the chakra breathing meditation. That will open your chakras, which are very closed down from what we see here. And once that begins to work, you’ll pull in stronger energy so if something is trying to attack you, latch onto you, whatever you believe, this will protect you.

And so it is important to know that you are the creator of this, and we’re sure that’s not a very nice thought, but it’s true. It is happening because you want to learn how to tap into your energy, how to become more powerful, and how to let go of your fears. And so it’s the chakra breathing, it is meditating, it is praying. Whatever helps you feel good.

There are different ways to protect yourself. Put a dark blue energy around yourself that sort of helps you disappear, and you feel that you can walk anywhere, and you would be safe. It is important to work with energy. It is important to work with colors. And that’s why we suggest first the chakra breathing.

There is no force that can attack you, that can do harm to you unless you allow it, unless you are afraid of it. If you were to stand in your power in a white light, there is nothing, absolutely nothing, that can hurt you.

So it is important, at this point, to work on your confidence, on your power, on believing and learning more about being spirit, and you are always protected by spirits that are around.

So this old belief of someone attacking you psychically, taking your life… There are stories of lower spirits that come to someone because they want to take over a person’s life, or they are attracted to their light. No matter what stories that you have heard, or you believe, it will not happen if you do not allow it. You are not out of control. You are not helpless.

Work immediately going to sleep every night and surround yourself with white light. Surround your family with white light. Surround your house with white light. And know, absolutely know, you are safe. It is a lesson that you have created to work on fear and to find your power. That is what’s going on. And all of this will stop, and it will all fade away if you do the work.

And so we send you love, and happiness, and joy, and adventure, and gratitude in everything that you do.

Communicatimg With Your Shadow To Overcome Fear

Bob & Cynthia’s Note: As you may be aware, the vast majority of our posts represent conversations we’ve had with The Council to answer questions our readers have written to us in the Comments boxes that appear at the end of most of our posts. Occasionally a reader who pays us for a private half-hour telephone session with The Council receives guidance that we feel will benefit other readers, and we ask this reader’s permission to publish their session. This post represents one of these private sessions.

Cynthia and I particularly like the following Council guidance in this session: When you try to avoid whatever is in your shadow space, it makes it bigger because the more you are afraid of it, the more you won’t deal with it, [and] it will grow on its own.

We like The Council’s idea that each individual is the creator of whatever is in their shadow, and they have the power to change their shadow. We also like the way The Council’s ideas expressed in previous posts on the power of your personal choice, the importance of what you focus on, and the importance of getting yourself into a place where you feel kind of good to create what you desire., are worked into this session.

We owe a great deal of thanks to the anonymous reader who allowed us to make this session available to all of you. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.


Anonymous: The first question would be if there’s any advice to resolve the war within my mind?

Council: Well what we see in this particular reality that you created is that you wanted to have challenges that took you into good places and not good places, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. But you did want to learn about the positive and about the negative. And so we would say, be open to the challenges that come into your mind. When you become very accepting of both positive and negative answers, little by little it will become clearer.

And is there anything in the negative that you can’t handle, that you find either upsetting, or frightening, or you can’t seem to get a grasp on it? Because we do see in your thoughts and in your mind what goes on. There’s a sort of chaos. It goes back and forth, back and forth. So we would say, what bothers you the most?

Anonymous: So the biggest thing is the fear. There’s a part of me that fears I can’t recover from parental criticism. It just constantly sabotages my opportunities. I want to stay invisible.

Council: So that is part of what you’ve created in this lifetime. So when you think of the criticism from parents or others, anybody in authority, why do you feel that must affect you now? Because there are many people who have gone through bad childhoods and adulthoods, and they realize what they’ve gone through, but don’t let themselves stay in that energy. So why do you feel this fear will hold you back, or that it will bring you down, and that it has a hold on you? Because as you know, your thoughts, how you think about things, whether it’s negative or positive, is going to affect your life. So what is it that you fear and you hold onto?

Anonymous: Well it’s not a conscious thing. It’s like an animal that gets burned. I mean, when I really see fire, it’s just a complete reaction. And so the question is, how does one get over this when it’s just… You know, prayer has not worked, and I can’t seem to convince this part of me that there’s no danger in becoming accomplished.

Council: So we would suggest that you go into this shadow part, or fear-held part. Go right into it because it has a hold on you, whether consciously or unconsciously. So there’s a way you can sit and meditate, and when you go into the shadow part, you can picture it as opening a door and you’re in. Everything that can hold you back, anything that’s fearful, is in there.

So we always work with imagery, and the answers come up easier that way. So you would go into this shadow, this dark part of you, and you would start looking for it. Some people go into their childhood home and they picture they’re walking through it, and they find their shadow there, but you don’t have to go that way. You just go into the room where your shadow self is. Now you start looking, and you search for whatever is there that you need to get rid of or make peace with.

And as you look around, a shape will appear. Expect a shape, a color, anything, and it doesn’t have to make sense what it is. It could be a peanut. It could be anything. And now you begin to talk to it. And you can ask it why it’s there. You can ask it why it got there, and tell it that it’s not beneficial for you in this life, and so you’d like to remove it.

And when you start seeing this shape – a peanut, a ball, a person, anything – you look at it and then look at yourself. Where are you attached? There are many, many chords that are going from this fear place to you. So it will go from that object to places in your body. There could be ten of them, there could be 100 of them, and you begin to cut the chords. And each time you cut a chord, you are releasing it. You may not feel it right away. You may have to do it day after day, where you go in and you find the shape and you talk to it again. Does it want to tell you anything? What was its purpose for being there? And again you start cutting the chords. And you tell it, “Okay, you’re not needed right now. You did your job. I am in fear. I’m upset about the future, or how you [the fear] can hold me back.” And again, you continue to cut these chords.

And after you do this for however many days it takes, you tell this shadow part of you that now I am bringing something in that will show you the light, that will help me replace you with something else that will release me from this fear. So now you start looking at what came in with you. Is there someone standing next to you? Is there a box you’re holding, and you need to open the box and let this shape out? You replace what the fear looks like, what the shadow looks like, with light, with things that are going to go with you into your future and make it easier. So eventually, and it does take time, and it’s really all up to you, if you do the work, it will happen.

So #1, you have to be ready to go into the shadow place. Some people do a countdown. You can picture stairs, and each stair has a number from one to seven. And as you go down you see the first step, and it’s red with the #1. And then you go deeper, and the step is #2, and it’s orange. The third step would be #3 and it’s yellow. The fourth step would be green. Then the fifth step is a light blue. The sixth step is an indigo color. And the seventh step is purple. Those are the colors of the chakras. So as you go down the stairs, you know there is a doorway, and that’s the place you’ll meet your shadow.

So when you do this imagery, it works faster than if you try to figure it out with your head. Just go into it and ask what it is. “Give me a shape. Give me a color. Why are you here? What can you tell me?” And you no longer need this shadow. You start cutting those chords, and after a while you bring something in. And every time you go in, you talk to that shadow. So now you finally start telling the shadow, “Okay, I don’t need you anymore in this lifetime. And so this is what is here to help me. And you start every time you come in. You bring whatever it is – the shape, the color, a person, anything – that will help you. And then as that gets stronger, you will see the shadow part disappear. It will get smaller. The chords will not grow anymore. You will not be attached. And then you know on a subconscious level you have released something, and you don’t have to know what it is. You can’t figure it out with your head. It’s an emotion. It’s a feeling.

And once you really feel something has changed and something is happening here – maybe you don’t feel that fearful, maybe you don’t feel the heaviness or a darkness around you – as you begin to see the little bits that have changed, that will happen in your life consciously. Your life will begin to change. Your thoughts will begin to change because now you have made peace with the shadow, There’s nothing to be afraid of. You’ve had any sort of conversation you need with your shadow.

But the key to doing this is to go into it. When you try to avoid whatever is in your shadow space, it makes it bigger because the more you are afraid of it, the more you won’t deal with it, it will grow on its own.

And what you should know here is that this is not something that’s happening to you because you don’t know who did this to you, or why it’s there. You have created it because in this lifetime you want to deal with your shadow part. In other lifetimes there were things that were hurtful, as everybody has had, and it could be that you brought it forward into your current life to heal it. So you wanted to take that challenge on. And it is a very courageous step to take that challenge, to go into it, and make peace with it.

And we know you don’t particularly care for the positive thinking. It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with your strength, and how you handle yourself when you’re ready to look at your shadow. And even if you aren’t ready now, that’s fine. There’s no right time or wrong time. You can think about it for a long time before you even start. You can go very slowly, but it’s always very important to remember that you chose this. You wanted this before you came into this lifetime because there’s a lot of healing in there and it will make up for a lot of other lifetimes, and you wanted to deal with it.

And it is a lot, but what we see here, you do have a strong mind, and we feel you can do this. Or you can do it any other way that feels good for you. If it’s not what we suggested, then just think, “I’m going into this shadow room, and I will find a way. And if there’s something that feels more comfortable for you to do, then we say play with, it and if it doesn’t work, then you can do what we suggested.

You are the creator of everything that’s going to happen in that shadow room. That’s how powerful you are. And everyone has a shadow, and in some lifetimes you’ll work with it, and in other lifetimes you want no part of it. And there are sometimes you create a very, very busy life and you have no time for meditation, no time for reading, and finding out about these parts of your life. And so, right now, what you are going through, you are in control.

Do you have any questions about that?

Anonymous: No, that’s pretty self-contained.

Do you have tips on developing self-discipline and having a structured life?

Council: What do you mean by structured? What do you want to have control over or a structured way? What is it that you’d like to do?

Anonymous: I tend to live my life very amorphously, and sort of let outside events dictate what I work on. Whereas other people obviously sort of schedule things and have, you know, this is what I’m going to work on, and it’s more effective that way, and that doesn’t come naturally to me. So the question is, are there tips on having a more structured life? I’m dealing with things without letting life dictate priorities.

Council: So #1, and this is very important, you have to get to the point where you know you’re not just this human being hanging out. You are a spirit, a very, very powerful spirit. When you came into this reality, one of the biggest things you took with you is the power of choice. You have choices about everything. And some people are afraid to make decisions, and we say, do whatever it is you want. If you make what you think is a wrong decision or something that’s not working, so what? So you change your mind. You make another decision.

You have to know you’re a very powerful spirit, you have choices, and what you focus on, whether you write it down, draw pictures of it, or you just imagine, you have to find out, what do you want in your life? Because if you don’t have the discipline to create what you want, the universe steps in and creates for you, and you may not like the way it’s going. So you have to start thinking, “Alright, you know these weird things happen. I’m not creating it.” You acknowledge that you’re just going along with whatever happens to you, and you want the discipline to change it. And the way you change it, and the only way you change it, is by what you focus on. So if you focus on, “Well, I have no choice. I just have to go along with this, and everybody else can create.” Well we have news for you. You can create like everybody else.

You have to do the work. How do you do it? Number 1, before you start trying to create, you have to get yourself into a place where you feel kind of good. And we say you do that by thinking of a memory, something that makes you happy, or a fantasy, and you stay in that thought until you sort of feel yourself smiling. You feel light. Your energy changes. It will get lighter. You will feel it. When that joy comes in, as little as it does in the beginning when you can feel that happiness, that joy, that’s when you start to create, and not before it. So how do you create? You work, you find that energy, something in your life that makes you happy.

Once you get the feeling, now you start to picture in your head what you want. And this is where some people get lazy. They don’t know what they want. Well you have to find out. Read books, watch movies, find things on the internet that interest you. Find out what you want, and then start to see it. Start seeing yourself doing it. And you can start doing that, and then after a while, no, that’s not what I want. Okay, fine. So change your thoughts.

Now when you think, that sends your thought, your energy, out into the universe. And the way it works, that’s really nice, you’re sending it out there, you want it to happen, but the key is not just the thought. You have to have the feeling. The feeling is the magnet that brings what you want back to you. The thoughts and images send it out, and the feeling brings it back to you. So like a child when you were little. maybe you could pretend you were a cowboy, or a spaceman, or whatever. You do the same thing with what you want to create. You see it, and you send it out, and then you start to feel it. You imagine as if you’re already doing what it is that you want, whether it’s a new job, a relationship, moving, anything.

You reach for the feeling that you already have it. That feeling is the key. And that’s the part that most people forget. They forget that you have to pretend, like a little kid, that you have it, that you’re doing it. And when you do that, it’s amazing how, even if you start with a little thought, you’ll see it happen. And then your thoughts could become stronger. You want more. You see yourself. And when you’re feeling it, you get extremely happy. Like, oh my God, I’m doing this, I’m doing that. But we see here you have to do the work to find out what it is you want, what it is that would make you happy. You have to take the chance. And it’s work. It’s work on yourself, but it’s not only the thought, it’s the feelings.

It’s going into seeing whatever is in the shadow and changing it, and knowing you can change it by talking to your shadow, bringing something to replace it. Then start finding happiness. There had to be happiness in your past somewhere. Find thoughts that make you happy. Then when you feel that happiness – you see how we keep saying, “Feeling”? – it’s because feeling is the key. Feel it. Imagine what you want. Feel it. And that’s how you take control of your life. You pretend. And once you pretend and feel it, you can move mountains, but it takes work.

And also you can do things to help your chakras align better so that the right amount of energy comes into each chakra. And there is a chakra breathing exercise that we have taught people. We’ll ask Bob to send it to you. If you do it, you will be amazed. Even if you do it once a week, because those chakras control different parts of your life – your relationships, your money, your love life, the connection with your purpose in life. It gives you clarity, but the chakra must be aligned, and we see there are some on you that are not aligned.

So we would say, you do all seven chakras at least once a week. You can do it more if you want. It will never ever hurt you, but it brings in the strong energy you need to move forward to face whatever it is, and to get in touch with, “Oh my God, I am so powerful and I didn’t know. I didn’t know how to keep that thought, that feeling that I have created everything I am going through, that I have gone through. I have created every single thing. No one can create for me. So now I align the chakras, I do the work to find what I want.” You go into your shadow, you bring in happiness, or whatever it is you need – light in your shadow – and you move forward. You do the work. It’s a lot of work, but you are at a point in your life, we see, that you are ready to do this.

How Do I Create What I Desire?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Lindsay. It’s a little different than most of our posts because it describes a half-hour private telephone session that Lindsay scheduled with us to talk with The Council. We thought the information offered to Lindsay in this session would be useful to all the readers of this blog, and she has graciously permitted us to post it. Thank you so much, Lindsay, for allowing us to make the contents of your session public.

Our apologies for the quality of this recording. Some sections of this session didn’t make it onto the recording. We’ll try to do better in the future.

Council: Hi, how may we help you?

My Body Is Very Itchy

Lindsay: Well I have quite a variety of questions today. One of them is about itching. My body is very itchy, and it has been for probably the last 10 years, I get rashes all over, and I was just at the dermatologist’s office a couple of days ago. I’ve tried to find different solutions and nothing has quite worked, so I know it’s probably something inside, something energetic.

Council: (Laughing) We’re laughing here because for the last several months, Cynthia has been going through the same exact thing. And she has gone to allergists who say she has no allergies, and there is absolutely no reason for these rashes and itches. And what did help is that the allergist said when you go to sleep at night, you take a Zyrtec, and in the morning when you wake up you take an Allegra. It helps a little, but not much.

So we have to really say it’s the shift – the energy changing in everyone in this reality right now is causing this. And it’s like the cells in your body are trying to get used to it, and at the same time, it’s pushing up and emptying out stresses that you’ve had, old karma that you’ve had, and it’s just pushing it out, and your body is reacting to it. And when it finally does stop, you will feel lighter, and you will have a better understanding of what goes on in this reality.

But have you found that the itching has become more pronounced now than it was before?

Lindsay: It goes through cycles. So at this very moment, it’s actually a lot less than it has been.

Council: Oh, that’s good.

Color Breathing Exercise

Lindsay: That’s because I read one of your posts from a couple of weeks ago, and you suggested the color breathing because maybe some of the chakras weren’t working properly, but I’d like to do all of them.

Council: Well we would say most of these cases, and really for anything that goes wrong in the body, I don’t know if you’ve heard of the prophet, Edgar Cayce, but he was big on spinal adjustments. Once the body is aligned, it can begin to heal itself. So it’s not something you have to do all the time, but that would help.

Lindsay: Okay.

Council: And we see for you, the fifth and sixth chakra needs help. So that’s the throat, the forehead, and the pineal gland. We would say for now to do the chakra breathing exercise at least once a week. And then, in this reality, drink a lot of water. You can try putting things on your skin, but it’s coming from the inside that’s being pushed out. And this has started slowly, about 20 years ago when this shift began to take place.

So you might find that you feel good, the itching goes away, it comes back, and that’s all it is. It’s that the cells in your body are trying to get used to this new energy. And we’ve told a lot of people, the nervous system, it’s like flicking a switch to turn a light on and off, on and off. Even though this energy is incredible, it’s good, the whole body is saying, “What the heck is going on?” It’s really nothing to worry about. It will pass. But the deeper it goes, more and more stuff will come up. You may remember something. You may get angry at things and at old memories. It’s just pushing it out. And then again, you may remember nothing, but you just sort of feel odd, like, “I don’t feel like myself. What is this?” And that’s what it is.

Lindsay: Yeah. I felt that lately That odd feeling. I just feel lost.

Council: Ah, yes. We hear that a lot. Feeling lost. You don’t belong. What’s going on? Nothing is the same. It’s a big change, and it takes quite a long time to go through it. You’ll go through it as much as your body in this reality can handle, but it’s nothing terrible. And so, in a way, when it happens, if you could tell your body, “This is wonderful. I’m very grateful. Go ahead. Keep healing, keep healing, keep changing, I’m ready.” And those thoughts will help you lessen feeling kind of odd, but everyone is having it. We were laughing that you have the exact same symptoms as Cynthia

Lindsay: (Laughing) Right. That’s so wild. I feel for Cynthia. I know what it’s like to be itchy. Well thank you. I appreciate that answer.

Cutting Out Sugar

When I spoke to you about four years ago you guys told me that I needed to cut out sugar. And it’s really easy for spirit to say that, but it’s so hard. I’m working on it. I’m working on discipline. All the things we’ve talked about over the years. But as far as cutting out sugar, you had said to cut out all sugar, but I wondered about foods like bread and things that turn into sugar, like processed foods. Are those in that category, or not?

Council: Yes, but you cut down on it. If you like pasta, if you like bread, it’s almost impossible to say, “Okay, I won’t have it anymore.” You just cut down on that. And the days that you do have processed foods, it’s very important to drink a lot of water so it moves out of your system.

But are you cutting down on regular sweets? Where are you on this?

Lindsay: I’m doing pretty good. It ebbs and flows. I do really good, and then we have fudge, and that’s amazing, but then I feel kind of wonky the next day, and I know this is probably because I had sugar yesterday. I’m just trying to find a balance where I can be healthy, but sugar is a tough one. It’s everywhere.

Council: And so when you do have the sugar, maybe before it or after it, try and have some protein. That will help take away the response you have to sugar. But when you’re used to having a lot of sugar, it is very difficult, and people get very frustrated, but you do the best you can. And the body – especially since what’s going on now with the energy shift – will get used to it, not right away, but a little at a time. But just know, okay, let me have some protein.

Lindsay: I can do that. That makes sense. I’ve been reading similar things, so I think that’s a good compromise.

Council: A friend of Cynthia’s says – and we can ask you to do it, it hasn’t worked for her, but you can try it – when you see a cookie, or ice cream, or something you want, turn your back on it and wait 10 minutes. After 10 minutes you won’t want it anymore. Your desire will pass. So it might work. People have tried it and it works, but because we’re hanging out in Cynthia’s body, we know it doesn’t work for everyone. (Laughter)

Lindsay: Okay. I appreciate that.

Meditation

As far as meditation is concerned, you said I should do the color breathing about once a week. Sometimes when I do the color breathing, I’m imagining the colors, and some of them in my mind, I can’t get them to behave like I want them to. I imagine the energy flowing down my spine and it gets about halfway and then it disperses. I can’t get it all the way down. I wonder if that’s just my brain. Am I getting distracted? Is there actually some type of energy blockage?

Council: Let’s see what happens with you.

When you do this meditation, do it slower, the breathing with the colors. Now many, many people cannot imagine the shapes and the colors. Some people just don’t have that within them, to be able to picture that. So what we want to tell you is that the body is very, very intelligent. And you will get a better response if you’re getting frustrated with the colors, is just to think – start with the first chakra – okay, there’s a box. And you don’t have to try and see it. You just say to the body, “There’s a box. I’m filling it with red energy. Okay, now I’m breathing it in. I’m breathing it down to the first chakra, then up to my head, and now I’m emptying it out and I’m putting the red energy back in the box. If you just think those steps, it will work. It’s good to keep trying every now and then to see it, but you’re stuck along the way.

The third chakra of yours is a little blocked. So you try, but there’s nothing to get frustrated about. You just think the words, and it’s the same thing.

Lindsay: Okay. So I would do color breathing once a week. Basically, I’m trying to understand all the different meditations and how often I should be doing them. Because I also want to be listening and quiet, but I also want to do visualizations, you know, and color breathing. So I guess I’m just trying to find a balance between being in meditation and all my worldly responsibilities.

Council: Don’t be so hard on yourself, but every day if at all possible – and this is very, very important – find at least 10 minutes to sit in a chair with your eyes closed and just relax. Sometimes you can picture a color going around you. Sometimes you can just have a feeling. You can say to yourself, “I’m at peace.” What does that feel like? And try to imagine what it feels like. Do you get a picture of walking in a forest or on a beach? But if you get no picture, it’s still okay. Just give it that 10 minutes.

And then some people, and we believe the spirit, Abraham, has said, “Just sit in a chair and find a sound somewhere: cars passing or an air conditioner. Just listen to it. Don’t think of anything. Just listen to it. and then many, many people feel when they meditate that they should have no thought. That’s ridiculous. You will always have thoughts. So what you do is you acknowledge, “Oh, okay. I don’t feel like I’m meditating. I’m thinking of going shopping later.” Okay, that’s fine, but it’s the discipline of you bringing your mind back to the 10 minutes of just relaxing. So that’s good every day.

Are you trying to create something in your life right now?

Creating What You Desire

Lindsay: Yes. My husband and I are trying to create our next steps, what we’re going to do for work basically. We talked to you guys about it several times. You told us what to do, and we’re just so scared. It’s hard, basically, in a nutshell. It’s hard to take that leap. We had talked to you about it before and you said that Cynthia had been in the same position. When the finances are good, it’s very hard to leave. So we want to start our own business and be on our own.

Council: So the easiest way to create – and many people don’t do it this way – that’s why it takes so long. First of all, get an idea of what you want. And it doesn’t have to be perfect, but you have some sort of idea of what you want to do. Now the secret to this is you sit in a chair, you meditate, and you’re thinking about whatever you want. Before you start thinking about how you want it to be – the business that you want – you have to get yourself in a really happy, joyful energy.

So we say before you go to what you want, sit in a chair and come up with a memory that makes you happy, maybe it makes you laugh. And if you can’t find memories, fantasize. You can think of something silly. But when you feel like you can almost sit there with a smile on your face because it feels so good, that’s the time. You get to that point, and now you’re feeling really, really good. Now ask yourself, “What is it that I want to create?” Because that energy of happiness and joy makes what you want, happen much faster. Like if you’re miserable, and you don’t feel good, and you’re meditating, meditating is always good, but you will not create as fast as if you get to the feeling of joy and then start thinking.

And then you can tell yourself – which is important – “I want this, but I may come up with different ideas, and that’s okay. I need to be shown what to do.” They always say they can’t step in and help you unless you ask for it.

So whether you believe in guides, or angels, or whatever, you sit and you think, “Well, I think this is what I want. I could change my mind. I need a sign.” Now when you ask for a sign, you will get it. Every day you ask for a sign, and it will come. But the most important thing for you to remember is, you don’t have to know how it’s going to come. You don’t have to know how you’re going to do it. The universe, God, or whatever you believe in will get it to you. You’re asking for it. You’re saying you’re ready for it. “I need help. Show me, show me, show me.” It will come.

And if you can imagine it, if you get to that happy place and you actually imagine how you think you want it, that’s wonderful, but when you imagine it, stop and say to yourself, “Okay, now I have this new business. What does it feel like?”

So when you imagine and you ask, that’s putting out into the universe what you want. When you can pretend you have it already, and it feels good, that’s the magnet. A lot of people forget the feeling. The feeling is what draws what you want back to you. So the thoughts go out into the universe. You feeling it, pretending like you’re a little child, pretending you’re a cowboy, and you know how kids, they really believe it and they feel it. If you can do that with what you want, that’s your magnet, and that brings it to you.

So you have all the steps now for how to create. And the nice thing is you can change your mind. If you’re creating and then you’re like, nah, that’s not it, this doesn’t feel right, I really don’t want that. Okay, so change your thought. Change what you’re imagining. There’s no right. When you jumped into this reality, you knew one of your best things that came with you was that you have a choice. In everything you have a choice.

So say you want this wonderful job, but it’s making you nervous. You’re afraid. Okay, so you acknowledge it. “I’m afraid of the success. I’m afraid of having it. Suppose I can’t do it.” You just go, “Uh oh. Okay. Look at what I’m doing. Look at what I’m sending out.” Now change the thought. That’s your choice. You acknowledge it. You never try to push it away. Acknowledge it, but then change it. “No. Okay, this is what I want.”

So you know what we teach, and all of the spirits that are coming in now are teaching: there’s fear and there’s love. Do you want to sit in fear and slow up or stop what it is you’re trying to create? Or do you want to love it? Know that you’re a very powerful spirit with choices of where you go. And there’s no wrong decision. If you don’t like it, you change it. It is that simple.

And we tell so many people it’s not easy, but it’s very simple. Just acknowledge what you don’t want and change your thought. But now you have the whole thing. You have chakras, you know to meditate for 10 minutes and just relax. You know, “Okay, I want to create something. Let me get to that happy place first. Once you feel it, bing, you go into it. You imagine it, you create like a little kid. “Oh, I’m really this. I’m an astronaut.” And feel it, and it’s going to come. It’s going to come more easily than you could ever believe.

Lindsay: Well that’s exciting.

Council: So you have a lot to do, but it’s all good.

Lindsay: Yeah. I’m excited. I think I’m ready. I’m more ready maybe than my husband. I don’t know.

Council: You get excited and you tell him, “Oh, this is what I learned. This is how we do it. Let’s do it together. Maybe we’ll find time to meditate in the same room. Maybe not, but you be the teacher. You show the way.

Lindsay: Okay. That sounds good.

I Want To Write

I want to write. I’m ready to start writing. I’m just nervous about how it’s going to go, I guess, but I’ll visualize it.

Council: So what are you nervous about with the writing?

Lindsay: I don’t know. Being successful, or it turning into something. I guess I’m nervous I’m not good enough.

Council: Tell yourself, “I’m writing this just for me. Let’s see what I put out here. I’m interested to see what I’m thinking and how I’m writing it. It’s just for me.” And then that takes the pressure off of you, like it’s got to be good enough, who’s going to read it? Is it going to be successful? This is just for you.

And then you call in spirits. We have taught that your whole life you have a spirit that’s with you – your main spirit. For different parts of your life, other spirits come in, help you, and then leave. So if you want, you can tell your main spirit, “I need help writing.” And it will come in and help you. There is always, always help there, but you have to ask for it. And then that spirit will stay with you for as long as it takes. And then you want to be a dancer. So, okay, I need a spirit to show me how to dance and help me get there. And always say, “It’s just for you.” And that takes all the pressure off.

We Never Tell You What To Work On

Lindsay: Okay. Is there time for one more question?

Council: Okay, Yes.

Lindsay: I just wanted to know if there is anything that my guides or higher self would like me to work on.

Council: Oh, we would never tell you what to work on. Never, never, never. That’s like when we sometimes get questions like, should I marry this person? Should I leave this job? We will never, ever tell you what to do because the choice is yours. So think about everything you want. Just do what feels good.

Like right now you’re talking about the writing. Sit down and do it. Start it. And if you have the idea, well maybe I should be doing this, but when you think of it, it’s not a comfortable feeling, then forget it because it’s not coming from your higher self. Your higher self will give you all the ideas you need that you thought of before you came into this reality. So wait and think about doing this, think about doing that. If you try it and you don’t like it, nope, that’s not what you want this time. So you’ll always know by how you feel.

You should love what you do, whether it’s playing, or work, or whatever. You should absolutely love it. Once you have to force yourself or drag yourself through it, it’s not going to happen. Just like if you read a book, and you start reading it, and it’s like you’re forcing yourself to finish it. That’s a waste of time. Your whole self is telling you, “I don’t like this.” So you shut the book and you get another book. And that’s how simple it is. Pay attention to how you feel. That’s always your higher self talking to you.

Lindsay: I love that. I can do that. That’s an easy thing to check in with myself.

Can You Help Me With My Physical Symptoms?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Lorraine.

Lorraine: I have trigeminal inflammation, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue. I’m following a medical medium protocol with this, and I feel I need more help because this isn’t helping me get better. Can you help me?

Council: Well these conditions that you have are all stress-related. It’s all about what you’ve come through in your past. And we would say this condition, the way we’d explain it to you, is as if your whole body was a light switch, and it’s as if you had your hand on the switch turning it on and off, on and off, on and off. That’s what your nervous system is doing right now. This is quite common in people who have had a lot of stress and don’t feel well. There’s no medical diagnosis for these conditions because they are nerve-related in the body.

And so first of all, we hope that whoever is advising you in your reality, a Vitamin B Complex would help your nervous system.

We would also say that this condition needs adjusting your head and neck, so if you can find a good Chiropractor to work on that, the nerves from the head and brain stem all the way down your body are on this fight or flight vibration.

And so it’s just periods of time that have been building and building. And now your system doesn’t know how to shut it off, which leaves you incredibly drained, and having feelings of burning in your body, tingling, and shooting pains. All of this is from these conditions. Even a breeze from a fan or the wind can make your skin hurt. So #1, you must work on your nervous system.

Now we would say for you, we would ask you to imagine a beautiful dark navy blue all around you. If you have a good imagination, picture yourself going into a room and putting on a long cloak with a hood that is of this dark navy blue. And when you put it on you, it calms your skin, it calms your nerves, and it calms your body. And tell your body this is what we’re doing, and this will help.

We would say for you right now to definitely do the chakra breathing exercise every day to get those chakras to work right. We would say five or six of them out of seven are not working right. So a lot of work is needed here. But work with the mind, work with the colors, and work with the vibration of the chakras, to get that energy working.

We would say music is very important and very soothing. So perhaps when you sit in a chair or lie down and picture yourself putting this navy blue cloak on, you can play beautiful music in the background.

Well, where do you go when you wear this cloak? Are you in a forest? In a peaceful place? Or are you just sitting in a room, sitting in a chair relaxing, and your body is loving it. Constantly tell the body, “This is healing and you are loving.” You are loving this cloak being around you. And little by little, you talk to the nerves, talk to every bone, talk to the fascia, talk to the nervous system, talk to the veins, talk to every organ in your body. And you say, “Now, finally, we are going to feel better. Finally, we are going to heal, and we have in our power the way to bring this healing about.”

This is very doable. It’s a very stressful period to be in. It can seem like you don’t know where to start first, but if you follow this guidance a little bit at a time, you will see the improvements.

How Can I Learn To Channel And Talk To Spirits?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Leah.

Leah: Hi, I have a question for Cynthia. I want to learn how to channel…

Council: (Laughs) Should we step out of the way? And so because we are part of Cynthia, we would like to hear the question, and we will have an answer.

Leah: …and talk to spirits. How can I start easing myself into this, and what are the initial steps or process?

Council: The first thing is you must learn to sit still. You must learn to meditate. Whether it’s having a picture in your mind that makes you feel good, whether it’s sitting there and saying over and over, “I am at peace,” and just see what shows up behind your eyelids. Eventually you’ll begin to get pictures. You’ll get ideas. But the discipline is to have the strength to sit quietly every day. They always say it’s best to sit at the same time so your body gets used to this, but we would advise any time you have free time for at least ten minutes to sit and meditate, to take it no matter what time of the day it is.

We can tell you that when Cynthia tried to learn to meditate, it took her three years to learn how to do it, and it was the discipline. When spirit sees the discipline, from our side we try very hard to come through to you. You have the discipline to sit and speak to us with your eyes closed if you like, and just as if we are already there, which of course we are, and have a conversation with us.

Sit quietly. Sooner or later with this discipline you will get an idea. You will hear words in your head, and you will feel a feeling of lightness in your body where the chakras are now open and bringing in the energy for you to let the spirit energy, which is very high, come into the body. So we would say, have the quiet time. Sit at a computer and type a question. “Hey spirit, are you there? Let me know.” See what happens. You may hear a word that makes no sense. “Peanut.” All right, spirit, I heard the word, peanut. Tell me more. And every day keep asking. Keep asking, and expect that answer to come, and it will.

So when you begin to meditate, the body begins to let in a higher energy. It’s good to work on the chakras. But once that happens, you will connect in your own way to spirit. You can hear words in your head. You might see pictures instead of words. You may have what we call the great knowing, where all of a sudden you have this information about something and you know the whole thing. It’s not sentence by sentence. You just know.

And you can write a question on your computer, or with a pad and pencil. And you do not need someone there to give you the answer. Write it down. Type it in the computer. And meditate, and the answer will come. You will write down an answer or type an answer, and keep doing it, whether it makes sense or not. It can be gibberish, but sooner or later it will become clear, one word at a time, one image at a time. And that is how you’ll connect with spirits. That’s when you’ll begin to channel – when you know and have the feeling, and you believe it’s there. That’s when you’ll begin to channel.

Leah: I’m alone and don’t have anyone to ask me questions, like Bob.

Council: It’s not necessary.

Leah: How can I start to talk back and forth with my spirit guides?

Council: Meditate. Think in your head, ask a question in your head, and sit, and wait. Next day try again, and again, and again. Write it down. Try writing. Try typing a question. Just keep doing it, knowing you are opening a path to connect with your spirits. When you have the discipline to do this daily, it will come. We promise you, it will come. And so we send you love, and we send everyone happy feelings. Enjoy the day. Enjoy your life. Be grateful. Be happy. Think of things you’ve done that brought you joy. Imagine things you can do that bring you joy, and then move forward.

How Can I Heal The Problems With My Overactive Nervous System?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Lorraine.

Lorraine: Why do I have so many problems with my nervous system? It’s gotten so hard for me to sleep. And what do I do when I can’t sleep? And many times my body is restless from my overactive nerves. How can I heal them?

Council: We love that you use the phrase “overactive nerves”. That is exactly what you have. And we see here from your younger years, even falling as a child, there was some pressure that was put on the spine that is coming forward now. And if you could imagine yourself as a wall switch, flicking it on and off, on and off, on and off, that is your nervous system right now.

We would say that the problems start at the base of the skull in the neck, goes down the spine, touches on the peripheral nerves, and is flicking your nervous system on and off. So #1, we would definitely say to learn the chakra breathing and do that. We would suggest massage often. That would also help. We’d suggest putting a castor oil soaked flannel cloth on the back of your neck. That would begin to help restore the nervous system.

When you can’t sleep, what we see here is that in many of your lifetimes you experienced other worlds, other planets, and that was a great joy for you. So when you can’t sleep, try to sit up and make yourself comfortable, but think of you all of a sudden floating up to the sky, going as slow or as fast as you want, and float among the stars. Look for planets. See what’s lit up and go towards it. And be open to what you experience. This going out into the other planets and having the freedom of floating will help you relax, and help your mind. And keep looking as you’re floating. What are you seeing? We feel this will help you.

And so enjoy your creations, and learn from what we teach. There’s always a way it will help you. And just asking the questions shows that you are on another path to expand, to learn how to create, to look at yourself, to show kindness, and to bring in the happiness that we all want. And so we say, have fun with this.

Help Me Understand Why My Efforts Amount To Nothing

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Desperate.

Desperate: I try to be a good person and to imagine good things for myself, but somehow I’ve ended up in relationships with narcissistic men and dead-end jobs.

Council: So it’s good that you realize this, you see this, but then ask yourself, what have you learned in these relationships? How would you do it differently?

And then it’s most important to start writing down, or thinking over and over, and visualizing the kind of relationship that you do want.

Desperate: I always imagine myself as a mother with kids and a large family, and I’m 43 years old, I’m alone, and I’m not fertile. I did everything I could. I pursued relationships, studied, and graduated, but somehow none of my efforts bears fruit. Could you please help me understand better my current situation?

Council: You had one particular lifetime – you had about 10 children – and that one was difficult, but you were very happy and your family was very happy. So you come in and you want to do it again, but another part of you wants the freedom to explore other things in your life.

So we say here, are you happy with your environment? Do you imagine you living somewhere else? And can you follow through about different places, read up about them, and get maps of different areas? When you do this, you open yourself up to a different way of life, to more independence, but you find more people that you’d want to build relationships with.

You will find a partner. And so, working together with this partner it could – if this person wants to explore it – have something to do with children, which is something you both spoke about when you were in spirit.

So again, for right now, just begin to think of what you want? But do more of the work. Do the chakra breathing. The chakras have to be aligned so you can bring in what you want. And when you write it down, it makes the image deeper in your conscious mind.

So be specific. Go into great detail about what it is that you want. And as you do this, you bring that in closer and closer to you. So we would say to do this at this particular time. But first of all, do the chakra breathing.

Bob: Desperate asks if her current situation related to past lives, which you’ve touched on. Is there anything else you want to say about the relationship of past lives to the current situation?

Council: There is a lot of movement that you want. You thought you would move around a lot in this particular lifetime. But we see if you concentrate now, a very important move will come along that will change your whole style of how you live, where you live, and who you live with. And so this next particular move should allow you to bring in with you and others what you have planned in spirit.

Desperate: How can I change course?

Council: You do the chakra breathing, you can collect pictures of places you’d like to visit, you can collect pictures of families standing in front of houses, and everything else that you want. We believe if you look at these pictures and if you imagine what you see – that you are in the picture –    or you have something similar, that strong image will start to bring it into you.

Desperate: Thank you in advance, and thank you for the wonderful work you do. Sincerely, Desperate.

Council: It’s all up to you at this point. Do the work. You don’t have to know how it will happen, but do it and you will see the change. But first of all, do the chakra breathing.

We wish all of you great happiness on your journey. You’ve all created this, and you all wanted to learn so much from what you have created. And with that we would say, have fun with it.

Do I Have ADHD?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Starfish.

Starfish: I have been having a lot of health-related issues: anxiety, stress, a pulmonary disorder, and asthma. I think I may have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) which is making the situation worse. Can The Council please guide me if I indeed have ADHD? I have been going to a therapist for sessions to control my anxiety.

Council: The anxiety comes from situations and people around you. So we would say at this point in your life, it seems that a change would be very good for you when you are ready. Find the people to put yourself in a different position, a different environment, almost with the thought of starting life all over again.

The anxiety comes from some past life where you’d like to handle it differently this time and learn how to deal with it. We would say for you, at this point, it would be wonderful to meditate, even if it’s for five minutes a day. For many people it is difficult to sit still and concentrate. And we’d say you don’t need to concentrate. All you need to do is sit and listen to a sound, or imagine something, but not to think of everyday situations or everyday problems. Just to sit and relax.

Starfish: The other situation is my reduced lung capacity. It’s currently reduced and operating at only 70%.

Council: Now what is needed here, along with the chakra breathing to align your energy in your chest and in the back, it would be wonderful for you, when you can, to get close to, if possible, the ocean, and to sit and just breathe that air in. Also walking in nature, walking and taking deep breaths to learn how to breathe from your diaphragm, in and out from that part of the body and not just from the chest. That would help to improve your lung capacity along with the meditation and the chakra breathing. In time, things will sort of align themselves and help you, and that will help with the anxiety.

Starfish: Can The Council please guide me if I should continue to work in the software engineering field with these health limitations?

Council: We’d say it would be good to be able to delegate work and teach others. If you can apply for a position teaching and explaining at a beginner level, it would help your whole emotional feeling and physical being.

Starfish: If I should continue in software engineering, should I go for an individual contributor kind of role, or a leadership role? I’m truly confused about what to do in my career going forward.

Council: We would say in time, not at the moment, going into a leadership position would be great. As we have said, teaching would be good. And then eventually, when that is going well for you, you can apply at other places where you can teach, but in a position where you move around. And the movement, meeting other people and being out, and not just in the office constantly, will help you immensely.

Starfish: I need to be able to continue to do my job, but I’m not able to compromise on health, as I have faced an extremely challenging time in the last year. Please guide me. Love and light, Starfish.

Council: If you follow these instructions, you will see your life will begin to change. Things will become more to your liking, they’ll become easier, your health will feel better, and your emotions will feel better.

And so think also, when you’re not working, is there something else you’d like to do? Is there a craft or a hobby? If you like to read, we would suggest finding books and articles to read that make you feel good. And so, doing different things will change how you are handling things now.

Am I Facing A Dark Night Of The Soul?

This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader.

Anonymous: Hello. Can The Council please let me know if I am facing a dark night of the soul? I’m misunderstood by a lot of people in my life, and it’s getting hard for me to continue with a lot of close relationships. I’m starting to lose trust and confidence, which is impacting my health a lot.

Following a fallout with my manager at work I have also faced a job loss recently, which has further amplified this health issue. Can The Council please guide me about how to come out of this despair, and if I have a past life history with my old manager?

Council: We would like to say here that if you were in this dark night of the soul, which is a very hard place to be, you wouldn’t be asking for our guidance because you wouldn’t be believing in anything. You’d be feeling completely alone. So the fact that you are asking shows that you know there is something more than you out there, but you don’t have a lot of patience to want to wait for it. It’s an uncomfortable feeling.

And so we would say when you have that feeling of this dark night, the best thing to do is to go into your heart chakra in your chest and build that up. Start filling it with green energy. Put this energy in your chest, down your arms, around the outside of your body, and just see the color green getting brighter, growing, going all the way down to your fingers and spurting out your fingers.

Work on the heart chakra. When that is getting the attention and the energy it needs, your thoughts, the way you feel, and what you experience in your life will change. It will get better. The heart chakra is very, very important. And so you can do the whole chakra meditation, or just for now work on the heart, but that will begin to lift your spirits.

Sometimes you can look for a little pinhead of light in the heart chakra, so it’s all green, but one little dot of white light. Watch it grow until it comes out of your body and all around you.

Bob: Any advice on a past life history with their old manager?

Council: Let’s see. You met in another life, very late in life. You took in a lot of homeless children, and it was hard, but you loved being of service. And it was almost like you had this life together, but you always felt you could do more and you didn’t, and it was very upsetting. And unfortunately when you left that reality, you weren’t happy with how you handled it, and you sort of blamed each other for holding each other back, or not doing things the right way.

And so in your current lifetime you wanted to see if you could work together, if you could take direction, if you can get along and make things happen, and really make things grow and advance in your careers. You wanted to get to a place where you could understand what each other wanted or needed, where in that other lifetime you didn’t. You just went around your business doing whatever you thought would work, but there wasn’t that togetherness. And so you wanted to come together again in this lifetime to see if that could happen.

Anonymous: I used to have a good relationship with this manager to begin with, and then it deteriorated very fast, which impacted my mental health a lot.

Council: So look at this relationship. What made it deteriorate? What sticks out for you?

Anonymous: I also have an on/off, mostly off, relationship with a husband who has an extreme ego. He misunderstands me, and justifies his bad actions with reasons that exist in his head, possibly influenced by my in-laws.

Council: It is influenced by – very interesting here – what you experienced in that past life with your boss. Not understanding exactly what you are experiencing with your husband, you wanted to experience this again to see how you could change it, how you could understand it, and how you can handle it. And so that problem with your husband is coming from a past life, and your desire to know how to change it. Can you do that?

Anonymous: It feels like I’m hitting a wall in all areas of my life. This hurts my child, as well. I’m trying to keep my thoughts positive, but it’s like fighting an internal battle every ten minutes and gets exhausting. Please guide me. Thanks a ton for the great work you guys do.

Council: Get into a place where you are willing to have this husband – where you see he wants his way, and does things his way, and it’s uncomfortable – get into a place where all you do is see it, and just think, let me flow with it. Let me have good thoughts, not want to change it, just have good thoughts and bring light to myself. And without bucking the problem and making it worse, not getting to a place where I must change this and I must change that, let me just watch it. Let me just flow with it, and I want peace, and I want things to work out. And just flowing with it, you will see how easily it comes.

Creating What You Desire

This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader who asks about karma, a terminated pregnancy and the spirit of the fetus, and light she sees in her head.

Anonymous: Recently I had to undergo a periodical PAP test. The results came back negative, but there are some cell changes and I might need an operation. I’ve had terminated pregnancies. Is this potential operation karma for these terminated pregnancies?

Council: There’s no karma for this unless you’re – in the deepest part of you – feeling guilty and creating what you’d call karma.

And so this is part of an experiment, we should say, that you can create this in your body and then watch it heal, and know that everything is fine, and you create it that way. And you don’t think of surgery, you don’t think of something happening, but always thinking you’re moving on and feeling well. That is very important.

The more you think of karma, the more you’ll create physical and mental handicaps for you to face. And so just remind yourself that everything you’ve gone through, whatever you’ve done in the past, it’s just an experience. What have you learned from it? And you’re moving on with a light, happy thought.

Anonymous: I was writing before about the spirit of the fetus that I had a very strong connection with. My biggest dream is to see each other.

Council: You will always, at one point, see each other, whether it’s in this life, in between lives, or in another life. There will always be the recognition.

Anonymous: You wrote in a previous post that I’ll see this spirit and it will come back to me. Is this still the case?

Council: We’d say of course it’s always up to you. If you believe it will happen and you’re calm with the thought that you’ve both agreed to this, then yes, it will come back to you. If you begin to have doubts, then there will be something you can create where you don’t come together again.

It’s so important for everyone who hears us, what we’re trying to get through to you is that, yes it’s wise to ask this question and that question, and maybe get some help, or maybe get a reminder, but you are the creator. If you come from a place of doubt or fear, you’ll have a hard time creating what you want to create.

If you can just flow with a nice, calm, happy vibration, and think of everything the way you want it to be, you’ll bring that to you, and that’s how your life goes. And you could be creating something today, and tomorrow, and the next day you have doubts and it stops. It slows up. It doesn’t move. It doesn’t come into your vibration because that happy vibration of you having what you want doesn’t match what you’re thinking. You have to match up the vibration of what you want to how you’re feeling now.

Pretend you have it. Visualize it. What does it feel like? How do you see it? How do you want it? And that is what brings it to you.

Anonymous: I think about the spirit of the fetus and wish for it every day. There’s so much love when I think about this spirit.

Council: And then that is what you should concentrate on. Think of the love. Think of seeing each other again. Think of having this life together. That, and only that, will bring it to you.

Anonymous: Now I’m thinking that I had the best gifts for me, the pregnancies, and I didn’t accept them. I want family and kids very much, and I wanted it back then, but felt so insecure with my partner at that time.

Council: It was an experience that you had. Where does it say you cannot create it again?

Anonymous: Will I get better from this?

Council: It’s really up to you. It’s important for you to understand that we don’t make it happen. We don’t give you the power to have this happen. It’s all up to you, your thoughts and your feelings, and lining up the vibration, feeling good, and seeing what you want.

Anonymous: Will I get pregnant?

Council: Again, this is up to you. If you see it, if you stay with it strong enough, imagine it, and feel it, feel it, feel it.

Anonymous: Will I be given another chance to have kids?

Council: (Humerously) Oh, we’re always giving you the same answer. It’s up to you. It’s important that you understand this. We can’t tell you, “Yes, you will, or no, you won’t.” What we can tell you is, if you do such and such then this will happen. If you come from another place of doubt or fear, you think you messed up and you had a chance but now you don’t, how can you create from that?

You will never ever – underline that, put it in capital letters and bold colors – YOU WILL NEVER CREATE FROM A PLACE OF LACK. It doesn’t match the vibration you want.

Anonymous: Why am I experiencing these issues with my health? I do Wim Hof Breathing and pink light meditation. What else can I do to strengthen my immune system?

Council: Always work on the chakras. Do the chakra breathing. Meditate. Meditate that you are in a place that you love – in the mountains, on a beach, in a forest – and you are feeling wonderful. And feel it. What does it feel like to be at ease, to feel great, to be so happy with your life? That’s what will help your health.

Anonymous: I have another question. I see light in my head, especially lately. It’s a very good feeling. What is this?

Council: (Humorously) The light bulb has come on. It is you. That light that you see is you. It’s part of your energy field. It’s who you really are. It’s your higher self. That light is helping you to feel good. It’s there to show you there’s so much more than what you experience every day.

So that light, bring it in, sit in it or lay in bed and just feel it. Get to the place where you can feel it. And that’s how the vibration will become stronger and stronger for you to create the life that you want.

Anonymous: What can I do with this light?

Council: Anything.

Anonymous: It appears to me ever since I was spending a lot of time doing spiritual practices ten years ago. Sometimes it’s stronger, as it is now. I used to use it for making the right choices, imagining in which situation I see more light. Maybe there’s something it’s trying to tell me?

Council: So play a little game and think of something that you want, and ask your higher self to show you the light that’s around that which you want to create. And see how strong that light is. And make it stronger and stronger and stronger. That also will bring it to you.

So use the light to feel good. Use the light to get answers. Use the light to just create and to feel who you really are. You are this light.

Anonymous: Thank you so much for your answers.

Council: Wonderful. Remember you are the creator

And so we wish you all love, happiness, and excitement on your journey. And think of wonderful, wonderful things to experience. It could be the littlest thing. Focus on that and be in a state of gratitude for everything that you have, and everything that you’ve passed through. And that vibration of gratitude, little by little, will begin to change your life.

You Pre-Planned To Awaken To Your Psychic Ability From Past Lives

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Jaelyn (mispronounced as Jocelyn by Bob in the audio recording of our session).

Jaelyn: What career field should I look into? I’ve been unemployed for almost six months now and have had some trouble figuring out what will make me happy and fulfilled. Any advice?

Council: The advice is to get the simplest job – if you had to make hamburgers somewhere – and just to know that you are working. It’s part of this particular lifetime where you need to give yourself the time to experience different jobs. But even if it’s the simplest job – if you were to sell oranges on the corner – to be grateful for it, to acknowledge that it’s something you’re doing that makes you happy.

So we don’t say run out and get yourself a heavy-duty job. Just the littlest thing. And even if it’s part-time, the littlest thing that could be fun, that could make you appreciate what it is that you have.

Jaelyn: I’ve felt very low energy and depressed, especially within the last few years. I’ve dealt with it most of my life, but I notice it now more than ever. I’ve been trying to maintain a daily yoga and meditation practice, but sometimes I’m so tired, I can’t get myself out of bed. I’ve asked my spirit guides to help me with this, but I’d like to know if this is just part of my physiology, or is this an attachment of some sort? What should I do to help turn this around?

Council: Well we would say hold onto your hat because when you were planning what you’d like to experience this lifetime, you’ve taken from many of your past lives where you were very psychic. You were an oracle and you knew how to read people’s energies. In your current lifetime you are so tired because many spirits are trying to reach you. And so we would say for fun, get yourself a deck of Tarot cards and play with them. See what comes through. Meditate, meditate, meditate. You wanted to reach and commune with people that had passed on. They are trying to reach you.

And so, when you are not following what it is that you are planning, you’ll feel like you’re not doing what you’re supposed to do. But you are looking in the wrong direction. Get a fun job. Anything at all. Learn about reading crystals, reading Tarot cards, and learn about energy.

And know you must meditate every day, and we say even if it’s for ten minutes to allow yourself to open up to the energy that you’re trying to pull in. So it’s a battle where your higher self is trying to push you in that direction, which maybe you never thought of, but because you were so good at this before, you wanted to do it again because you knew in this time, in this life, things that would be created, people would need someone like you to speak to, to get advice from, or to make them feel good.

And so we’d suggest you read up on different people, on Edgar Cayce, on Sylvia Brown, on others that have done this work. And know that you have done it and it’s your desire to do it again in this lifetime. And so meditation is the key. And we’d also recommend that you do the chakra meditation we’ve talked about in another post. Get those chakras working, and know that if you concentrate on allowing spirits to reach you by doing your part, by sitting, meditating, and giving these spirits and yourself the time, it will happen and you’ll find a big difference in your life.

Jaelyn: Recently I’ve had a strong desire to know about my past lives and ancestors.

Council: Ah, it’s the ancestors that are trying to reach you.

Jaelyn: I feel like there’s this connection that I want to make, but it’s blocked.

Council: Ah, yes, and who do you think is blocking it? You’re not taking the steps to reach your ancestors and to have them be able to reach you, and that’s what you’re going through at this time. How wonderful that you’re having this problem. Now that you have some answers you can head in the right direction.

Jaelyn: Can you tell me anything about my past lives and my significance in this present life?

Council: Your significance is to be here, to bring spirit forward, to help yourself, to help spirit, and to help others who need information from spirit. It’s a wonderful, wonderful path that you’ve chosen to go on. And so we would say to start the meditations.

Jaelyn: I have this strong longing to know about myself and my purpose.

Council: There you are.

Jaelyn: Thank you so much. I’m so grateful for your time and your insight.

Council: Oh, have fun with this. You will be amazed.

And so we’ve enjoyed this again. And we send you all blessings, and love, and happiness. And enjoy what you’ve created. And if you don’t like what you’ve created, then change it. Change it with your thoughts and how you think.

You are a great spirit that’s here to learn many different things. And you’ve all created this time to come in knowing it would be difficult, knowing there would be a lot of chaos, but you came in to hold the beautiful light, to love no matter what, and you will see your lives change.

Tell Me About The Guide I’ve Been Communicating With

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Liza.

Liza: I’ve been interacting with a non-physical being for over two years now. It’s been wonderful and still is, but we have limitations on how we communicate. I’d dearly like to know more about this being, and why this being has chosen to be in my life at this time.

Council: Because you’ve made an agreement with this spirit, and at this time you’ve pulled it in.

And so it takes time to learn how to work with your guide. And you should treat this guide as you would any friend. When you communicate, if you don’t understand, tell this guide to slow down and explain what they’re trying to communicate. Tell your guide if you don’t really understand what’s happening. Ask them how else you can reach them.

We’d say #1 is to meditate more because this opens your psychic ability. When you communicate, do you get blocks of information? Do you just get words? Do you hear things or feel things? And so you can ask your guides if you should put paper and pen in front of you, and hold it, and your guide will write the words? Should you sit in front of a computer? Should you just play soft music and sit quietly and your guide will talk to you? But on your end, the ability to relax and meditate opens up your centers so that you can have more communication, and the communication is there for you if you do this.

Play with your chakras. Learn to keep them strong and working. And know that when you talk to this entity, tell them you need more communication. Tell them you need to make the communication stronger. Does your guide talk to you through the alphabet? Does it talk to you using numbers? Ask this guide how it wants to communicate with you. Your guide will always try and find a way that it knows you’ll understand.

Some people with guides only see pictures. There are no words or information. Communication comes in pictures. If they give you a rose and it feels good, it’s a sign of love. If your guide shows you paper, sit in front of a computer or with a pen and paper and they’ll talk to you that way. And it takes time. But always question and tell your guide they need to make this clearer. That will come from the other side.

But be aware, do your work here. Always surround yourself with white light. Surround your chakras with the proper colors and symbols, and you will increase this communication. Some people work with their guides for years before they ever get some sort of system that works.

But it’s up to you to tell your guide if you don’t understand. Tell them you need it clearer. Give it to me another way. And maybe you’ll see your guide. Maybe you’ll see pictures. But be aware it’s up to you to do the chakra work, to do the meditation, and to ask questions.

Wonderful, wonderful questions. This has been such a joy for us. And we’ll send everybody love and happiness on their journey, and remind everyone to stay with the positive thoughts. For what is going on in your reality, a lot of positive thoughts are needed. And when you tap into this, and more and more of you do this, the whole reality that you exist in right now will change. The course of your world is up to you. It all comes with the right thinking.

You’ve created your lives with the special people in them for a purpose. You’ve agreed to do things together. And always the agreement was to think happy thoughts, positive thoughts, finding things that don’t work right and have them work right. Help each other, help animals, help the trees, help the ocean. You’re all here to make this reality better and better.

And so we wish you joy. And remember, coming into this life, you came in with the thought of having a joyous time and to find happiness everywhere. That is the purpose. Have a happy life. Enjoy it. Create fun. Create love. You can all do this.

There’s A Gigantic Shift In Consciousness Going On

Council: Good morning.

Todd: Good morning. How’s it going?

Council: (Laughs) For us, wonderful (more laughing).

Todd: Good. I wanted to reach out to you because I’ve been very tired lately and just kind of low energy. I’ve been that way on and off my whole adult life, but it seems to come and go and I’m really experiencing that now. I don’t know what I can do about it or what that’s about. The second thing is that I’ve been moody and kind of mildly depressed, then feeling okay, then feeling depressed, then feeling down, then feeling okay. And then the third thing is I’d like a sexual energy scan and what you’re sensing in that. All three of these issues kind of go together, but I don’t know if they’re all related or not.

What do you think you’re depressed about?

Council: What do you think you’re depressed about?

Todd: I don’t know. That’s why I’m reaching out to you guys.

Council: When you’re depressed, it’s usually right before that there are some sort of thoughts that bring the depression on. There’s a lot going on with you right now, but are there any certain thoughts that you feel bring on the depression?

Todd: Well I know I’ve been really hard on myself, and I overthink things. I realized that last night, and since then I’ve been feeling better. I still think about my stepdaughter occasionally, the one that won’t talk to us and we’re in conflict with. And I still think about my sexuality. And then I think about how crazy the world is. Those are the things that kind of come to me, but I know it’s all within me too.

There’s a gigantic shift that’s going on

Council: Well #1, many, many, many people are going through what you’re going through now. The depression, the fatigue, overthinking, and sort of feeling lost. And it’s because there is this – and I’m sure you’ve heard of it – this gigantic shift that’s going on from one dimension to another dimension. And we see here there are many books about the fifth dimension. And everyone in your reality has agreed at this point to change, to open up to more than what was possible before.

Proof of alien visitation

First, of course, there are many, many talks about aliens visiting this planet, and being on this planet, and it was always denied, and then perhaps it’s true, then it’s denied, then perhaps it’s true. Now we can promise you are going to hear very soon that it is true. There will be proof. And it’s time to open up to this other life force.

We’ve got to change

There’s also a change in everyone’s vibration where the thoughts will be less on the physical and more on the spiritual. It’s a path everyone’s willing to take right now. And what brought this on? Very smart spirits in your reality where everyone has created such chaos in their life, and in their world, with the planet, with the Earth, with people. And it was all created for people to say, “We’ve got to change. We don’t want this. There’s another way to live. We’re losing a lot of the happiness and the innocence that we felt before. Everything is too much chaos. Nothing goes very easy.” And so being in this reality you are also going through this.

Do the chakra breathing

Now the fatigue is part of the energy leaving and the new energy trying to come in. It’s very, very important at this time to do the chakra breathing with the colors and the shapes because the chakras are taking in energy, then they aren’t taking in energy and they are shutting down. A lot of that is going on with you right now. But you’re evolving. So it’s not something frightening, even though it is uncomfortable. It’s just that you are part of this change.

Your thoughts must change

Now physically we’d say, eat better and take vitamins. This is what’s needed in your reality. Do things that make you happy. Then there’s what’s going on mentally. The thoughts must change. The overthinking, the worrying about this, worrying about your stepdaughter. You can’t change her. That is not your purpose in this lifetime.

Just accept and send love

Your purpose with her and yourself is just accepting who you are, who they are, and letting them go about their lessons and what they need to learn in this lifetime. The best thing you can do for them and yourself is to send love. Just accept and send love. And that love will help everyone and yourself work out what you need to work out. But it’s the relaxing and the loving that’s going to change. And we’ve said before many, many times to people that when there’s more love in this reality, disease will start to disappear, and violence would disappear because the love will overtake everything. When that happens your thoughts will be lighter.

Change negative thoughts

So now it’s your responsibility to change those thoughts. That’s what you planned before you came here, that when the chaos hits, you would be a light bearer. You would do your best when these negative thoughts come in, to change it. Just acknowledge, “Here I go again. Oh boy, what I’m thinking isn’t good. I have to change it.” And then refocus your thoughts. There’s so much mental work and energetic work that is needed at this time.

And so we’d say for you, do the work on your chakras, and take care with your thoughts. It’s hard not to overthink, but maybe think of good memories or some fantasies you’d like to happen in the future. You are in creation mode. This is what you planned, and now you’re at the point where it must be done.

You feel good and then you start feeling negative

Getting tired, getting depressed, all of that is trying to leave your body. It’s such a major change, such a major shift that it’s knocking the heck out of everybody. It’s like you think you’re handling something, you think you’re getting better, then boom. And these are such old patterns and stuff from old lives that are coming up. And you get days of feeling good, maybe weeks of feeling good, and boom, you start getting negative. Here I go again. When does this change? This is not happening. Boom, depression, boom, fatigue. It wears you out.

Go back to the basics

And what we’d like you to know is, it’s part of what’s going on, and the hard part for you is the imagination. Change it. Force yourself to find good thoughts. Make things up. Become like a little child. Pretend this, pretend that. Whatever you need to do. And if there are actual things that make you happy, going to a movie, going out to eat, going to a park, visiting friends, whatever it is, playing a game, go back to these basics. That’s what’s happening.

I can change it

And we want to say to you, you’re right in the middle of it. You’re right on time, as usual. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. The only thing you have to get rid of is the worrying about it. Okay, here I am again, but I can change it. That’s the thought that changes it, that gives you the strength. No one else is going to change it. You’re going to change it.

Everyone is having a hard time being positive

But acknowledging, it’s just acknowledging this horrible feeling, these horrible, depressing thoughts, feeling that I’m getting nowhere, that I’m not evolving, nothing is working. That has to change. And that’s the hard part. We’d say that’s 100% throughout your reality. Everybody is having such a hard time being positive, and it’s so needed.

You’re right where you’re supposed to be

And so we want to say, congratulations, you’re right where you’re supposed to be. And yet we know you as spirit. We know you can do this, and it’s our place in this time to be of help, to be of support, to send all of you energy to get you through this.

Your good thoughts go out and touch everyone

When this was all planned when you were in spirit, we all thought, “Oh yeah, okay, this is going to be interesting”, because in spirit, there’s nothing that we feel we can’t handle. All right, in our reality every one of us is going to help each other. Because if you have one good thought, there’s someone on the other side of your world that feels that positive energy. Your good thought goes out and touches everybody. So someone else that’s having a good thought, you will feel it.

Imagine something you’d like to have happen in your life

And this is what you planned to do. No one said it would be easy, even though in spirit you think it will be. But it’s what is needed. But you know what we say, the answers are always simple. They’re not easy, but they’re simple. And the answer is, change the thought. Start there. Start with your imagination. Make up something that you’d like to have happen in your life. Something where, when you think of it, it feels so good, and that’s the beginning. The feeling good, and the more you can do it, the more thoughts will come to help you feel good.

You’ve chosen a wonderful time to be here

And to know we’re all in this together, all of us. We here in spirit go through this with you and watch and help in any way we can. And to say, this is such an exciting time that you have created, that you will meet entities from other galaxies, from other planets, from other dimensions. This is such a wonderful time that you’ve chosen to be here.

We can learn so much

And so we say, being positive will help you get through all of this. So many people are afraid of other life forms. And in their reality they’ll create things to be afraid of, things that they will hear that scare them. And yet others will get excited and say, we can learn so much from these others, from realities that know so much more than we do. We’ll learn there will be technology, there will be control of your thoughts by you, of your mind, and of learning how to heal your body on different levels.

Do you choose love or fear?

There’s so much positiveness that’s ready to come in, but which way do you go? Do you choose the love and the positive, or do you choose the fear and the negative? And how do you choose? You choose it with your thoughts. It’s so important right now. The little problems that you’re facing now, of course feel like huge problems, but they’ll drop away because there will be so much more exciting times coming in if you do the work and you let it happen.

Get ready to connect with entities that know more than we do

And we had someone ask a question about shadow people. People are now talking about something called shadow people. This is horrible. They’re going to jump in your body, they’re going to take over. it’s an evil energy. And we explained, sure, if that’s what you want to create. But these shadow people are not bad, are not here to take over your body, are not here to cause problems and evil things happening. Why you are seeing them through the corner of your eye when you think something is there – an animal, a person – because they are from another dimension and have come for a visit, and you’ve been allowed to see them just for an instant, just to get used to this.

Todd: I haven’t seen them yet.

Council: Well sometimes someone will say, “Oh, I thought I saw someone out of the corner of my eye. There’s nothing there.” This is happening and we say here it is positive. It is getting ready to connect with other entities that know so much more than we do, that are here to help, and that we will learn from. But we must use positive thoughts, and that is what we’re getting you ready for. And this is what you’re starting to feel, the old nonsense, the old chaos.

Negative thoughts can create sinus problems

And so believe it or not, one of the big things that are created by people with negative thoughts are sinus problems because it’s up there in that area where your brain works. And so now a lot of people are saying, “Oh, my sinuses, or my allergies,” and they believe it.  It’s part of your thinking. And many wouldn’t understand that, but it’s just how the thoughts affect the body.

Todd: What about the throat? Is it the same with the throat?

Council: Yes, of course.

Todd: I’ve been choking a lot lately.

When you go positive, everything will change for the positive

Council: Yes, of course, because the sinuses are trying to empty out and that will go down into your throat, which by the way happens to Cynthia. It will also go into your stomach and cause diarrhea or constipation, and it affects the whole body. It is so important – we underline it with an asterisk – be careful of your thoughts. Take charge. This is what you wanted. When you go into positive mode, everything will change for the positive. The way you feel, the way you think, what’s happening around you, it will become lighter.

Do things you enjoy

Now when you feel fatigue or depression, take a nap. That will help stop the thoughts. And try to do things that you enjoy, whether it’s the littlest thing or not. Just do something that you will enjoy and you will see it happening. You’ll see it happening to people around you.

It’s not your place to judge, but to send love

Who’s going with the negative and who’s going with the positive? And again, it’s not your place to judge them, but to send them love and allow it to happen. And that’s where you are. But you definitely need to work on your chakras because they’re getting, what we would say, clogged up with old energy that needs to leave.

Todd: Okay, I’ll do that tonight. And what read or energy do you get on my sexuality? I know that’s been a big issue that I’ve talked to you about before, and I’m still working on it a little bit, and I’m feeling more of a connection. Do you get a sense I’m on the right track with that?

You are evolving

Council: Yes, but there are again, your thoughts. You worry about this. You are troubled by this. And so the easiest way to fix it is to say, “I am evolving. I don’t know how my answers will come where I feel good, but they will. And I don’t have to tire myself out by questioning it over and over, by worrying I’m not in the right place over and over. I am evolving. And as I accept that, that I am evolving as slowly or quickly as I can, it’s a wonderful thing. It’s going in the direction I need, that I planned for.” Now isn’t that a better thought?

Todd: Yes, it is. And I know that in the past you talked about working through sexual issues from past lifetimes. I remember you talking about that and that’s what I was getting a read on, but now it sounds like more about current-day worry and business. I just need to let that go.

You don’t have to concentrate on past lives

Council: When you concentrate on the now about knowing you’re evolving, you don’t have to concentrate on past lives. You don’t have to worry did this happen in this life or that life. Did more happen? What have I gone through? That evolving is gone. Because of the major shift, that no longer applies. At one time it would. You want answers from past lives. Now you know, “I got through it. No matter what it was, no matter how many times, I got through it, but I’m evolving now.”

You don’t have to know why, how, or when an answer will come

All the answers I need, all the feelings I need, all the actions I want to be able to do, it’s coming, and I don’t have to know why, how, or when. It is coming, and that’s what creates it. It’s a change from worrying and searching for answers to the now with believing and knowing that you don’t have to know the answer right now, but that it is happening. It has to happen. It has to happen because you chose to be in this reality at this time to go through it and to heal it. And you are exactly where you need to be. It is fine. It is wonderful. Let it happen.

Todd: I just had an intuition that Steph and I got together this lifetime to really look at, and work through, and heal sexual energy and sexual issues, and that we’re still doing that, and that we’re on the right path. That’s what came to me.

Council: Yes, of course.

Todd: Okay, that’s good.

Council: That’s 100% right, and you will. Together you can work it out in whichever way helps the both of you. And it will just come to you when you relax and say, “Okay, that’s one of my purposes of being here and it’s time to change it, evolve it, and make it more of what I wish it would be.” And you do that with your thoughts.

Healing will come from your thoughts

Besides running to a doctor, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, or a counselor, in this part of your life on this planet the healing will come from you. The healing will come from your thoughts. You are in charge now. How wonderful it is that you know that now? There’s no answer that’s going to come from any outside source. It’s going to come from you.

All your answers are inside of you

Do you realize you are this wonderful spirit that has all the answers already? They’re all inside of you. All you have to do is stay positive. You don’t have to try and figure it out. Your only lesson here is, no matter what, stay positive. Treat yourself well. Stay in the vibration of happiness and that’s it, and it will come. It’s so simple. Not easy to do, but you are learning, you are evolving. And the more you do it, the more you’ll begin to see, this works. And that’s why you’re here.

Todd: Wow, okay, that makes sense. It certainly has been a process. And you’re right,  I’ve worried about whether we are ever really truly going to be sexual, but I need to remember that we are here to support each other sexually, even when we don’t do “the act”, but it will happen, and probably happen when I least expect it.

Concentrate on the love

Council: When you bring the love in, everything will happen. Just concentrate on the love. Two people that love. That’s it. It will happen. There is your answer. Concentrate on the love and enjoy each other. And there are different ways to enjoy each other. You are in control. The worrying will not cause it to get better. It will slow things up. So you are here together to work on this and this is exactly what you are doing.

Todd: Okay. Well that does help. That helps me understand why I’ve been so tired and just kind of moody. The big realization I had last night is to be kinder to myself, and so I’ve been in a better mood since last night. So I’ll just keep going with that.  Does anything else come up that I need to do, or that’s pretty much the ticket?

Work with your mind

Council: Work with your mind. Whatever it is that brings you good thoughts, that will help everything change.

Todd: Okay, great, thank you.

You have no idea how many people you will help

Council: We’d like to say here that part of what Todd is here to do – take this in, Todd – is to teach others. And by allowing yourself to share what you’ve learned and to share your questions, you have no idea how many people you will help. But the choice is always yours. If it’s something you need to keep private, that’s fine. You will help many people in many different ways.

Bob: Todd, you’ve got some work to do on your chakras, but it sounds like what you’re experiencing is right on time, and you’re doing the evolution work, so congratulations.

Todd: Yes, thank you. I think so too, and I plan to do the chakra meditation tonight. I have colored lights that match the colors of the chakras that I click on when I go through the chakras, and I really enjoy that. I haven’t done it for a week and a half so I need to do it again.

You’re Here To Learn To Use Your Thoughts To Create The Life You Want

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Rebekah.

Rebekah: I’ve been feeling a bit paranoid recently. I’m afraid of being powerless, I’m afraid of losing control of my mind, and I’m also afraid of developing schizophrenia.

Council: So many people in your reality right now are feeling powerless and are wondering what’s going on in this world, forgetting that you are the one that’s creating your world. Feeling powerless and worried and confused, that vibration is all around. And so how you counteract this is by thinking about the way you’d like this world to be, the way you’d like to be, and the way you’d like your friends and family to be. Ask to see it. Ask to see more people experiencing joy. Put that out there and then just watch and see what the universe brings to you. You are not powerless, and you are not out of control. You are just here to learn how to use your thoughts to create the life that you want.

Rebekah: My cousin has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and I wish I could know how to help him.

Council: Your cousin’s journey is different from yours, and by helping him you can not change what he’s created for himself. There are reasons he wants to go through this. And so all you can do is show him love, show him understanding, and show him kindness at all times. That’s your only role here. You can’t change another person. Look at him as a spirit. Respect him for whatever reason he’s chosen this path. Part of it is to get you to accept it.

Rebekah: Anyway, I was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) a few years ago. The diagnosis makes sense to me. My therapist said I seem to be currently experiencing some kind of trauma response, but the trauma is unknown. I did psychedelic mushrooms for the first time on New Year’s Day this year and had a frightening experience of being a baby and being afraid.

Council: When you’re in this condition of being afraid of losing your mind, do you feel it’s wise to experiment with mushrooms?

Rebekah: My boyfriend called my Mum and she helped me settle down and reframe what I was experiencing. But I do wonder if that triggered me in some way because I started becoming paranoid and obsessed with doing the right thing and making the right decision for my higher self.

My therapist said my ADHD was making those intrusive thoughts 100 times worse because I’d start overanalyzing everything and struggle to snap out of it. I’m currently on anxiety medication that has helped a lot, but right now I feel myself slipping a bit and I just feel a bit on edge. I had a bit of an energy drink today and also some wine last night, so maybe there’s my answer.

Council: So again we ask, do you think that was wise? Did it work out positively for you? Or are you now having an experience where you don’t feel that good?

And so when you make choices, just sit back and see how they affect you. Did it make it better, or did it make it worse? And then there is your answer. And then in the future, you have the choice to do it or not to do it again.

Rebekah: But I feel different, and feel all the pressure to save the world.

Council: And that is impossible.

Rebekah: I feel powerless and powerful at the same time. I have so much restless energy and so many ideas, but no follow-through. I’m so afraid of losing the people I love and something bad happening. I guess I’m just hoping for some guidance from The Council.

Council: We’d ask you to do the chakra meditations. And for you we’d say to be outside more, to be among the trees, to be around nature, and that will help the way you feel. Reconnect to the Earth. Learn how to ground. And then work on finding happy thoughts, whether it’s something you fantasize about, or whether it’s a memory you have, like a happy childhood or a holiday. Think about that. When you use the discipline of your mind to choose your thoughts, to choose happy thoughts, your energy will change. It’s the law of your universe.

Rebekah: I’ve started a counseling course in an effort to have a career in something I enjoy, but I’m worried I won’t be able to handle it with my mindset.

Council: So how do you go into this course when you are already worried? The thing before you go into this course is to change your vibration by thinking this course will be wonderful for you. It will give you more understanding of what goes on. It will help you bond with people and understand what they go through. And that sort of thinking will change how you feel.

Rebekah: How do I become comfortable with powerlessness?

Council: You are not powerless. That’s the first thought. If you let your mind and your thoughts rule you, then you’re not in control, but you have the choice to have better thoughts. And once you get in line with that, you will see how strong you truly are.

What’s The Point In Upgrading My Energy If I Can’t Figure Out How To Use It For Good?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Tâm.

Tâm: Thank you for what you’ve been doing. I really appreciate it. The content you’ve been posting has been very helpful for me. I’ve been reading your blog for a month now. Today I have a question for The Council.

So I’ve been trying the Seven Chakras Breathing meditation on your blog and I’ve seen a development in my energy. I used to feel tired and drained all the time, especially after my spiritual awakening two years ago in 2021. The awakening has affected my education dramatically. I’m in my second year of college. When my Crown Chakra and Third Eye suddenly started opening in 2022 I became frightened of people. I hated crowds. Even coming into a classroom of 30 people was too much for me.

Council: This is because at this particular time you are picking up vibrations and energies of other people. So when you’re in large groups it is very confusing to know what is you and what is coming from somewhere else. At this point it’s good for you to spend more time by yourself and do a lot of meditating, and a lot of connecting, and we see you need more grounding in your current reality.

And so every day when you wake up we’d ask you to picture roots coming out of your feet going down into the center of the Earth. And you can picture the center of the Earth any way you like. And when your roots are deeply embedded, they begin to pull up energy from the Earth, up through the roots, up into your feet and all through your body, and up through the top of your head. At this time in your life you need more of this meditation to focus and be grounded in this reality, and to have things become clearer to you, and for you to see how to handle things better. You need that connection to the Earth in this reality.

Tâm: I have symptoms of anxiety whenever I go out (heavy breathing and sweating), but I know it wasn’t a normal mental illness. My grades suffered because of my lack of participation at school. I didn’t even have enough energy to do my homework and assignments.

Council: The anxiety and the school work is all in chaos right now, and so you must do this grounding to help yourself. And when you feel uncomfortable, know you’re picking up vibrations of things around you, and know that you are fine and you are safe, but you can use your mind to see things calming down, to imagine yourself feeling better.

And so it’s the discipline of learning how to work with this new energy that you’re allowing to come forward, and that will change in this reality, in this lifetime. And you’ll improve your meditations, you’ll improve the reality, and you’ll improve your schoolwork, but this takes time, it takes the grounding, and of course it takes knowing of who you are. You are spirit and you are opening up to more of what’s going on around you. And this is all a good thing.

Tâm: Luckily I was able to pull myself together recently and was able to enjoy my classes and come to them more often. However, my grades still suffered and I don’t know why. I tried thinking more positively, I had more joy doing school work, and I enjoyed my classes. I don’t run on deadlines anymore and I always plan out my work carefully. The process was looking great, but the result was still horrible.

Council: So you need to focus on being safe. That’s a big issue in your current reality, so that you are safe, you are grounded, and you see your grades becoming what you want them to be. You see yourself just pretending in your mind and feel what it would be like to have no stress around your grades, and you’re now connecting to the energy of the direction you want to go in. Instead of the chaos and instead of thinking: Why isn’t this working? Why am I doing this? Why am I doing that? Just think that you are safe. Think about how you want your grades to be. This is what you’re creating at this time. And you’ll see when you do this in a calm manner, it will begin to change. There will be ups and downs until you learn how to use this energy, but you’re capable of doing this.

Tâm: I’m majoring in Design. I know when it comes to things like Art, there’s no definite right way to do something to guarantee you get a good grade.

Council: And so connect with your higher self and say, “Let’s see what I can create. How will I use this to design, to imagine, to create things that I love.” And the big thing here is that you love it. Do not create things the way you feel other people would want it, or try to meet some idea of what you’re supposed to do. But just go easily and playfully into, let’s see what I can create. And in that calmness, and in that connecting with your higher self, it will become easier. And you’ll be surprised at the beautiful things you can create.

Tâm: It’s not like the normal testing with right and wrong answers.

Council: Exactly.

Tâm: My grades have been fluctuating from the highest to the lowest. It feels so random and I found no correlation. I don’t understand it. Sometimes I feel bad and I still get good grades. Other times I thought I was doing well and I got the worst kind of grades.

Council: So wouldn’t it be wonderful, when you feel bad and get good grades, to take a look at that and begin to question: Why do I feel bad? Look at this. I really can create good grades. I can create good feelings. And then when you feel good, you get grades that don’t make you happy, you can laugh at this and say, “Oh, I’m not focusing on what I really want to create. This is just a reminder and I can create it the way I want it.” This is your learning. This is the purpose that you’re going through this right now. Accept. Be playful. Nothing is so serious. You can change it with your focus, your thoughts, your feelings, and you’ll create what you want in this reality.

Tâm: What’s the point of upgrading my energy if I can’t figure out how to use it for good?

Council: But you will figure it out because you will focus on what you want. And you will understand when you get anxiety, it’s picking up the energy of things around you. It’s not you. And you can easily say, “Okay, I understand why this is happening, but I don’t need it at this point.” And you will be in control and it will change.

Tâm: What’s the point if I can’t apply this energy in my practical life? My mental well-being has been upgraded, but my physical environment efforts yield the same horrible ending.

Council: When your mental, emotional, and spiritual energy (which are all one and are all connected), when that changes to connecting with who you really are with understanding, the disappointment you go through is just a way to show yourself you’re not doing this right. This is not what I want. I must find another way. When you can accept that and learn from that (and that will happen over and over until you learn from that), you can change anything.

Tâm: I really need answers from The Council. What am I missing here? Are there still blockages in my energy or my mental thoughts?

Council: The blockages are in your mental thoughts, not in your energy. Your energy is fine. It’s now time for the discipline of working with your thoughts, thinking of things that bring you joy, and thinking of things the way you want them to be. But when you think of this, also remember to feel it as if you already have it. What does that feel like? And that’s how you create.

Tâm: Or am I not taking enough action in the physical world?

Council: Action in the physical world is not needed. It’s needed in your thoughts.

Tâm: I really want to get better grades. I want to show myself how capable I am and be surprised by my own abilities. I just want my life to be more stable.

The last two years have been so rough because my mood and energy just kept getting in my way of doing physical things. Now I finally have my energy back. Please tell me why I’m not seeing changes in my physical world yet.

Council: Because you haven’t changed your thoughts yet. But now you have information on sitting, meditating, being quiet, and just feeling the good energy of who you are. You’ve now learned how to ground every day. You can bring in energy from above your head and down through your body to bring you calmness and help to focus the way you want to focus. You are on the right track.

It makes us very happy to help your readers. It’s so much fun for us to give answers that help people move forward. That is our purpose right now.

Did My Partner Pre-Plan His Prostate Cancer?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Lizzy.

Lizzy: My life partner was recently diagnosed with localized Stage 4 prostate cancer, which was a huge shock for both of us because we didn’t expect anything like this. I’ve been interested in topics like pre-birth agreements for some time and I’d like to ask: Is this a disease my partner wanted to experience?

Council: This disease wasn’t specifically called for, but it was some sort of disease, some sort of malady that would bring the both of you together, to work together to find a way to deal with it. And so at this time what was created was the prostate problem.

And so a Stage 4 prostate cancer in your reality is a time where they would suggest surgery, and if you’re comfortable with this, then it’s fine to go in that direction. If you’re not comfortable with it – and the choice is always yours – then you should explore other modalities, other things that can help.

And so you will create this now, step by step, how you want it to go, how you want to experience it. But it was specifically to bring the two of you to work together as you look for a way to heal, a way to show other people that will hear your stories or know what’s going on.

So you’re out there on the leading edge deciding which way to go and then to see it working, without doubt, to see, yes, this will work, this sounds right. This feels good. Follow what feels good. It’s now the time in this reality where everyone is learning how to follow their feelings. And so we would say, explore that.

Lizzy: Is there another reason why my partner has prostate cancer at such a young age?

Council: It’s just that the time was right for both of you to experience some sort of episode where there was a medical problem, and it has gone to prostate cancer.

Lizzy: What message is this disease supposed to be telling my partner?

Council: The message is to explore, to learn more, not to be frightened by a medical diagnosis, but to know in your heart that when you believe, when you research and you find something that feels right, to follow it and know that it will work. And so it’s learning with your feelings, learning from the knowledge you have, and to learn how not to doubt, but to go forward.

Lizzy: We talk about this disease openly because I know he needs it and I try to be supportive.

Council: Wonderful.

Lizzy: I’m reading a lot on the internet about prostate cancer and I’m looking for ways to help him even more. I started helping by cooking him healthier and lighter meals.

Council: How does that make you feel? Is that working?

Lizzy: I’ve read that cauliflower, broccoli, and celery are good for the prostate. Am I on the right track?

Council: If you were to read and believe that drinking soda every day would help it, if you truly believe it, it will work. So the point here is to find what you believe. Ah ha, this will work, this sounds good. When you have that ah-ha moment, follow it.

Lizzy: Are there any other superfoods that could help him to heal?

Council: Well if you continue to read in your reality, what’s been created is tomatoes are wonderful for the prostate. The zinc vitamin is excellent for the prostate. Large amounts of Vitamin C are good for the prostate. And yet if you were to read that and not believe that could work, it won’t. The lesson here is to feel what feels right. Acknowledge what feels right no matter what it is that you want to try. When it feels right and it gives you hope, and you know this can work, you should follow whatever it is.

And so continue to read up on it and maybe there will be more that you will feel will work. But we’d say at this point to do the color breathing, not only of the first chakra but all the chakras, and Bob will send that to you.

Lizzy: In general I try to stay positive because I know it’s important. But the more I think about it, I feel like I’m struggling because I don’t know what to do to help him heal.

Council: Ah ha. Just the word, struggle, brings on doubt and brings on the feeling of being helpless. And so now you should think: I know what to do. I’m searching for it and I will get the answer by reading and feeling what gives me more hope. What’s the thought that gives me more hope? What is it that we should do? And follow that.

Lizzy: Is there anything you would recommend?

Council: Of course, meditation every day. And the part of the body – in your reality there’s an explanation for this – the prostate is moving forward, going forward in your life. So if there’s a fear about the future, it could cause prostate cancer. If there’s a fear of money or career it would also cause this prostate problem. So look at what’s not working, or what’s causing you the most trouble in this life, and work on that.

Lizzy: His Urologist has recommended that my partner have surgery. That would mean we wouldn’t be able to have the children we want so badly. Is there any other option?

Council: Well there’s always the adoption option. But again we’d say research this, and if it’s possible, and you feel the only way to go forward now is to work with the sperm and have it frozen so that you can use it in the future, then by all means do that. You must follow what feels good to the two of you. That’s what’s being taught by all of us spirits that are out there channeling and teaching everyone that’s ready, everyone that’s wanting to grow, that now is the time when you need an answer, follow your feelings.

Lizzy: The only thing we could think of right now is sperm cryopreservation. Is that the path we should take?

Council: It’s not necessary right now while you do the research. If you feel, after trying other things or looking for other methods that feel right, if nothing feels right, then go in the direction of cryopreservation.

Lizzy: My life so far has taught me that every unpleasant situation has a hidden gift.

Council: And this will show the both of you are the creator. How you think about things, what you choose to focus on, you will see coming into your life. So no one can create for you. You will learn how to create by your research, by your thoughts, by your feelings, and you will learn that, yes, we are creating what happens in our lives.

Lizzy: Is there some gift for our relationship hidden in this disease?

Council: Always to bring you closer, always to learn how to rely on the spirit, rely on that you both have chosen this, and to go forward. There’s a great adventure in front of you. As long as you get rid of the fear, go on this adventure. You’ve chosen to do this together, and so you are fulfilling it. And now create the outcome that you want.

Lizzy: Is this disease meant to push us in a different direction in this life?

Council: It’s to help you become more of who you really are.

Did I Set Up A Difficult Time As A Test Of Faith?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Anonymous Number 3.

Anon 3: Your posts lately have been incredible. Thank you so much. To keep the conversation going I have a question that ties in with your post, Coming From Your Heart, Connecting To Your Higher Self, And Feeling Good, and your post, What Are The Limits To Positive Thinking?

Council: Oh, there are no limits to positive thinking.

Anon 3: I had a huge leap in my spiritual awareness around 2013 when I found Abraham’s Law of Attraction.

Council: Oh, wonderful. Yes, it’s so helpful, and it’s leading many people to see things differently.

Anon 3: I had this incredible experience of seemingly pulling things out of thin air. It was exhilarating. Some years later disaster struck and my entire life crashed around me. Within a couple months I found myself homeless, unwell, and without my beloved partner.

Council: Look how you created the other side of the coin. And so you created it to learn from it, experience it, and change whatever you wish to change.

Anon 3: The Abraham System didn’t work for me then. I don’t think I’ve understood why that happened yet. I usually learned the lesson from an experience, but this one has consistently evaded me, and I think I’m still scarred by it even though it was six years ago.

Council: You’ve created this experience, (we’ll use Abraham’s words) you’ve created this contrast in your life to see how it was wonderful, and now experiencing the other side of the coin. And it’s your wish at this point to change it back. And you feel the Abraham material isn’t working for you because now what your higher self is showing you is you must find another way. Abraham took you so far, you see it works, and if you stop doubting it would work again.

But now you seem to be looking for something else. And many of the souls right now, what they’re looking for is a way to connect with their higher selves and to get the answer themselves. And what we’ve all agreed on before coming into this reality is that at a certain stage of your life, you’d get your answers by the way you feel, and that’s by connecting with the Heart Chakra.

So whatever it is that you want – success, more money, a new lover – go into your heart chakra and see the beautiful green or pink light, and picture what you want. And then sit and ask your higher self, how do I get there? You’ll be surprised how you will get ideas and how things will automatically come to you because every day you’ll say: “I want to come from my heart. I want to connect with my higher self. I want that guidance in my life.” And so when you do that, you’ll begin to see how in control you are to put yourself on the path you want, and have a life of joy, which we all planned for when we came into this life.

And so we experience the opposites and then we find a way to change it. And we bring in the good, and sometimes we go back into what Abraham describes as contrast, and then we change it again. Life goes up and down, up and down. And that’s what we all want because we figure: Coming here, this will be a lot of fun. Let’s see what I create. Let’s see who comes in to help me in this life. And so that is where you are right now.

You are to rely on yourself by taking the time every day to tell your higher self you want to connect with it because you are your higher self. But you want to find a way to create things beautifully and easily in your life. So when you have to make a decision, ask your higher self, and sit and wait. And don’t wait for the words. Think of which way you want it to go. Then how do you feel? How does it feel in your chest? in your stomach? How does your body feel? And that is what we all, at this time, are learning. How to make decisions and create a better life by what we feel. Not logically, not with words, but by what we feel. That’s what we mean to get across: How we feel. And that’s why you are now on a new way of learning.

Anon 3: Since my life fell apart six years ago I’ve felt it almost impossible to align to my highest timeline or do the Abraham work because when I do, I remember what happened to me and I think there’s no point.

Council: And so, right there, that belief, that thought, will never make it work.

Anon 3: Did I set this catastrophic time up as a test of faith?

Council: Of course. You set it up for a lot of reasons, but mostly so that you would grow, and you will learn how to guide yourself.

Anon 3: Around then I started asking my higher self for guidance, but I’m not sure whether I can trust it.

Council: Of course you can trust it, but you must learn to work with the feelings. Go into the heart chakra, picture what you want in there and ask the question. Ask your higher self: Show me, and then forget about the doubt. And of course, when you do doubt, just acknowledge it and say: “No, No. I will wait. I am my higher self. I am connecting to me. I am connecting to what I have planned and what I want to go through in this life.” And you will see the difference.

Anon 3: At the time, I asked for and thought I saw signs that my partner was returning, but they never did. Since then I’ve asked for guidance about several other things and it was spot on.

Most recently I have finally, after all these years, felt ready to be in another relationship and really want to be married.

Council: And if that is what you really want, and you work with your higher self, and you work with being in joy and happiness, and aligning with that higher vibration, you will bring that in.

Anon 3: I’ve asked my higher self if this new person in my life is the one, and it’s continually and consistently sent me signs saying: Yes, yes, yes.

Council: Okay, so then when you sit down and you meditate, thank your higher self and ask to be shown more signs that this person is for you. It’s that simple. The doubts are what changes the outcome. And so with faith in your intuition, in your higher self, ask for the signs and wait until you see them.

Anon 3: But because I thought I saw these same signs about my ex-partner, I’m doubting them.

Council: Of course, but now you have another way to do it. Now you have another way to ask. And you have another way to find the answers, and that is with your feelings.

Anon 3: I also did this thing where for a long time I followed angel numbers and synchronicities thinking they must be my path.

Council: Oh, it helps many, many people. And then again after a while that doesn’t seem to work because you want more. Your higher self wants you to learn you can do it easily. You can do it from your own knowledge, and the answers will come from you.

Anon 3: But most of the time I just landed in hot water by following the angel numbers and synchronicities…

Council: Ah, there’s a sign.

Anon 3: …where they were indicative that something bad was going to happen, which adds to the mistrust I now feel of the signs I receive. I’d love to know what happened there.

Council: You don’t need the angel numbers and synchronicities anymore. That’s why you created it not to work the way it did before. It’s only your way of finding a way to get guidance for yourself, a way to grow and learn how powerful it is when you can ask your higher self and get the answer from your higher self, not from anywhere else.

Anon 3: How do I know if and when I can trust the signs I’m being sent by my higher self?

Council: Because your higher self will only send you positive answers, and it will always feel good. And the outcome – whatever it’s showing you to do, or say, or the direction to go in – will always bring you experiences that are positive, that make you feel good, and help you grow more in a positive direction.

And so we send you all blessings, and thoughts of happiness, and thoughts of love and joy. And seeing the energy around you growing and becoming more beautiful. And you feel lighter than you have ever felt before because you are light. Let it shine.

Chakras, Astral Travel, Sacred Geometry, And Spiritual Growth Questions

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Hanah.

Hanah: I have awakened and my spirituality and love for humanity grows each day.

Council: This is wonderful. That’s what you’re here for.

Hanah: I’d love to know how I can feel more energy in my body.

Council: Constantly work on the chakras. Constantly bring in energy with your mind. See your chakras spinning. See yourself feeling good and more powerful.

Hanah: I want to learn how to astral travel so I can communicate with beings of light on other planets.

Council: You do astral travel at night, but you’re not aware of this. If you want to have that experience during the day and to be able to do it on purpose, it takes a lot of practice. Give yourself time every day to lie down somewhere or sit in a comfortable chair and picture yourself as spirit coming out of your body.

Sometimes it helps to imagine the silver chord that comes out right below the navel, and follow that silver chord. See yourself going with it and flying up into the air. Concentrate on that silver chord and know that whenever you think about it, you’ll come back into your body. Practice this simple technique and it will happen. When you go to bed at night you can practice this again and see it happening, and your body and your mind will follow what you create with your thoughts.

Hanah: I’d love to learn more about sacred geometry and the masters.

Council: The best way is to learn the symbols, and there are many. You can get books on this and you can find information on the internet. But carefully look at the symbol, draw the symbol, and then as you create this symbol, stare at it and see how it feels. What is that symbol telling you? And then you can read more about that symbol and what others think it means. But it’s important to focus on the symbol, draw it, and let the symbol speak to you. There are many, many books on this. It will be a great learning experience for you and then you’ll use it in your life whenever you need it.

Hanah: What do you see for me as my next step toward my spiritual growth?

Council: It looks like what your higher self is telling you is to learn about sacred geometry. From learning about this we eventually see you’ll travel to Europe. You’ll find sacred spots you’d like to visit. You’ll be off on a wonderful adventure and you’ll learn more about your life and what is happening to you when you start these travels.

Happiness and blessings to everyone. Enjoy yourself. Find your power. Create happiness every day, even if it’s for the littlest bit, because when you’re in that vibration, you’ll be able to bring into your life what will give you happiness on a longer basis at any time. So have fun with it.

Follow-up Question About Whether Tooth Health Problem Is From This Lifetime Or Another

This post answers a follow-up question for an anonymous reader who asked The Council questions which we answered in our post, How Can I Improve The Health Of My Teeth?

Anon: Thank you, Bob and Cynthia, for answering my questions in your post, and for your help. I’d like to ask for some clarification on the part of that post where you say that my problem comes from another time. Are you talking about another time in my current life, or from another lifetime?

Council: It is both, but we’d say because it’s your desire to focus your attention in your current lifetime, we ask you to stay with your concerns about your current lifetime. When you clear up this problem with your teeth that you’ve brought from another time, when you clear it up here, you also clear up what comes from the past. Energy is energy. It was your desire to work on this problem and we’d say, concentrate on the present, knowing that all will be released and all will heal when you do this work.

Anon: If it’s from another lifetime, is there anything I need to do?

Council: You need to work on this now, in the present. Concentrate on healing. You can have the thought that, “As I heal this, I release the past and everything is healed.”

Anon: Do I need to clear that energy or do something to help my current life?

Council: Work on your chakras.

Bob: So you’re recommending the chakra breathing to release what’s coming up from another time in their current lifetime as well as in a past lifetime?

Council: Yes. It will heal on all levels.

How Can I Improve The Health Of My Teeth?

This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader.

Anon: I’d like to ask The Council about my teeth. I’ve had problems with my teeth for a long time, but it was only during the last couple of years or so that I’ve really been trying to change things to improve my teeth. There have been some improvements, but some things still keep getting worse. I’ve changed my diet, I’ve done a lot of Rife Frequencies, used the Perkl-Light machine a lot, and brushed my teeth with homemade tooth powder, which is supposed to help and be better for you than over-the-counter toothpastes.

It has become really frustrating at times doing all this and trying to keep positive and upbeat in this process. What else can I do, or what else do I need to do to better my teeth’s health?

Council: All of what you’re doing is good, but we want you to go back to working energetically first. You’ll work on the 5th Chakra and the 6th Chakra, and you’ll do the color breathing and the visualization that goes with this.

We see here there’s also a deep (what you’d consider) subconscious belief that what you’re trying isn’t working and that you’ll be frustrated from this. This comes from another time, not so much with your teeth, but you experienced a lot of frustrations where things in your life weren’t going well. In your current life what you wanted to do was to stand in your truth and talk about how you felt. You wanted to be able to talk with kindness about how you’re being spoken to, how you’re being treated, and how not to (we’d say) swallow it or keep it in.

Talk more about what you want, what you agree with, and what you don’t agree with. This is so you can live your truth in your current lifetime. Talk about what you want. Don’t keep the dreams bottled up inside. Talk about them. Talk about people that treat you kindly, and thank them and appreciate them. Talk about the people that don’t treat you kindly and how you feel this is affecting your own self-esteem. It’s affecting things that you believe. It’s good to talk. Keep it going.

Also we move to your ears. Listen to what people tell you. Give them time. And as they talk, don’t think about your answer, or what you think it means, or what you think it doesn’t mean, but listen to them. Give people the attention they want and they are here needing.

When you speak and when you listen, the whole problem you have with your mouth will disappear.

Bob: So you’re suggesting that the problems that Anonymous is having with their teeth is related to communication and listening?

Council: Yes.

Unfortunately there’s a saying that this person is always in their head. Come out of your head, think of how you feel, the way people speak to you, and think of how what you say to another person makes them feel. The connection will be made and you’ll see the difference in your teeth.

How Can I Alleviate My Neck And Shoulder Pain?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Vertigo.

Vertigo: Hi. I’m wondering if The Council has any advice for my neck and shoulder pain. It started a couple months ago and my entire right arm hurts and tingles throughout the day. A Physical Therapist says it’s a nerve compression issue, but so far no actual therapy helps. The pain is only a 2 or 3 out of 10, but it’s really bothersome and it’s a major distraction from the rest of my life.

Council: What we see here, and of course we always start in energy first, but your 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th chakras aren’t fully working the way they should be. At this point we advise you to start every day or every other day doing the chakra breathing and spend a little more time on the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th chakras. Once these chakras are aligned and working clearly, then you’ll address in your physical reality the compressed nerves in your neck and the right side of your head.

Physical Therapy is a wonderful thing, but it doesn’t release the nerve compression. And so we advise you to find a Chiropractor that you hear good things about and you can believe in, and have the Chiropractor work on the compressed nerves. If you start working on an energetic level first and then take the steps in the physical plane to work on the physical part that’s bothering you, you’ll be able to relieve the compressed nerves and the pain will be relieved.

Bob: Any suggestions on how long Vertigo should work with the energy and the chakras before seeking Chiropractic help?

Council: It’s always up to the person how difficult they find doing this, or if their intention is to work with this and see it working and feel it working. Do some visual work while you go into the chakras. What do you think you see? The more you do this, the faster the chakra healing will come in. We can’t give you a timeline because you are the creator. You will create when you are to heal this and how you are to heal this. And so we’d say when you’re working with the chakras and when it feels comfortable and you feel just a little different, then we advise you to go ahead with the Chiropractor and the physical part.

Bob: Do you recommend any sort of visualization during the chakra meditations for easing up the compressed nerves?

Council: You will do the correct breathing and use the correct colors. Start by going into your heart. What do you think it looks like in there? When you look at that green energy, do you see anything? You may not in the beginning, but keep asking the questions: Is it dull, heavy energy? Is it clear? Is it flowing? Does your heart chakra want to show you anything?

Then move up to the throat and you’ll work with the symbol for this chakra and the beautiful light blue. Again, do you see light blue all around your throat? Do you see it only on one side? Ask your throat what it wishes to show you.

Then move up to the Third Eye. Ask the same questions. What is in the Third Eye? How does the indigo color look? Is there something your Third Eye needs? Is there something your Third Eye would like to get rid of and show you?

Then move to your crown. Do you see the beautiful purple energy coming down into your Crown Chakra? Is there a nice flow of energy? Does it stop and go? Is your Crown Chakra accepting this purple energy? Is there something you can see? Is there a picture? Is something in the way of the purple energy? Is there something your Crown Chakra needs?

Play with this, and as you do you’ll see changes begin to happen.

Bob: But you don’t recommend any specific visualization for the nerve decompression?

Council: When you go and seek the physical help, as the Chiropractor is working on you, you can see yourself healing. See the Chiropractor releasing the compressed nerves and feel relieved that things are beginning to feel so much better.

All seven chakras are good to work on, but take more time on the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th chakras.

Bob: Is it worthwhile discussing what may have caused this nerve compression?

Council: There are some memories there. There’s also some stress that comes from the current lifetime. It’s just the weak point where the stress has landed, but we see that this can be fixed.

What Can I Do to Improve My Sickly Mental And Physical Condition?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Christea17.

Christea: I’d like to ask The Council about my health. I have a long list of health issues, both physical and mental, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and attention deficit disorder.

Council: First, a change in your diet is very necessary. Most of what you eat should be from the Earth. Plants, fruits, and some protein is needed. All sweets should be eliminated. Then you have to work daily on your chakras. We’d suggest a chakra healing; first a simple one and then the one that goes deeper into the chakras. We have these chakra meditations here for you, and with them you’ll start to feel a difference.

In time, if you’re determined to feel better, you’ll be grateful for everything you have around you. To do this work, the physical problems, mental problems, and depression will change, but you must begin with the energy work on your chakras and your diet.

Christea: My energy levels are very low most days and I’d like to know what causes this. It’s getting harder and harder to live a normal life, and work is very exhausting. I’m only 30 years old, but I feel like an 80-year-old.

Council: When your chakras aren’t working properly, you’ll feel exhausted, and you’ll feel depressed. We advise that you begin this chakra practice and changing your diet as soon as possible.

Christea: What can I do to improve my physical and mental condition.

Bob: Anything else besides the diet and the chakra meditations?

Council: This will take great discipline, so before we’d go into anything else, we’d say to work with this. Put all your focus on this.

What’s Causing My Mysterious Allergy Symptoms?

This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader who’s been having mysterious allergy symptoms for the last six months.

Anon: These symptoms feel like angry little pinpricks and itchiness, Sometimes I can literally feel it sweep up my body when I begin to experience symptoms, or when I wake up at night.

Council: Many things are going on here. You need to work on each of your chakras. Learn to do chakra breathing. Energy isn’t moving through your body easily. We suggest getting Chiropractic adjustments with a Chiropractor who uses Applied Kinesiology. You can also get some massage.

Anon: It’s especially on my arms, hands, and behind my ears.

Council: You have many pinched nerves and this is all from stress.

Anon: I thought it was a shampoo I was using, the medicine I was taking, or the ultraviolet resin I was working with. But now I’m in a different country and it’s happening again. I feel like my body is trying to tell me something, but I’m not sure what it is.

Council: Your body is telling you it needs help with your chakras. You can reverse these symptoms with Chiropractic adjustments, massage, and most of all, working with your chakras. Yoga will also be good after a while. You can very easily reverse these symptoms. Let go of worrying about them. Your symptoms are from stuck energy.

Anon: Is it stress-related, or is it a reaction to letting go of stress?

Council: Your symptoms are a result of being afraid of letting go.

Anon: I’ve just moved to a new country where I feel much safer and happier, but at night I’ve also been having nightmares about being left alone in one way or another…

Council: Yes, this is abandonment.

Anon: …which is something I know I fear and wanted to work on in this lifetime.

Council: And that fear will start in the first chakra and work its way up.

Anon: Is there any way to stop these symptoms? I’m especially sad that I’m having this reaction when I’m working with ultraviolet resin because this brings me lots of joy and is a creative outlet for me.

If illness is something I’ve chosen to help me learn a lesson, what’s the lesson I’m supposed to be learning here?

Council: The lesson here is to learn another way to care for yourself. It’s to learn about energy. It’s to learn about the different layers of a body. Any sort of book that talks about alternative healing. or the different layers in your aura. or anything like that will help you understand the energy and get it to move.

How Can I Find Out What Star Family I Come From?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Pedro. He says for the last few days I’m finding evidence I might be a Starseed. The Council says the time is right. If this evidence makes things clearer, then you’re ready to explore this. You’ve created doubt because you wanted to find a way to find the connection, not from someone pointing it out to you, but for you to discover this connection on your own.

Pedro says, I’d like The Council to tell me what I have to do to be completely clear about my origins, which constellation I came from, and how I can keep in contact with my star family. The Council says the easiest way to begin this project is to do lots of research. On the internet you can read about different star systems and constellations. You can also read books. Keep reading until you feel a connection to something. You’ll be drawn to the constellation and your star family. Discover how the entities lived in each star system, what they’re doing now, and what they can offer you. Does it feel familiar? Does it make you feel a connection?

Visit museums and planetariums. Do whatever you can to bring this thought of your origins and your star family to your seventh chakra where your purpose in life resides. You’ll see why you’re here and why you want to discover this now. The best way to do this is through meditation. If you don’t meditate, then before you go to bed you can ask for dreams and you can imagine what it would be like to understand where you came from and what it’s like to connect with your star family.

There are sights on the internet that have characteristics of each star system and why they’re here now. See if you fit any of these descriptions. The wonderful thing about this is that you’re doing it in a way that you’ll discover it so there won’t be any doubts. That’s what this life is about for you. You wanted to discover answers. You wanted to go forward. And you wanted to know the way to do this. That’s what’s coming up for you now.

Pedro says, My spiritual journey is only the beginning. I don’t have any spiritual practices. I don’t know how to meditate, and I fear being caught in deceiving traps by evil spirits while meditating or trying to channel, since this almost happened to me before. The Council asks, Why do you feel you can be trapped by evil spirits? This won’t happen unless you create it, unless you focus on it, unless you have such a fear about it that you won’t learn to meditate, you won’t allow yourself to learn about energy, spirits, or guides who will come in and work with you. Anyone who meditates, or wants to go beyond this dimension to find answers, always surround yourself with the beautiful white light and there will be no need to worry about evil spirits.

We enjoyed these questions and we wish everyone joy on their path. All the answers you’re looking for are within you. It’s important to trust and believe in yourself. Know that you are spirits that have had many lifetimes, that have lived in many dimensions, and in many areas that aren’t in your reality. When you begin to ask the questions, you’ll find the answers. You’ll remember past lives here, past lives in other star systems, and past lives that take you in between your realities.

There’s so much out there. It’s important for you to remember first and foremost to start believing you are more than your human body that you’re traveling around in. You are a spirit with great power. You’re the creator of your reality. Nothing is beyond your reach. Focus on who you truly are. Visualize what you’d look like as a spirit, and feel that. Feel your heart when you visualize this and all the connections, all the help you need, and all the growth and expansion you need will come.

Tell Me About My Daughter’s Star Connections

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, E-Diggity, who says, My daughter has come into a psychic ability and she has guides who I believe are Arcturian. I’d like to know more about her star connections, the nature of my relationship with my daughter, and these other beings beyond this lifetime.

The Council says it’s interesting you say your daughter has become psychic because the main star system she returns to is the Andromeda galaxy. The purpose of these souls, when they visit other star systems, when they visit planets, when they visit other dimensions, is to bring peace and love. They use their psychic ability to see how people are expanding, what they’re learning, and how they’re using their energy to expand their connection to others. In your current lifetime you both are here to bring as much peace and love as you can into your reality.

When you come from Andromeda, it’s not only characterized by psychic ability and spreading peace and love, but being intellectual is also important, studying many different subjects of where you are, what dimension you’re in, and how everything is moving forward. Knowledge, increasing your psychic ability, meditation, reading about channelers, and working with energy in any way possible, even only if it’s for yourself, are all important.

When you’re around people, bring in this energy of peace and love. You do this by increasing the energy in your seventh chakra. You can do this by learning to do the chakra breathing meditation. That’s one of the ways of doing that. Constantly work with the vibration of the purple light that always keeps you connected to your higher purpose.

You and your daughter are here together and you’ve shared other lifetimes together. In your current lifetime you wanted to expand in all directions. If you find you’re with people who are troubled, people who are depressed, people who are angry, you wanted to learn to use the energy of the purple ray to increase your energy, and then when you feel the power increase within you, you wanted to spread it out around these people.

It’s a great job you’ve taken on. In other lifetimes, when spirits from other dimensions that weren’t peaceful came to Earth or other planets, you’d jump in and go there to keep an eye on this and send in the energy of peace and love. And you’d help people with their schooling and learning because as they learn, they’d go more in the direction of peace and expansion.

When you and your daughter were around in the time of Lemuria and Atlantis, you were there helping them learn to use energy, to use intelligence, to use the vibration from stones and the elements in that island. But then you saw that by helping them learn, it wasn’t possible for you to get in the way of learning when these people turned greedy and power-hungry.

You are both advanced in this field of energy work. We advise you to study any subject that brings you pleasure – anything in the sciences, learn about history, and watch the people around you and help them move forward in peace and love. That’s what you both have decided to do in this lifetime, which is a very great task.

You and your daughter have done a lot of traveling. You’ve been to Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, for quite a long time. In the very beginning of your work you were also star seeds. These are souls that travel to different new galaxies, new planets, new stars, and create life there. That was also an experience that this mother and child had. They’ve been around forever popping in and out of galaxies.

It’s nice to know about your past, but you are here on Earth to concentrate on your life here. Study, learn, share information, help other people to learn in any way you can, even if it’s to teach young children to play games and learn. Whatever you do, bring happiness, bring peace, and bring love. This is what you and your daughter pre-planned in spirit.

E-Diggity says, I hope to validate and facilitate my daughter’s expansion into these psychic abilities. I want to invite this connection to these benevolent beings and do what we came here to do. The Council says you’re already connected. There isn’t any more you need to do. If you meditate, if you spend time outside at night when it’s warm and you can just sit somewhere and watch the stars, you’ll feel a great love in your heart. You’ll smile and with a bit of remembering you’ll realize that what you look at in the sky is also your home, not just this planet where you are now.

The Council closes by saying if there’s a place where you can go to study the stars, watch movies about the stars, or go to a planetarium, when you take these steps it sets off a memory. On your own you’ll begin to have a feeling of what to do. Go to museums and places where you can learn about the different galaxies and about what people believed went on there. Learn the sciences, and you’ll feel very much at home.

Why Do I Keep Having One Health Problem After Another?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Sunshine73, who says, For years I’ve had one medical problem after another. Each problem seems bad and I think I’ll die from it. Why do I continuously have these issues? As soon as one health problem goes away something else pops up. I’m dealing with a health problem now and I’m very stressed. Why is this happening to me? Did I agree in spirit to this, or is it something in my life I’m doing wrong and it’s keeping me in this never-ending cycle of health problems and worries? Is there something I can do?

The Council says there were many, many lifetimes where you were a healer, a doctor, or a person who assists sick people when they’re unable to get around. With each lifetime you saw people suffer, people go through agonizing diseases, people not being able to take care of themselves and dying, and sick people being abandoned because no one compassionate was around them who tried to understand their illness.

In each of these lifetimes you did everything you could to be of service. In every lifetime you tried to imagine how each person went through their illness. You always wanted to be someone who could help a sick person turn around their illness.

For over 100 lifetimes you continued in this role of wanting to heal, wanting to help people, and wanting them to know they weren’t alone as they went through illness. As you went through these lifetimes with these people and didn’t understand how you could help them, you began to become afraid, and this fear grew in each lifetime. Every time you saw someone who was sick and needed help, the fear grew within you.

You started to imagine what you’d do if it was you who was sick. But as your lives went on and you saw so much pressure put on these sick people, and the pressure you put on yourself to try and relieve them in some way, this pressure began to stay in your vibration and turned into fear.

In each lifetime when you created your reality, you wanted more understanding. You wanted to know why people were getting sick. You wanted to know how to deal with this sickness. And most of all you wanted to know how to stop the illness. In each lifetime when you weren’t able to turn the illness around, you kept the frustration within you. You thought you didn’t do enough. This began to show up in other lifetimes and depressed you.

When you’d go back into spirit and work on this frustration with your guides, you always wanted to understand it and care for people with goodness and love in your heart, and to go through that healing without the fear. In each lifetime, even this present one, you want to understand what was wrong and deal with it in any way you can, but you wanted to let go of the fear.

For the fear to grow within you in your current lifetime, you created a life where you’d experience a lot of what you’ve seen in your past lives and a lot of new things that need medical and emotional help. As you go through this, hopefully you’d keep asking yourself, Why is this happening? Am I really safe? How can I make this illness go away? That’s why you’re experiencing all of these symptoms.

Any time in your present life you can begin to imagine yourself with one ailment after another somehow getting better on its own. You don’t have to know how this happens. You are spirit and you came into this life to turn this sickness around slowly, with meditation and going into the state of joy. Just know this is possible if you feel the love and if you feel the healing can be done.

You don’t need to suffer through illness to see that you and the people around you can feel better. Start to imagine what it’s like to go through these illnesses and try to understand this is why you created them. But it’s not necessary for you to hurt, to suffer, to feel alone, and to have the fear of abandonment. It’s not necessary for you to go through this.

What’s necessary for you is to find love within yourself and feel it grow. Work with your heart chakra. Visualize the green light from your heart chakra spreading through your entire body, knowing there are so many guides helping you to finally feel satisfied this is no longer needed. Then you’ll no longer have these illnesses in any of your other realities. You won’t be pulled to create this again.

Your fear is coming from your unconscious memories of how you felt in many of your lives when others were suffering, and seeing the hardships these people went through. It’s the memory inside you that’s creating fear. And this fear gets larger and larger until you can make the correction and know your greatest power in this reality is choice. And your greatest power is with your mind to focus. And your greatest power is the feeling of love. Turn this love towards yourself and you’ll notice a change in your life.

There were many lifetimes where you were in the healing profession in one way or another and saw so much illness happening to people around you. You were always around sickness and death and trying to help these people. But when you go through this the memories and the energy of illness stay with you.

Because there’s so much of this illness, and your great desire to heal, after a while in many of your lives this illness is all you see. And that stays with you and you bring it forward in future lives. Your subconscious remembers sickness, dying, pain, being abandoned, and having no one to rely on. It stays with you. And these thoughts create emotions like fear. And we’re saying it’s no longer necessary to have these thoughts and create this fear.

The continuous exposure to people who need healing produced a fear that came through many, many lifetimes. And so this fear is something you strongly desired to have in your current life so you could get some understanding of where it came from.

But you need to know that whatever the problem is, and in spirit you know what it is, you’ll take love and heal it – the love you have for yourself and the love you get from others. You need to surround yourself with joy and love and then your spirit will know it’s on the right path. And you will take this love and heal your illnesses and they will no longer be necessary.

Sit by a lake or under a tree. Water, elements of earth, and trees have healing qualities. Any meditation you can do that makes you feel good is recommended. And know that all of this is creating the love and the healing that’s needed.

You are all so much more than you think you are. You’re all on this wonderful path of growth, of understanding, and of realizing there are many lives that you’ve experienced, and many more that you’ll create when you’re ready. Focus on being the creator. Focus on bringing joy and laughter into your life and everything will come to you. Everything will be shown. When you’re feeling happy you’ll see the connections that are being made. There will be more understanding. Stay in the feeling of joy.

What’s Going On with My Troublesome Brother?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Peace5, who wants to know about their brother. Peace5 says, He’s almost 23 years old and has been very troublesome lately. I don’t know what’s gotten into him. Even though he has an incurable disease, he stopped taking his medicine, he stopped taking care of himself, and he’s very nasty with me and our whole family, even my 6-year-old son.

The Council suggests trying to find compassion for your brother. Imagine how you’d feel knowing you have an incurable disease. Some people can find a way to work with an incurable disease and have positive thoughts. Others, like your brother, become depressed. Being nasty and stopping his medication is a sign he can’t find hope. He can’t love himself. He’s going through this depression because he’s closed himself off to loving himself and accepting love from others.

We hope your family will be able to find some sort of therapy for your brother that will help with his depression. Once he’s able to have a few positive thoughts, once he’s able to change his lower vibration, hope will come to him and he can have thoughts of helping himself. He can’t cure himself when he’s in the vibration he’s in now. That vibration must be changed.

If it’s at all possible we recommend doing the chakra breathing meditation we recommend in another post. You can do this with him and so can the rest of your family. This meditation will help align his chakras so he can feel better.

Get your brother the first Emmanuel book, by Pat Rodegast and leave it in his room where he can find it, but don’t tell him to read it. Once he’s able to connect with this book and begins to read about depression, illness, dying, and changing his life, it’ll start to put him on the right path.

Peace5 says, My brother takes medical marijuana for his disease, but I believe it’s harming him more than helping him. He’s not interested in anything at all, including looking for a job. All he does is lay around all day long, sleep, and shower four times a day even though he doesn’t go anywhere. He fights with us, curses at us for no apparent reason, and doesn’t speak with us. What’s going on with him and do you think he’ll ever change for the better?

Again The Council asks if you can find it in your heart to feel some compassion for your brother? Try to understand he’s in a difficult place. Can you accept where he is now? Offer him love. Speak with him. Talk with him like he’s a regular person. Don’t tiptoe around him or not say things in front of him. Get excited and share your life with him. Tell him stories. This will be the beginning of your brother feeling cared for.

Don’t force your attention on him, but when you’re around him try to be joyful. If you can be in a joyful vibration it increases the likelihood of your brother becoming joyful. It’s important you’re whole family is very accepting of you’re brother’s situation and condition and forget he has this incurable disease. Forget he’s laying around. Forget he’s doing nothing. Just be nice to your brother and accept who he is.

The Council asks Peace5 to remember you can’t make your brother better. You can be in the right vibration around him. You can speak to him joyfully. Have your brother feel that no matter how he behaves, he’s accepted. Show him by your conversation that you care about him.

At first he probably won’t accept your positive intentions, but we ask you to continue with them anyway. When your brother sees no one is fighting with him, that you accept him, that you allow him to lay around if he wants to, that you don’t preach to him about doing nothing, he’ll eventually get tired of doing these things and begin to raise his vibration and begin to try and find a better way. In doing this and sending him love and light with your thoughts to help him through his difficulties, things will change.

There are many reasons why your brother may have chosen the life he’s currently living. He wants to understand his situation. In the spirit world, where we’ve either experienced a similar life situation in another incarnation, or we’ve seen others go through what we’re going through, we wonder if we can also do that. Can I bring love into that situation? Can I turn that situation around? Do I want to teach things to other people about how to handle this situation and how we all need to reach for love and show love in that situation?

That’s why we choose situations like the one your brother is in. There are many reasons, but the many reasons are unimportant. The main reason is: Am I bringing love into this situation? Am I bringing love and support and positive thoughts to the person who’s going through this difficulty? That’s what’s needed. In spirit we’re all confident we’ll be able to do this. In reality it’s much more difficult. The reason why we came here is to have fun. We came here to face every situation with love. And when you bring love into any situation, it must change.

Bob closes by asking if there’s a possibility of curing this incurable disease. The Council says there’s always this possibility and this, of course, is up to your brother.

My Life Seems Like A Never-Ending Bad Trip

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Pedro, who says he’s twenty-one years old and passing through a strange time in his life. He says, Sometimes I feel a strong loneliness, but I don’t feel comfortable with anyone else. I don’t want anyone to touch me, but I’m touch-starved. I get irritated very easily and I also feel tired of living.

The Council says what you’re explaining here – the loneliness, being starved for touch, and the irritability – is because you’re not connected to who you really are, and that’s the first thing you really want when you come into this physical realm. We want to connect with who we really are so whatever challenges we manifest in this lifetime, we can learn to handle it differently.

It’s important for you to read the Emmanuel books by Pat Rodegast. There are three of them. That will begin to connect you. And learn to meditate. If that’s not possible for you we suggest you do the chakra breathing. As you change the energy within and around you, your feelings will change. The vibration within you will change and you’ll start to feel better.

Because you’re starved for touch, but don’t want to be touched, it’s not because you want the physical touch of someone. You wish the touch of energy. Sometimes when you’re sitting in a chair, imagine there’s this beautiful white energy that’s entering the top of your head. Picture it going through your head, down into your neck, down into your arms, your chest, and your stomach, down your legs into your feet. Imagine seeing and feeling this energy. Picture it around you, as if you were in a cocoon. Feel this as you do it. It’s the feeling of this white energy that’ll help you feel connected to who you really are as a spiritual being.

This is what you need at this moment: to connect with the feeling of who you are, to read the Emmanuel books, and to read the books by Jerry and Esther Hicks on manifesting so your mind has something to do. Start slowly. Create little things at first. When you see you can do this, the feeling of loneliness will definitely go away because you’ll have connected to who you really are.

Pedro says, I feel far away from home even when I’m in my house. The Council says it’s the realm of spirit that you miss. Pedro says, I’m always looking at the past with a sense of longing to get there, but I know it’s impossible. The Council says it’s going forward that you need to focus on. The way you want to go forward and manifest the future you wish for is by thinking of how you wish your future to be.

Pedro says, As if that isn’t enough, I’m feeling a heavy mixture of emotion that’s tearing me up and bringing on an identity crisis. The worst thing is that I don’t have any planning or expectations for the future. The Council says we’ve given you some plans and some direction now. When you do the meditation or the chakra breathing and read the Emmanuel books and books on manifesting by Jerry and Esther Hicks, you’ll begin to get ideas. They’ll come when you do the inner work.

Pedro says, I don’t have any friends, I don’t like my family, and I don’t know what to do. My whole life seems like a bad trip that never ends. The Council says when you find you don’t like your family or others and you don’t want friends, it’s because you haven’t gotten the understanding from your spiritual self that these people are all here with what you’d call their baggage, their challenges, and their situations. Look at these people differently and try to think of them as spirits in physical bodies. They’re here with their wishes for this lifetime. See if you can get an idea of what’s going on for these people.

What Can My Father Do to Improve His Kidney Condition?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Love&Health, whose father has been recently diagnosed with a kidney condition and he was also born with one kidney. We can’t do anything about this condition from a medical perspective. What can my father do to improve his health? Please let me know if there are any natural remedies, medicines, yoga, or meditation that can help his condition.

The Council says they’re trying to make it clear that everyone on Earth is a spirit and a vibration. Whether you lift your vibration or get depressed and your vibration goes down, you are still a vibration and a powerful creator.

Rather than looking for natural remedies and medicines, which always seem to have side effects, we’d like you to know that to cure or change the condition of anything it has to begin with the vibration of healing. It has to begin on an energy level first. This is the direction your world is going toward. This is what everyone here has agreed to. Everyone wants to learn more about who they are. They want to learn how they are in charge of their life and they are powerful and can create anything.

On a physical level lemon water is always good to purify the kidneys. But rather than going toward chemical healing, go into your chakras, which must all be working correctly, in order for your body to accept the healing energy that’s needed to change what’s been created in the body.

Someone can have many things wrong with them, but if their vibration is constantly lifting and your thoughts are constantly positive and you’re constantly thinking of being well, no matter what shows up on a diagnosis, you may have a wonderful and long life.

Begin with aligning the chakras, making sure the energy comes into these places. On a physical level massage is always good. It helps relax the body, which will affect each of your organs. But it’s most important to go into a meditative state or just sitting in a chair and thinking how you are well. In reality, you are well. If you look at yourself and understand you are a spirit being, you’ll know you are well. There’s absolutely nothing wrong.

No matter what’s created in this lifetime – having one kidney, a disease, a broken bone, whatever is going on – you are well. So it’s important to see yourself as well. Let go of your difficulties. Don’t hold onto how this hurts or that hurts or this is wrong and that’s wrong. Go into the vibration of being positive and believing in yourself. On a subconscious level you know how to make yourself feel well and that’s what’s needed at this time.

The real help will come from the belief you are well. And a belief is just something you think about over and over again. Believe you’re well and everything in your body is working correctly. No matter what the diagnosis is, you are fine, and you’ll begin to feel fine. Then you’ll see you are the creator and you’ll create more. This is the catalyst that will set you off into the correct path of working on a higher level.

What’s Going On With My Husband’s Health?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Kristi, whose husband has joint pain, arthritis, swelling of his hands and feet, and fatigue. His doctor thinks he’s likely to have lupus. The Council says your husband’s diet needs to be changed because he’s suffering from inflammation. He needs to eat very bland food for the time being and no sugar. If you do this you’ll see an improvement in his symptoms. Drinking tart cherry juice will reduce inflammation. The Council adds they don’t see that lupus is a factor.

Kristi asks for insight into what’s going on with her husband physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She understands physical ailments have an emotional and spiritual component. The Council says both of you set up in spirit to have the time to discover alternative ways to help yourselves. Spiritually you’re both on a path of self-healing. To do this you need to meditate a lot. See each other as being well. Concentrate on this wellness with the power of your mind.

Any kind of daily meditation that feels good will work. Sit in a chair and cover yourself with white light, or do the chakra breathing, or sit in a chair with your eyes closed and tell yourself you’re relaxed and think of beautiful scenic pictures in your mind. Some people chant, others pray. Experiment and you’ll find what feels the best for you.

When you see his physical symptoms improving you’ll come to the part of your path you wanted to be on where you concentrate more on the spiritual side. You wanted to experience that it’s possible to heal with your beliefs and with your mind. You wanted to experience this so when you feel well you can share this with other people who go through physical symptoms.

Kristi asks if the symptoms her husband is experiencing were planned in spirit and The Council says of course they were.

You chose a path of learning how powerful you are as spirits, and of teaching to help others. Your husband’s lesson is to find the reason he’s experiencing these symptoms and then to turn these symptoms around and heal them.

What About My Relationship with an Annoying Friend?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Amy, who has a friend she finds draining and borderline toxic. This friend doesn’t seem to be aware of my time or feelings. She’s upset when I don’t visit her every time she calls. She talks about herself nonstop. And she doesn’t respond when I mention something about myself.

The Council imagines Amy feels like this is a question about making boundaries, but it’s not just boundaries. It’s about you experiencing a past life with this person where they were a very strict parent that punished you a lot. You were brought up almost like a slave to do whatever your parents wanted.

In your current lifetime you wanted to experience this very annoying behavior so you could learn to speak up and work through it. Have you told this person how their behavior affects you? How you don’t have the time to always be there for them? Have you said no when this person asked for your help? When it becomes too much, when you’re drained and your energy field gets pulled out of you by this other person, there’s really nothing you can do to stop it. But you can make yourself unavailable. And besides that, you must speak up. This is what you wanted for your current life.

You don’t need to help this person with everything that comes up. If you’re embarrassed or annoyed you have to stop what this person is doing when they’re doing it. You need to bring this behavior to their attention. If they laugh it off or complain, you can say this is how I feel. This is annoying. I have other things to do and I’d appreciate it if you stopped. Remember you’re not in control of how the other person handles your request, but you can still withdraw from them when this stuff is going on.

We recommend using the chakra breathing meditation to balance and align your chakras, particularly your throat chakra. This will help you get over the fear of saying what you want because in this previous life you weren’t able to do that. In your current life you can do this because you’ve created you’re life differently this time.

This person is being the way they are because they’ve agreed to help you learn how to speak up. In their human reality this person might not remember this, but their higher self knows they’re going to drive you crazy until you speak up. And when you let this person know how annoying they are, you can teach them to be gentler and more understanding because this is what you agreed to.

Amy says she finds this person so selfish and exhausting. I don’t mind being this type of friend to people, but this particular person is under my skin like no one else. The Council says your higher self knows what you want to do. You’ll get more and more annoyed, crazy, and frustrated, then hope this will just go away, but that isn’t how you set this up.

Amy says she’s trying to draw boundaries, which has been difficult for her in the past, but this doesn’t seem to last. I don’t want to yell or hurt this person’s feelings. The Council says you don’t have to yell or hurt their feelings, but you do need to speak the truth. This is annoying. This is draining. You hurt my feelings when you criticize me in front of other people. You are speaking the truth and that’s a wonderful thing. Are you brave enough to do this?

Amy says as she continues to raise her vibration this person might just vibrate out of her life altogether. The Council says she’s not going to vibrate out of your life until you learn your lesson and speak up for yourself. Your lesson is in front of you big time, and you can change this by speaking up.

Listen to what we’ve said about setting boundaries and more importantly, about speaking up for yourself. Then this person might just disappear out of your life because she’ll have to find someone else that will put up with her behavior until she learns (and maybe from you) that it’s not polite to behave this way to people.

Look how all these people are banging their heads against the wall because they’re not getting what they came here to learn. Life happens and you concentrate on things in a different way than when you planned it in spirit. You’re not seeing what’s truly going on. Just remember we’re here to bring love into each experience by showing kindness and empathy to people and try to understand what they’re going through, even if they annoy the heck out of you. When you understand these people are also spirit that has baggage and hard lessons, you also understand you agreed to help these people. And these people are here because they’re helping you, even if you don’t get it yet. It’ll all turn out good in the end. All is well.

Why Aren’t My Guides and Deceased Mother with Me?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Mazy, who says for quite some time I haven’t felt my spirit guides or the spirit of my deceased mother around me. In the past I experienced detailed lucid dreams with important symbolism. I also experienced astral projection and astral travel where I briefly met a few of my spirit guides as well as the spirit of my deceased mother. The dreams and astral travel decreased in frequency and now I haven’t experienced either one in about a year.

The Council begins by telling Mazy she’s chosen in spirit to have this experience. How do you feel about having these wonderful experiences and then not having them? Do you feel disconnected? Do you feel abandoned? Do you think there’s something wrong? Somehow you’ve closed yourself off from having these experiences to learn how to be courageous. You wanted to go on with the belief your guides and your deceased mother are with you, that you are capable, and you are connected.

When you realize they’re still with you and you can relax into this thought, the energy will flow again. You can use the chakra breathing meditation we recommend in another post and work on your third eye and your crown chakra. When you do this you can re-experience the astral projection.

The Council adds that Mazy is still doing the astral projection, but you don’t remember it because this is a challenge you created for yourself. You wanted to find out how powerful you are and how you can change this situation even though you may temporarily believe you’ve lost this ability.

Mazy says she found herself having doubts and wondering why my spirit guides and the spirit of my deceased mother are no longer with me. The Council says they are still with you. The doubts are just created so you can learn from this experience.

Will Meditation Help Reduce the Risk of Heart Attack?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, LovePeace, who asks about her husband’s health. He has high triglycerides and given the history of heart attacks in his family, I’m worried about him. Other than medicines and the diet the doctor is suggesting, can The Council let me know if he can do any meditation to help him with his condition.

The Council says your husband will benefit from the chakra breathing meditation they’ve recommended in the past. When he gets to the heart chakra, visualize the green energy in his heart center going up to his shoulders, down his arms, and into his hands and fingers. This will bring energy to his heart, it will keep it calm, and it will open pathways. Taking the vitamin supplement, Lecithin, will help him clear a lot of blockages in his arteries.

LovePeace says since physical pains are associated with spiritual aspects, what is the spiritual reason my husband has developed this physical problem and what are the issues his higher self is trying to address with this disease?

The Council says spiritual advancement doesn’t need to be associated with pain and suffering. Pain and suffering is just something you choose to learn from, to help another person through, or for you to change your perspective on it. You can have a life of wonderful health, joy, abundance, and still grow.

How Can I Allow More Well-Being into My Life After Cancer and Weight Gain?

This post answers a question for The Council from a woman named, Susan, in response to our post, Healing Ovarian Cancer. She says I was diagnosed with somethig similar to ovarian cancer two years ago. I haven’t been given chemotherapy, but instead I’m taking new drugs with mild side effects.

The Council says because you are the creator of your life according to what you believe (whether your afraid of chemotherapy or you knew there could be an easier drug to take), you have created this easier way. It’s your belief.

Susan says she was filled with fear at first, but I’ve learned about the Law of Attraction from Abraham’s teachings and because of these teachings I actually live a joyful life.

Recently I was feeling unhappy about gaining weight, which I thought was caused by hormone tablets I take. Now I know this has just been my belief. The Council says what you’ve created is, coming through your cancer and now you put the challenge of gaining weight on top of the cancer. Instead of loosing hope and being depressed, how does it feel to have this weight gain? What are you learning from it?

Your weight gain doesn’t have to remain this way. Repeatedly ask yourself in quiet time or meditation, why did I create this weight gain? Why do I want to go through this and what can I learn from it? Once you see what you’re learning from the weight gain and you’ve learned enough, your weight won’t be a problem anymore.

Susan says she thinks she’s doing all she knows to allow her well-being and she asks The Council if they have any additional advice. The Council suggests Susan surround herself in love everyday. Visualizing yourself in a pink bubble does wonders for how you feel and works on all levels of healing. Pay attention to your chakras and do the chakra breathing we recomment in another post.

The Council says there aren’t any particular past life considerations for Susan’s cancer and her weight gain. It was your wish in spirit to be focused on these challenges. What you wanted was to have an experience you could learn from.

You’ll be very surprised how quickly your dis-ease all changes when you pay attention to what you’ve learned through cancer, weight gain, your belief systems, and the people around you.

Please Guide Me in Healing My Shortness of Breath

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Peace Peace-Peace, who’s recently started having shortness of breath that seems related to lung issues. Can The Council please guide me with any particular meditation or medicines that can be helpful?

First The Council recommends doing the heart chakra meditation they mention in another one of our blogs (links at the end of this post). They see your sixth and third chakra also need more energy and they suggest you do the other six chakra exercises to bring more energy into your body to help you with healing.

The Council says you had a past life as a young man in Russia where it was very cold and you died of pneumonia. You brought the lung problem with you in your current lifetime to learn how to heal this problem.

Follow up with doctors and get the tests they recommend.

Work on letting go of your lung problem by remembering you died from pneumonia in a past life. Picture in your mind how you think your situation was in that life and let go of this. Realize that your experience with pneumonia was so strong in that previous life that in your current life it’s contributing to your lung problems.

To ease the difficulties in your lungs The Council suggests you rub eucalyptus oil on your chest and put this oil in a diffuser to breathe it in. They also suggest taking nettle pills or drinking nettle tea will help you breathe better.

The Council recommends dealing with any issues you find in your life where you feel people aren’t willing to recognize who you are, stifling your growth, or knock down your plans and dreams by the way they think about you, which would be suffocating and would affect your lungs.

Do deep breathing every day. Breathe in to the count of eight, hold your breath to the count of six, and then release your breath on a count of seven. This will help expand your lungs and we feel it will help you.

Read as much as you can about past lives so you can understand how they can affect your current reality and why you would bring in a situation in order to heal it. Robert Schwartz‘s books (Your Soul’s Plan and Your Soul’s Gift) are a good place to start because he gives you the story of what a person is going through, why they’re going through this, and what the lesson is.

How Can I Help My Mom and Dad Heal Their Health Issues?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, LookingForGuidance, who says their Mom and Dad live far from them and recently learned they have health issues and want to know how they can help them get better.

The Council says these physical pains are a way to get your parents in touch with more healing that is energy oriented. Yoga is a wonderful idea and chakra breathing is necessary for both parents, especially the areas of the chest and solar plexus. They are both a little stagnant in the heart area. When the energy moves more in this area it will have a beneficial affect the shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers. Any sort of application of heat will be a benefit to your parents. Whether it’s swimming in a hot pool or lightly applied heat packs or a heating pad on the shoulders, back, and chest.

Any reading on energy healing and classes on Yoga, Chi Gong, Tai Chi, Reiki, Reconnection, Polarity, and anything else that works with energy is needed at this time and will be useful.

The Council says these physical health issues have been created by them to lead them on a more spiritual path and learning about energy. This is how people learned how to heal many years ago. There’s a desire to go on this natural way and that’s why these issues have manifested.

How Can I Get Rid of This Hip Pain?

This post answers a question for The Council from a reader named, Pam, who says for some months now I’ve been dealing with hip pain that no amount of acupuncture, massage, or chiropractic treatment has been able to fix other than temporarily. I feel like this stuck energy has something to do with my mother who is now in spirit. Do you have any insight on how I can move this old energy out of my body and into the light?

The Council begins by saying Pam’s hip pain has nothing to do with her mother, but an understanding of why she’s having this pain will help her heal it.

In another lifetime as a young boy in the middle 1800s in London you were born with one leg shorter than the other, which gave you a limp and constant hip pain. You were a very advanced thinker for that time, you had a lot of faith and hope, and you believed somehow in your mind you could speak to your body and heal your pain because you had done healing in other lifetimes. Unfortunately you died around the age of 15 and didn’t have a chance to heal yourself.

Coming into your current lifetime you said let me continue this again and find out how the mind works with the body and what I can do to implement that healing. The pain in your hip that nothing else is helping is from that other lifetime. Ask for information in your dreams or meditations on this other lifetime.

The Council suggests taking the Edgar Cayce castor oil pack and wrapping it completely around both hips. Do it every day for 20-30 minutes for a week then take a week off. While you’re doing this you should be speaking to the cells in your body and letting them know your body is able to heal and to release this memory from this other life.

Do this for a month then stop doing it for around three weeks, but during this rest period stretch your hamstring muscles in your legs. When the three week rest period is finished go back to the castor oil packs and repeat this process until you see a great deal of improvement. Once you begin to see this improvement your mind will take over and heal your body.

The Council also recommends doing chakra breathing for all seven chakras. Pam can refer to our post, Meditations to Balance and Align Your Chakras, for instructions on chakra breathing. The meditation in that post and its symbols isn’t meant to be used daily, but you can use use the colors in the chakras whenever you feel like it.

Pam wanted to bring this hip pain back into her current lifetime so she could release the past and heal it with the castor oil packs and speaking to her body with her mind. Your body knows how to heal. Allow your inner physician to take over.

Is Fear of Illness Connected to Another Lifetime?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, LilyDaisy, who previously asked about her physical and mental health problems. LilyDaisy says she hasn’t been to the doctor in about 12 years because of a fear of doctor visits I’ve had since I was young. I’m also terrified of getting pregnant and delivering a child and I’ve decided not to have children for this reason. I also have strong tendencies toward anxiety-riddled hypochondriac behavior. I worry about dying from an illness I could have prevented.

The Council says they see a lifetime in India where LilyDaisy was a young child who lost her complete family to disease and plagues. Everything you fear now you saw happening around you in that lifetime. People died with no medicine and there was no way for doctors to help. Babies and women in childbirth died. You took all of this suffering and death in and the fear has stayed with you in your current life. It’s coming to a head at this time so you can finally release it.

The Council says meditation is the best way to release this fear. Every day there needs to be a connection to your body. Notice how your hands open, close, and function properly. Notice how your arms are without pain. Slowly go through each part of your body and know that it’s functioning. As you do this, connect with the idea that everything is okay right now and know your fear comes from another lifetime. You’ve brought the fear into this life so you could learn to experience health. As you do this the fear can slowly diminish.

LilyDaisy (Bob mistakenly calls her Brock on the recording) says I’m a bit scared to ask The Council about my symptoms because I may get a scary diagnosis. The Council says they have no scary diagnosis for LilyDaisy.

The Council suggests everyday LilyDaisy sit quietly and go through every part of her body that’s functioning. There’s no deadly diagnosis for you. When you focus everyday on what’s working, what feels good, and that you’re healthy, you’ll bring more of this into your life and little by little you’ll become less anxious about your health. The fear is only here now so you can release it. There’s nothing to be afraid of in your current life.

The Council recommends doing the color breathing associated with the chakra meditation they gave to us.

Everything is currently peaceful in your body. It’s up to you to create this peacefulness with your mind. Your body will follow your thoughts. Understand these fears are based on experiences from another lifetime and they’re here not to make you afraid, but for you to understand and let these fears go.

Married but Attracted to Another Man

This post answers questions for The Council from an anonymous reader who says her mother died recently, we’re moving Dad, I’m getting frequent headaches, feeling family stresses, seeing cracks in my marriage, and feeling isolated. I have deep feelings for a man who isn’t mine. I have a good partnership with my husband, but we’re different people and there are limits to the connection. I love my family, but feel burdened.

The Council asks when you’re in a marriage you say is good, but you’re attracted to another person, if this new person in your life wasn’t there would you still think there are cracks in your marriage?

The attraction you have towards this other person doesn’t have the intention behind it to work out romantically in your current lifetime. If you can understand this man has come into your life to be a friend and you know him from another lifetime, can you appreciate and live with this and still have your private life?

If you’re so attracted to this man that you’re unable to function around him and it’s making cracks in your marriage, take a look at this. This has to do with you and not this other man, not your husband, and not the death of your mother. This has happened so you can ask yourself what you want.

The Council says in another reality very similar to your current lifetime, you and this man are together romantically. Many people don’t understand that other parts of your spirit are living in other realities and your romantic relationship with this man can be working out in one of those realities. Does this make you feel good? Is it enough for you to know that you’re experiencing this romantic relationship in another reality?

But you’re here in the present to focus on the present. What do you want in your here and now? You find yourself attracted to this man and The Council says everything is possible, but you didn’t pre-plan in spirit to get together romantically with this man in your current lifetime. You pre-planned to learn about other realities, to learn how you create, to learn there are many different parts of you living at once in different realities, and to learn how you can have something in one reality but not in another.

As you become more practiced in meditation you begin to know that you already have everything you want. It’s already happening. In your current reality you’re here to learn a certain lesson, in another reality it’s another lesson, and in a third reality it’s yet another lesson. These lessons can be with different versions of all the same people. But isn’t it fun to know you can have what you want? You have what you desire in a vibrational reality as soon as you start to imagine it. If it’s not enough, then take all your focus, every day, and focus on creating it by feeling the way you want your life to be. Eventually it must come to you, but be sure it’s what you want.

Even though your day to day living may be difficult right now you need to experience it. Your headaches are because you’re jumping from reality to reality and you’re not grounding enough. The Council recommends listening to the Chakra Meditations post. You need to surround yourself in white light so that you become clear about what you want and how you want to experience it.

Why Do I Feel So Disconnected From Spirit?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Kristi, who says  she’s searched and questioned her connection to spirit for years and is constantly looking for answers about her spirituality.

The Council says you’re always connected to spirit because you are spirit. Kristi needs to do the chakra alignment meditations and she needs to meditate every day going into her heart. That’s where spirit is easiest to find. Create a light in your heart, sit there with it, and you’ll feel a better connection to spirit.

Kristi says she feels she’s coming up short in her answers from spirit. I’ve been to psychics, had past life regression hypnotherapy, and taken mediumship classes, but I feel more disconnected than ever. I feel like all my attempts are futile, which is discouraging.

The Council says they see the path Kristi is on and she’s looking outside herself for her connection to spirit. You have to go within to feel this connection. Take at least 15 minutes a day to meditate on her heart, picturing beautiful green energy all around it. And within this green energy picture a white light the size of a pinhead and focus on this white light expanding until it reaches beyond your body and it’s all around you. When you do this every day you’ll start to feel more calm and you’ll begin to feel your connection to spirit.

Reaching Self-Realization Through a Third Eye Chakra Meditation

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader who goes by the name, Seeking Truth, who says during meditation they see their Third Eye opening and the colors Blue, Indigo, and sometimes Yellow. A meditation center that Seeking Truth visits told them it looks like they’re trying to connect with the divine through their Third Eye rather than through the Crown (7th Chakra) and it will be difficult for them to reach self-realization.

The Council says it doesn’t matter which chakra you use during meditation in order to connect with the divine. Many people connect with their higher self, God, or powerful force through the Heart Chakra. The Council feels that as Seeking Truth continues to meditate they will connect with the divine and it becomes more difficult when you place limits on yourself that you have to connect through a specific chakra. You are always connected to the divine. And it’s not commonly known that inside each chakra you can find an additional 7 chakras (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Purple).

You can connect to the divine through prayer, you can connect in your dreams, you can connect by staring at trees and appreciating their beauty, you can connect by staring at the sky or the stars, you can connect by watching animals, or appreciating babies. When you see these and other things and realize that you and it is part of the divine, you are connected to that divinity no matter what way you use to get there.

In addition to the ways The Council already mentioned to connect with the divine they also recommend prayer, and the meditations we’ve posted here for balancing and aligning your chakras. A good way to work on your Crown chakra is to close your eyes, look up to the top of your head, begin to pray for a divine connection, and imagine a beautiful White or Gold light coming into your head from above.

Seeking Truth finishes with a question about better paying job offers they’ve been receiving, but they’re reluctant to accept them because they have a young child and their current job offers them a lot of freedom to be with the child. The Council advises Seeking Truth to stay with their current job for now because the freedom to be with the child that this job offers is needed right now. The Council adds that Seeking Truth will only be paid less for a limited time and it’s good to spend as much time as possible with their child.

Meditation to Balance and Align Your Chakras

This post is a follow-up to our previous post which answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Jaden. In the session we did with The Council to answer Jaden’s questions, The Council recommended we provide Jaden with some of their techniques for balancing and aligning his Throat Chakra, Third Eye Chakra, and Crown Chakra, which are traditionally the top three energy centers within our physical body. In this post we provide techniques for the balancing and alignment of each of the seven chakras, or energy centers, which are located in the body between the groin and the top of the head. Following the text below we’ve included an audio recording of these techniques for readers who desire this. Please let us know if you enjoy working with these techniques.

First Chakra

To balance and align your first chakra, which is located at the base of your spine or groin area, imagine a clear box in front of you. Now imagine filling this clear box with the color red. When you’re ready, with a single breath, breathe the red color out of this box and in through your nose, then down to the base of your spine, up to the top of your head, out through your mouth, back into the box, and then breathe normally. Imagine the red color leaving the box so the box is clear again, and then imagine the clear box disappearing. Your first chakra should now be aligned and balanced.

Second Chakra

To balance and align your second chakra, which is located two inches below your navel along your spine, imagine a clear pyramid, but without its top or cap stone. Now imagine filling this clear pyramid with the color orange. When you’re ready, with a single breath, breathe the orange color out of this pyramid and in through your nose, then down to the base of your spine, up to the top of your head, out through your mouth, back into the pyramid, and then breathe normally. Imagine the orange color leaving the pyramid so the pyramid is clear again, and then watch the clear pyramid disappear. Your second chakra should now be aligned and balanced.

Third Chakra

To balance and align your third chakra, which is located just beneath your breast bone along your spine, imagine a 3D image of a clear plus sign in front of you. Now imagine filling this clear plus sign with the color yellow. When you’re ready, with a single breath, breathe the yellow color out of this plus sign and in through your nose, then down to the base of your spine, up to the top of your head, out through your mouth, back into the plus sign, and then breathe normally. Imagine the yellow color leaving the plus sign so the plus sign is clear again, and then imagine the clear plus sign disappearing. Your third chakra should now be aligned and balanced.

Fourth Chakra

To balance and align your fourth chakra, which is located at the level of your heart along your spine, imagine a clear circle in front of you. Now imagine filling this clear circle with the color green. When you’re ready, with a single breath, breathe the green color out of this circle and in through your nose, then down to the base of your spine, up to the top of your head, out through your mouth, back into the circle, and then breathe normally. Imagine the green color leaving the circle so that the circle is clear again, and then imagine the clear circle disappearing. Your fourth chakra should now be aligned and balanced.

Fifth Chakra

To balance and align your fifth chakra, which is located in the middle of the throat, imagine in front of you a clear chalice or wine glass with a long stem and a cross located in the stem. Now imagine filling this clear chalice with the color sky blue. When you’re ready, with a single breath, breathe the sky blue color out of this chalice and in through your nose, then down to the base of your spine, up to the top of your head, out through your mouth, back into the chalice, and then breathe normally. Imagine the sky blue color leaving the chalice so the chalice is clear again, and then imagine the clear chalice disappearing. Your fifth chakra should now be aligned and balanced.

Sixth Chakra

To balance and align your sixth chakra, which is located between your eyes and slightly above your eyebrows, imagine a clear Star of David in front of you. Now imagine filling this Star of David with the color Indigo or dark blue. When you’re ready, with a single breath, breathe the indigo color out of this Star and in through your nose, then down to the base of your spine, up to the top of your head, out through your mouth, back into the Star, and then breathe normally. Imagine the indigo color leaving the Star of David so that the Star is clear again, and then imagine the clear Star of David disappearing. Your sixth chakra should now be aligned and balanced.

Seventh Chakra

To balance and align your seventh chakra, which is located at the top of the head, imagine a clear lotus flower in front of you. Now imagine filling this lotus flower with the color purple. When you’re ready, with a single breath, breathe the purple color out of this lotus flower and in through your nose, then down to the base of your spine, up to the top of your head, out through your mouth, back into the lotus flower, and then breathe normally. Imagine the purple color leaving the lotus flower so that it’s clear again, and then imagine the clear lotus flower disappearing. Your seventh chakra should now be aligned and balanced.

Closing

Use these techniques whenever you feel sick, tired, drained, or your energy doesn’t feel right. You should not use these techniques daily. As you learn more about each chakra and you feel that one or more of them isn’t properly aligned, you can use the techniques just for the chakra that needs realignment.

Question About Past Lives, Mental Issues, and a Future Life

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Jaden, who asks for insight into his past lives, how they’re affecting his current life, and why he chose his current life?

The Council says Jaden agreed to live his current life for the fun of it, to take different lessons and change them for the better, to help the people around him, and to find a way to bring the love from spirit into his current life. Your current life isn’t about past lives. It’s about working with souls you know from other lifetimes to see where you are in relationship to them and to be aware of what you want that they’ve accomplished. They’d be like a teacher to you and open your eyes to things you can create in your life. There are others that will come into your life and you’ll see things you don’t want, and then it’s your choice to pull away from that.

You planned to meet people that would show you a better way to live your life. You wanted to choose spirits, learn where they’re at, and then claim what you wanted for yourself. This whole lifetime you’ll hopefully be meeting people, looking at how they are, what they’ve accomplished, where they are spiritually, determining if their thoughts are positive or negative, and taking what is positive from each person and add it to your life.

In your current life you have a free pass to choose your direction as you move forward. This is a ‘choose as you go’ life. There wasn’t some specific lesson you wanted to learn, change, or heal from a past life. You wanted to move forward and work with spirits that show up. Will you help them? Will they help you? Will they give you ideas about what you want and don’t want?

Jaden asks for suggestions about mental issues he’s going through. The Council says unclear thinking and trust are some mental issues you’re going through. There are emotions that set you off and can bring up a manic or a depressing response. This is from thoughts of lack or abundance you see around you. Find daily things to have gratitude for, even when things don’t go your way, and your mental issues will calm down and you’ll feel better.

The Council says your throat, third eye, and crown chakra need work and they ask Bob to provide their meditation techniques for healing them, which is done in the next post. Healing your throat will help you express yourself better and find creative things that make you happy. Healing your third eye will bring you clarity and help you see and hear things differently. Healing your crown chakra will open you to the energy of your higher self, of your guides, and get you more in touch with your purpose in this lifetime.

Jaden asks The Council for insight into his next life and The Council says that is entirely up to you. At the end of your current life you’ll decide what you want to build into your next life, the spirits you want with you, and the lessons you want to go through. The Council says it’s perfectly proper to think about what you’d like your next lifetime to be like. Nothing is written in stone. You create as you go.

The Council suggests Jaden be in the present, learn from the people around him, and he’ll begin to see things differently. If you stay on the path you’re on, things in your life will begin to change. And you’ll also change the future lives you create for yourself.

Jaden asks The Council where his next life will be because there’s a particular country he has in mind. The Council says at the end of this life when you go back to spirit and you’re ready to create another life, who you are in your current life goes with you back into spirit. All the knowledge, wisdom, and experiences are there and from this knowledge you choose when to go on, how to go on, where to go on, and who to go on with.

How Can I Communicate with My Spirit Guides Without Having Spiritual Readings?

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Marie, who says she’d like more clarity when she communicates with her guides. For years she’s received information through spiritual readings and now she’s interested in additional ways she can communicate with spirit.

The Council begins by informing Marie she already receives information from her higher self in her dreams, whether she’s conscious of this or not. And they add that in past lives she’s done something called automatic writing and it will be good for her to continue it in this lifetime.

Sit quietly with a pencil and paper and meditate. Let your hand begin to move. At first you may get nothing that makes any sense – a word here or there. Write it down and don’t question it. Eventually you’ll get a few words and then a sentence. As you meditate and let this energy in, you’ll be able to communicate with spirit in this manner. Later when the communication is coming through stronger you can switch to working with a computer if you find this more satisfying.

Marie asks if there’s any difference between communicating with her higher self and communicating with other spirit guides. The Council replies that the higher self is who Marie truly is, and this higher self is connected to everything, but there are many other spiritual guides that she’s also able to connect with. Your higher self knows whatever information you desire and it’s you’re goal in this lifetime to bring this information into your reality.

The easiest way to connect with your higher self is to sit quietly and see what comes through. The Council doesn’t believe Marie will be able at first to stop her mind from distracting chatter, but it will slow down and information will come through a little at a time.  Gradually this information will develop more powerfully. When you wish to reach out to other guides that are around to help you with needed information, you can send your energy out to the universe through your crown chakra on the top of your head.  Ask for guides to come through that have helped you in other lifetimes and are here to help you in this lifetime.

You’ll know the difference between your higher self and other guides that are connecting with you by how it feels. When you connect with your guides you’ll know it comes from beyond who you are in this moment. Getting used to the different feelings about what’s your higher self and what’s another spirit, you’ll learn how to bring these in more and this will help you with the growth on your path.

How Do I Interpret My Recent Dreams and Enhance My Psychic Gifts?

This post answers questions by a reader who goes by the name, SoulSeekingPeace, who asks The Council to interpret a dream they had where a wolf wants to get into their house, but SoulSeekingPeace is afraid and the wolf runs away. The Council says the wolf represents the teacher, and their higher self has sent this dream to open new doors and to teach them new ways.

A couple days later SoulSeekingPeace had another dream where they heard the words, “Everything is energy.” The Council says this voice and the wolf from their previous dream is to help SoulSeekingPeace become aware of energy by hearing it, feel it, and possibly even tasting it.

Even though SoulSeekingPeace hasn’t mentioned anything in their Comment about hands on healing, which The Council says is there for them if they think they’d like that, The Council suggests they read the book, Hands of Light, by Barbara Brennan. If they read this book it can put them more in touch with how energy works, how they can see and feel it, and this book will help to bring SoulSeekingPeace along their path.

SoulSeekingPeace asks what they should do to get rid of the fear they have of energy and psychic knowledge they feel coming from other lifetimes? The Council says these fears usually means that in a past life you misused these gifts in some way. You regretted this misuse and wish to have another chance in your current lifetime to work with energy and psychic knowledge in a positive way.

The Council advises SoulSeekingPeace to learn as much as they can about the chakras and experience different types of energy healing until you can feel what you’re drawn to. They specifically mention Polarity, Reiki, Reconnection, and Acupuncture as a starting point.

SoulSeekingPeace says they think they’re telepathic and empathic, and The Council says these gifts are definitely there. As you progress along the path The Council recommends, you’ll see how you’re able to pick up other people’s energy, which you’re already able to do to some extent. And you’ll become more psychic with meditation.

They suggest learning the meditation taught by the famous psychic, Edgar Cayce, with the Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE). It would be good to join the ARE and search their records on energy, healing, and almost any subject you can think of. This is how you can advance in your psychic work in a positive way. This is happening in your life right now because you’re ready to experience this.

Learning About Spirituality, but Has Fears and Doubts

This post answers questions for The Council from a reader named, Lola, who’s been trying to learn about spirituality, but now she’s filled with fears, doubts, and questions that override the feelings of joy and peace she previously felt from learning about spirit.

The Council says the most important thing for Lola is to learn about herself. They advise her to meditate on the fact that she is spirit. As spirit you volunteer to come into this lifetime and work through different lessons and experiences to help yourself grow and to help others grow.

We all have our work that we come here to do. Everything you come here to do is decided on before you come into your current lifetime. You bring spirits with you that you’ve been with before. They come into your life to help you, or to make your life harder so you learn and grow. There’s nothing fearful in that.

Lola pre-planned in spirit before coming into this lifetime to experience these fears, doubts, and questions so she’d be able to work through them. The #1 purpose of every spirit is to come into a lifetime and bring love into whatever you’re creating. So if you’ve come into this lifetime with obstacles, you’ve asked for these obstacles so you can find your way through them and bring love into them. Take the fear you experience and turn it into love.

In every situation there are only two choices: fear and love. In which direction do you want to go? As you focus on love, you’ll find more experiences coming your way that will show you more love, show you happiness and kindness, and help you open up to who you are as a spiritual being. If you focus on your fears, you’ll bring more of these fearful experiences into your life and have to work through them to change your beliefs and what you’re experiencing around these fears.

We’re all coming from one source of energy, which is love. Each time you come into this reality you create another part of who you are as a spiritual being. When you return to spirit, everything you’ve gone through, the good and the bad, you take back with you and everyone in spirit learns and grows from your experience. We’re all one, and yet there’s the individual part of you, and that part changes and grows with each incarnation you have.

Lola says there’s a feeling we can’t escape from our creation of bad experiences. The Council says you can always escape from experiences by what you focus on. The more you focus on bad experiences, the more you’ll bring them to you. You need to begin to understand you’re a powerful spirit. You’re here to change things for the better. You are the complete creator of everything that goes on in your reality. No one else can create for you.

When you learn the most powerful tool you have is choice, and you think everything is scaring you and you don’t know what to do, what if you just try to see your situation differently? What if you try to feel happier and calmer? Beginning to do this will show you what you can change. There’s a positive aspect to your fears.

Know that you chose to experience these fears so you can change them and grow from them. You’re the creator. How can you change the things that are frightening you? Use your imagination and see things turning out better. See yourself safe. See yourself smiling and happy. If you can hold onto these images and feel what you’re imagining, you’ll see your life change. That is what you came into this lifetime to do.

In a past life in ancient Egypt you were one of the priests that taught children about energy, how you control your thoughts, and how you create your future. As a loving teacher you couldn’t understand why some of the children weren’t able to easily understand what you were teaching because it was so simple for you. So in your current lifetime you wanted to experience what these slower children were going through. You chose to make things harder for yourself by not knowing how to turn obstacles around into love with your mind. As you try these things again it will come to you easily because it’s something you’ll remember from this past life.

Lola asks if we’re able to experience evil so deeply that we forget our true nature as spiritual beings? The Council says, yes, if you focus on evil. Thinking thoughts like, evil cannot touch me, evil is an illusion, everything is from the light, I am safe, and I am love can be beneficial.

The Council advises Lola to learn about the chakras, their colors, their energy, and what they do. Surround yourself in white light when you wake up and before you go to sleep.

There isn’t good energy and bad energy. There’s only energy. What you do with this energy, how you think about it, what you want to create with this energy makes it good or bad. What do you want to do with energy? You’re here to learn how to change your thought, your situations, your experiences around you with your mind.

Lola says she can’t picture herself free of fear in the future, even if she’s surrounded by loving people. How can she overcome her fears and doubts if she doesn’t understand everything fully?

The Council says when you have these fears and negative thoughts, be still and acknowledge that you’re having these fears and thoughts and then ask yourself how you can turn them around and reach for the light within you. Look for a pinhead of light in your heart and concentrate on that light growing until it comes out of your chest and puts you in a capsule of loving energy. If you’re working to find this light within you, you won’t have time to focus on doubt and negativity.

Lola closes by saying she feels like she’s deviated too far from her soul purpose and The Council says this will never happen. You’ll find a way through these obstacles, whether it’s the easy way or some illusion that you create. And if you feel you haven’t succeeded, you’ll come back to another reality and try to find your way through these obstacles again.

You’re here to understand how you create with your mind and your feelings, and how you can change anything to be beautiful, to have loving energy, and to help you grow. That’s your purpose. You’ll never stray from this purpose. Whatever obstacle you create, it’s just you trying to push you to learn how to work through this obstacle.
